Abstract

This research is a classroom action research aimed at improving student learning outcomes in Civics lessons taught through CIRC learning models (Cooperative, Integrated, Reading and Composition) in Multimedia Class X Students of SMK Negeri 3 Watampone Kab. Bone with 35 students. The implementation of this action consists of two cycles, each cycle carried out through the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used are the provision of tests and observation sheets. The results of the analysis obtained were changes in behavior of students who experienced an increase with the percentage in the first cycle only 94.2% and in the second cycle increased to 95.71% there was also an increase in attention, interest and motivation of students towards the subject matter given by the teacher. From this analysis, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of PKn students in Class X Multimedia at SMK Negeri 3 Watampone have increased after being given action through the CIRC learning model (Cooperative, Integrated, Reading and Composition).

Abstract

This study aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of third grade students of Majalaya VII Elementary School in simple fraction materials using fractional card media. The use of this media is done through a game. This type of research is classroom action research. This study uses the Kemmis and Taggart model. The subjects in this study were third grade students of Majalaya VII State Elementary School, totaling 24 students. The techniques used for data collection are observation and written test techniques. The research instrument uses student observation sheets and written tests. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive quantitative and qualitative descriptive. Based on the results obtained it can be concluded that: the completeness of mathematics learning outcomes using fractional card media in third grade students of Majalaya VII State Elementary School has increased. The increase in the first cycle was 62.50% while in the second cycle was 79.17%.

Abstract

The result of student's mathematics learning is low. This study aims to determine the tendency of mathematics learning outcomes using cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) and using conventional learning. The method used in this research is kuantitatif with Quasi Experimental Design approach. Result of analysis by using t-test if sig value <0,05. From the t-test results obtained sig value = 0.002 which means 0.002 <0.05, then the hypothesis proposed accepted and significant. There is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of Mathematics between the lessons using cooperative learning models of teams games tournament type (TGT) and those using conventional learning. Judging from the results of the cooperative model of cooperative learning type of teams games tournament (TGT) is higher than the use of conventional learning.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the use of relaxation video to manage students' stress learning in SMP Negeri 4 Ajangale. This study used a quantitative approach with pre-experimental designs on 30 subjects who were randomly picked and were students of CLASS VII A in SMP Negeri 4 Ajangale. Data collection using stress scale learning instrument. Data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis, namely t-test. The results of the study showed that: (1) The level of stress of learning in SMP Negeri 4 Ajangale, before treatment in the form of relaxation exercise using relaxation video is in high category but after being treated in the form of relaxation exercise using relaxation video, stress level of student learning can be managed and in very low category. (2) The use of effective relaxation video to manage students' stress in SMP Negeri 4 Ajangale

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of students' independence in understanding the subject matter and efforts to improve student learning outcomes using the play method. This research is a type of classroom action research. The approach used is a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were group A students of Pertiwi Pompanua Kindergarten, Bone District, odd semester 2018/2019 Academic Year, totaling 15 students. The object in this study is the application of outdoor and indoor learning strategies in improving student learning outcomes. The tool used to collect data is a test that is the initial test, test post I, test post II, interview and observation. This study consisted of two cycles. Efforts made to understand drawing material according to the wishes of students, researchers provide learning in groups. From giving actions to learning using the playing method in the first and second cycles, data were obtained about the average value and level of mastery of student learning. On the initial test, the average score of students was 1.93, at the time of the test post I the average score of students increased to 2.53 and at the time of the test post-II the average score of students increased to 3.33. While for completeness in the initial test only by 20%, the first cycle increased to 60%, even in the second cycle increased sharply to 86.67%. This means that the results obtained by students in the second cycle have reached the level of completeness in classics, namely ≥85% which reached a complete value of intang3 star. Furthermore, the attitude of students' independence, at the pre-cycle of 13.33, then in the first cycle increased to 53.33, and in the second cycle 86.67%. So it can be concluded that the use of playing methods can increase students' independence in understanding the subject matter and improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is Classroom Action Research which aims to improve student learning outcomes through STAD Cooperative Learning Using Index Cards. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIPA 1 Watampone 1 Senior High School totaling 36 people in the 2016/2017 academic year. The implementation of this study consisted of two cycles. The collected data is analyzed using qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results are after two tests of the class average value of 64, 21 in the first cycle increased to 77.02 in the second cycle, this means that the standard of graduation at SMA 1 Watampone has been achieved with the number of students as many as 26 people. The number of students who completed individually in the first cycle was 11 people increased to 24 people in the second cycle. Classically, the increase was 42.30% in the first cycle which increased to 92.30% in the second cycle. Thus, STAD Cooperative Learning Using the Index Card as a learning model is able to improve student learning activities and outcomes, especially students' biological understanding.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the implementation of character education for street children, and the efforts of the board to instill character education for street children in the shelter and learn Diponegoro, and to describe and analyze the character education for street children. This research is a qualitative research by taking the background Shelter and Learning Diponegoro Depok Sleman Yogyakarta. Data collection is done by conducting observation, interview and documentation. The results showed that: (1) the implementation of character education done anywhere and anytime without any written plan about the character to be implanted. From the process there are several values of character that are planted among them are religious, responsibility, discipline, independence, honesty. (2) Efforts made by the board or mentor in inculcating the character is through the guidance of learning that is held once a week for street children home visit while for street children in the house caretaker or companion to provide daily schedule from waking up to sleep again.

