<![CDATA[ABSTRACTSustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have three important sustainable pillars for a development: economy,social and environment. The topic for social sustainable is considered essential for the community in KerengBangkirai, Central Kalimantan as the basic problems for this community lays on the community dependency towardnatural resources. The community roles supported the social sustainability affect the systems which facilitate thenatural resources management, so that natural conservation can be accelerate. Based on the explanation, thisresearch aims to describe the types of community participation to support social sustainabilityin Kereng BangkiraiDistrict, Central Kalimantan. This research was concluded in Kereng Bangkirai District by applying in-depth interviewmethod for six key-informen and 16 informen, and the results were analysed qualitatively. The results show that thereare some institutions and individual along with the social local wisdom involve in management activity and in takingbeneficiaries of natural resources in Kereng Bangkirai.Keywords: Participation, sustainability, social]]>
