PT. Bata Indonesia is a company engaged in footwear manufacturing and retail industry. The increasing competition in today’s business world becomes a challenge for the company to keep competing and surviving in the competition.The research method used in this research is descriptive method with case-study research type. The research data collection technique is survey which was carried through interviews and questionnaires with the company director and general service manager of the sales department. The collection of data obtained was analyzed using SWOT analysis. For in order to make an accurate strategy for a company to run, it is necessary to begin with reviewing the company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and also threats for the company.From the SWOT analysis undertaken, it was figured that the IFAS value is 2,64584 and the EFAS value is 2,32827. Moreover, the IE matrix showed that the company’s position is in the concentration strategy through horizontal integration or stability. This is a state where the company is experiencing a period of growth. These results inferred that the fittest strategy the company should implement is a growth strategy through horizontal integration. It is an activity to expand the company by building outlets, stores, and mall sales in as many cities as possible in Indonesia, and also to improve the products through product innovations. The result of SWOT diagram also showed that the company carries out aggressive strategy or at quadrant 1 that possesses positive value.From the research results, it can be concluded that the company should implement SO (Strengths-Opportunities) strategy for the company to maintain the ability to survive in the business competition.

The central issue in this study is the lack of support facilities such as facilities and infrastructure such as the number of books is still limited and the quality and quantity of employees that are still lacking. This study aims to: (1) To know know the quality of library services In Office Regional Library Upper North River, (2) To determine what factors influence in providing library services to the Office of Regional Library Hulu Sungai Utara. The method used in this study were A study to provide a detailed overview of the background, the nature, characteristics, typical of the quality of library services in providing public services to the community. Collecting data with interview techniques, observation and documentation. Analysis of the research results are used qualitative analysis with data reduction step, the presentation of the data and draw conclusions.The results showed: (1) Library and Archives Services Hulu Sungai Utara Regency is quite good, especially in the aspect of Assurance (Assurance) and Empathy (Empathy) and DayaTanggap (Responsiveness), while the aspect needs to be improved is the Physical Evidence (Tangibles) and reliability (Reability) is a collection of books and appropriate facilities and infrastructure supporting the development of ICT (Information Communication and Technology as well as knowledge and education for the improvement of the quality of employees. (2) Factors that affect library and archive service Hulu Sungai Utara Regency is a means and infrastructure such as collection of books as well as the quality and quantity of employees Library and Archives Hulu Sungai Utara Regency inadequate. The purpose of this study was to determine how marketing public relations of Happy Puppy Banjarmasin karaoke in an effort of attracting visitors.The method used in this study is a qualitative research method, this method is trying to describe and explain an event by looking at the facts that exist as observations, but researcher also analyze and integrate, after that researcher conducted a classification. Data collection methods that writer use are interviews and documentaries.These results indicate that marketing public relations conducted by Happy Puppy Banjarmasin in an effort of attracting visitors through activities, namely: 1) Corporate identity, 2) sponsorship, 3) community relations 4) Publications, and 5) Customer relations, those activities through the phases of planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with the opinion of Ruslan (2010), and from 7 marketing public relations activities mentioned by Kasali (2006) only 4 marketing public relations activities undertaken by Happy Puppy Banjarmasin.

Hypertension gives symptoms that will continue a little market target organs, such as stroke (to the brain), coronary heart disease (for coronary arteries) and hypertrophy of the right ventricle/left ventricle hypertrophy (for the heart muscle). The general objective of this study was to determine the relationship between smoking and exercise habits to the incidence of hypertension in elderly patients at the Health Center of East Kelayan Banjarmasin.In this study using analytical survey method with cross sectional approach. Accidental sampling with sampling techniques. Data collection using interviews through questionnaires, data analysis using Chi-Square test with a significance level (α) = 10 %. The data collected were analyzed using statistical univariate, bivariate analysis using chi square test with the help of computerization. The results obtained by analysis of the respondents who had diarrhea in Puskesmas kelayan Timur Banjarmasin city as much as 54.2%. Variables significantly associated with the incidence of diarrhea (p <0.1) is exercise habits. Advice can be given in this study is to health centers for improvement of East Kelayan extension given to increasing public knowledge increases. For the elderly who need to avoid developing hypertension risk factors hypertension. For further research are expected to conduct research on other risk factors.

The background of this research is that the client / student / student is a troubled teen who is identified can always disturbing growth of the public who are not can not be expected in the community. So researchers are interested in knowing how kefektivitas komunikasiny between troubled teens with the officers in Children's Social Development of Youth (PSBR) Budi Satria South Kalimantan Province. The method used is descriptive quantitative method with the object of study is the effectiveness of interpersonal communication officer and troubled teens in the PSBR. Theories used include Interpersonal Communication Theories, effective interpersonal communication is a humanistic perspective, and understanding of youth. Its population of 125 troubled teens by using the formula as much as 30 teenagers Taro Yamani. The results showed the effectiveness of the communication officers in troubled teens and Teens Children's Social Development (PSBR) Budi Satria South Kalimantan high category (65.36%) as there are in the range of 60.1 to 80%, the level of communication among troubled teens or clients with the officers established a good communication and efktiv. The implications of this study is that the pattern of development that has been used in the Children's Social Development of Youth (PSBR) Budi Satria South Kalimantan province have been said better.

