Jurnal AL-TAUJIH adalah jurnal pengembangan kajian keilimuan bimbingan dan konseling Islam, kajian pendidikan konseling, dan berbagai kajian bimbingan konseling dalam berbagai pendekatan yang diterbitkan oleh salah satu Program Studi Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Abstract

Children with autism at Vocational High School 4 Padang has some achievements both in class and the level of West Sumatra. children with autism at SMK 4 Padang been the first winner in its class and champion race Graphic Design West Sumatra level. With all their flaws, children with autism are capable of achievement beat friends in a normal class background. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach is a case study that describes the facts and the reality of actual and accurate information on the state of the field. Data were collected using observation and interview techniques. Based on this study it can be concluded that the success of children with autism can not be separated from the coaching is done guidance and counseling teachers, parents, teachers, friends of children with autism and the cooperation between parents and teachers. Cooperation that teachers with parents explained to the school environment on the existence of autistic children in SMKN 4 Padang, responding to the presence of children with autism and understand the behavior of children with autism. The success of children with autism gain achievements in the classroom and the level of West Sumatra can not be separated from the coaching role of parents who never gave up her lead even accompany their children to school on the morning after school. Tutor and counseling teacher always discuss with the teachers of subjects in the classroom of children with autism, about the development of the behavior of children with autism, children with autism learn and how to solve problems caused by the behavior of children with autism.

Abstract

Viewed from the perspective of the profession, the development of guidance and counseling in the country has not shown the progress normally as an independent profession. Problems guidance and counseling are always facing the dynamics of this profession. Guidance and counseling mandated as one component of education in schools memandirikan counselee (learners), have not been able to carry out the mandate. Contributions school counselors (teacher BK) dyed ability to develop competence is not yet a practical reality in guidance and counseling services in schools. On the other hand, bureaucratic policy raises broad opportunities in this profession downgrades. As a profession, the performance of guidance and counseling services should meet the four elements, namely the fundamental theory, validated standard practice, the autonomy of the profession, and professional organizations are credible. Some scientific activities are carried out in this study to improve the competence of school counselors (teacher BK) is a research, seminars, workshops, workshops, trainings, discussion panels, and similar activities that scale local, national, regional, and international, for the future guidance and counseling as an independent profession.

Abstract

Counselling as a profession helper, the root of every profession helper lies in the nature of man himself must be understood by the counselor. The counselor must have the knowledge, skills, and support experience and personality. The counselor must have the competence that is built on a philosophical foundation of human nature, with all its potential, strengths and weaknesses in his life as a creature of Allah  Almighty. Academic competence and professional counselors are integrated to build the integrity of the pedagogical, personality, social and professional. Based on the view of human nature, the nature of counseling, not independent and is associated with human nature itself, as a counseling service that helps resolve the problems faced by individuals. If the individual was not able to finish it, then there is a way one way to find a solution, is through counseling.

Abstract

Teenage phase is a phase of changes not only physically but also psycho-socially. Teenage phase is characterized as “storm and stress” phrase. In this phase, teenagers experience strong emotions caused by pressure and tense to reach maturity. Emotional awareness is important to develop adaptive character in social interaction. Social-personal counselling covers emotional awareness which focusses solution to help students to solve emotional problems at school.

Abstract

Character is the values of human behavior associated with the Almighty God, ourselves, our fellow human beings, the environment, and nationality embodied in thoughts, attitudes, feelings, words, and actions based on religious norms, laws, manners, culture and customs. In this study, which will be disclosed are: 1) Application of character values of respect and courtesy MPI student of Faculty of education and teacher IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang.2) Application of character values of responsibility majors MPI Faculty of education and Teaching IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang. This research field research (field research) that is descriptive kualalitatif. The technique of collecting data through observation and interview techniques.

Abstract

The family is the initial education phase traversed by a child, where the child would spend more time with family. Education in the family becomes very important for the growth and development of each child's potential. If children live in a harmonious family environment it will be a positive influence on children's growth and development potential. However, if a child is raised in a broken home family environment, it will negatively affect the child's growth and development potential.

Abstract

Humans have some potential to be developed , one potential diversity . The development of the religious life sometimes need help from others so that religious life is growing properly . In terms of psychology , said that the change of belief / religious soul changes in adults is not something that just happens incident , but reasonable growth . Development of religious life preceded by a variety of processes and conditions . At the time of adulthood humans already have been aware of the responsibility and the meaning of life . At the age of the elderly there is a change in the direction of receiving faith belief traditionally associated with one's beliefs .

Abstract

Sense of community (SOC) on student self Prodi BK in Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN) will lead  to a sense of empathy, mutual aid between the academic community in order to achieve success together in learning and career as a counselor later,.This study is a comparative study using factor analysis with Kruskal Willis. The study population was student of Counseling 4th semester of the academic year 2014/2015 in PTKIN  different  status is IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang, State Islamic University Syarif Kasim Sultan Riau and IAIN Jamil Jambek Bukittinggi. These samples included 136 people. Data were collected by questionnaire and processed using SPSS. The results showed differences in student scores SOC Prodi BK based on the status of their home institutions and schools are boarding schools, high schools, and vocational MAN.