Abstract

Social Sciences (IPS) as a part of education has an important role in improving the quality of education, especially in producing qualified students, namely humans who are able to think critically, creatively, logically, and take the initiative in responding to issues in society caused by the impact of scientific development knowledge / science and technology (science and technology). However, social studies learning in elementary schools today is less associated with social and technological issues in the community. Especially related to the development of technology and the presence of technology products in the community, as well as the consequences thereof. Social studies teaching in schools is solely oriented to the demands of the curriculum. A teacher is not easy to create conditions conducive to all students. There are students who are proactive, there are students who are not talkative (quiet) but have academic abilities, and there are also students who talk a lot but have low abilities. In fact, there are students with middle to lower academic abilities who feel pressured by social science material that is full of theories, concepts, which are complicated and even difficult to understand. This causes the lack of meaning in social studies at this time, thus causing student learning activities to be low and learning to be passive. In fact, the 2013 curriculum, the teaching approach used in learning activities should be positioned as a center of attention or in other words active students. Development of IPS teaching materials using the STM approach is a form of teaching that not only emphasizes the mastery of science concepts but also emphasizes the role of science and technology in various people's lives and fosters a sense of social responsibility towards the impact of science and technology on the community. Through the Community Science approach, 6 domains of science can be developed, namely the realm of concepts, processes, creativity, attitudes, applications, and interrelations.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the Application of Cooperative Learning type Snowball Throwing in Improving Learning Outcomes At Subjects IPS In Class V Elementary School Mappala of Makassar, the approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive type of research is the Classroom action research  cyclical  which  includes planning, implementation, observation, and refleksi. The study population were students of class V Elementary School Mappala Rappocini Subdistrict, City of Makassar numbered 20 people. Data collection techniques of this research is to test, interviews, observations and field notes. Analysis data using descriptive statistical techniques to describe the results of student learning. The results of the study are as follows; (1) by using an approach Cooperative mode Snowball Trawing in Class V Elementary School Mappala can improve student learning outcomes in social studies, (2) the student is already active in the learning approach Cooperative type Snowball Trawing, (3) the teacher is able to carry out learning approach Cooperative tipe Snowball Trawing. an increase in student learning outcomes using a cooperative approach Trawing Snowball type because students on student learning is more active in the implementation of the learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to find out what forms of code mixing are used in speaking. The research employed a descriptive method. The subject of this research was the seventh grade of SMP Islam Al-Azhar in academic year 2014/2015. This research used cluster sampling. The sample of this research consisted of 20 students from 60 students as the total of population. This research used two instruments: notes and questionnaire. Notes from the spies were used to find out the forms of code mixing, observation was used to identify the forms of code mixing. The result of the research shows that there were three forms of code mixing that occurred namely: intra-sentential code mixing, intra-lexical code mixing and involving a change of pronunciation. The intra-sentential code mixing was the most frequently mixed points in English-Indonesian code mixing.