This research is based on a theoretical framework, expert ideas, or the understanding of researchers based on their experience, then developed into problems and solutions that are proposed to obtain justification (Verification) in the form of emperical data support in the field. This study aims to find out and analyze how much influence the variables of product quality, price and promotion on purchasing decisions on VIVO mobile phones. The method used in this study is a quantitative method, with a population of 40, a sample of 40 people and data analysis techniques with research instruments validity test, reliability test and using multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the Product Quality, Price and Promotion variables individually and together influence the VIVO Mobile Purchase Decision on the Pelaihari Mart Gadget. Meanwhile, based on the results of the F Test at the level of α of 5%, it proves that all the independent variables have a significant effect on the dependent variables together (simultaneous). Adjusted determination (R2) is 0.505 or 50.5%, this shows the amount of contribution given by all independent variables on the dependent variable.

The evolution of the forex market is divided into two stages. World War IPeriod and the Bretton Woods period is included Fixed Rate Periodstage. At this stage, forex does not excite transactions because of exchange rate changes can only occur in a relatively narrow range. After a period of Bretton Woods, after the failure of Period Exchange Rates Remain in maintaining economic stability, forex transactions getting psyched. This occurs because the assessment of the exchange rate between countries be left entirely to the market mechanism. The market will determine whether the exchange rate is too expensive (over-valued) or too low (under-valued).This study aims to determine the effect of ability, experience and discipline together and partially on the performance forex trader in South Kalimantan. This type of research is quantitative method. The samples were obtained 56 votes. To determine the effect the ability, experience and discipline to the performance of the test statistic methods trader used multiple linear regression. Data processing was performed using IBM SPSS Statistics 23 program for Windows.Based on the results of the research show that together the ability, experience and discipline significant effect on the performance of forex traders in South Kalimantan. Partially, ability, experience and discipline positive and significant impact on the performance of forex traders in South Kalimantan.Keywords: Capability, Experience, Discipline and Performance

This study aims to examine the determinants of behavioral of individualinterest to use technology-based information systems. This research is thedevelopment of models Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) by Ozer and Yilmaz(2010), Lee et al. (2005), and Karami (2006). This study examined the influence ofperceived usefulness on individual interests, attitudes toward the interests ofindividual behavior, subjective norm against individual interests, perceivedbehavioral control towards individual interests, and the interests of theindividual against the behavior of the use of technology based informationsystems. The results of this research is demonstrated that perceived usefulness(KP), attitude toward the behavior (STP), subjective norm (NS), and perceivedbehavioral control (KPP), has positive effects on individual interest (MI), andindividual interest (MI) has positive effects on behavior (P) technology-basedinformation systems users.

Relatedness of opinion on fertility is when there is an increase on one’s income, this will provide greater effect on the decrease of fertility. This research aims to know and describe the effects of income, cost of children, working hours, age of first marriage, education and work location on working female fertility in Palangka Raya City. In this paper, the data collection technique is by Library Research), namely the data collection technique through various literatures to obtain theoretical basic equipment such as books, magazines, bulletins as well as other relevant readings to the studied issues. (b) Field Research, namely by direct observation on the observed objects.The research result of independent variable effect results on dependent variables in a whole can be seen from the value of F-Count by 17,954 with the probability level of 0,000 (significance). Because the probability is much smaller than α = 0,05, so the regression model can be used to predict the affecting factors on fertility on working female in palangka Raya city in terms of poor family or can be said that income, cost of children, working hours, age of first marriage, education and work location simultaneously affect significantly on fertility on working female in Palangka Raya city in poor family.

One of the executing agency is the PNPM Urban Community Self-Reliance Agency (BKM). BKM is a collective leadership council society resident population of the village, and as the BKM institutions can act as a representation of civil society village residents. In some villages in the district east Banjarmasin, found that in his travels, BKM various constraints both internal and external, among others: internal constraints such as: yet the prevalence of human resource capabilities associated with the BKM BKM concepts so that the dependence on the coordinator is still large. External constraints such as indifference from the majority community towards poverty reduction so as to make some programs, particularly environmental obstacles. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that. BKM performed the role of communication in disseminating the National Program for Community Empowerment in Urban Banjarmasin run effectively enough to remember the people who began to use the program PNPM Urban community even ask for increasingly easy in the governance practices as well as the implementation of the PNPM Urban continuously improved and sustained.
