Abstract

Broad flat learning in SDN 51/ II students in Paku Aji Village is still conventional. Learning is still teacher-centered, making it boring for students. For this reason, researchers are interested in improving the learning process of mathematics, especially in the area of square and rectangular learning through the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach. The CTL approach is felt to be able to overcome existing problems. In improving the learning outcomes of square and rectangular areas through the CTL approach there are 7 steps, namely: constructivism, inquiry, asking questions, learning society, modeling, reflection and authentic assessment. The results of the study conducted the percentage of the average class of student learning outcomes in the first cycle of meeting 1 with the material square area is 80% in the first cycle of meeting 2 with rectangular material is 69%, cycle II meeting 1 with the material area square and rectangle is 97 % in the second cycle of meeting 2 was 98%. The conclusion obtained from this study is that the CTL approach can improve the learning outcomes of a flat building area, which is about the area of a square and a rectangle.

Abstract

Science learning includes three main elements that cannot be separated from one another, namely science as a product, process, and attitude. When the teaching and learning process, science learning must emphasize the aspects of the process (activity), namely about how students learn and the influence of the learning process for the development of the students themselves. Student learning activities can be built through accommodating direct learning experiences. Because learning experience is closely related to the development of process skills. Learning experience is a number of student activities carried out to obtain new information and competencies in accordance with the objectives to be achieved. Through accommodating learning experiences students can develop students' competencies in exploring and understanding nature scientifically. Accommodating learning experiences can be carried out by the teacher through several activities including (1) Expressing the learning goals that students must achieve before the learning activities begin. (2) Arrange learning tasks with students. (3) Provide information about learning activities that students must do. (4) Providing assistance and services to students who need it. (5) Providing motivation, encouraging students to learn, guide, etc. through the submission of questions. (6) Helping students to draw a conclusion. Through learning experience, teachers can improve the quality of learning so that it is more meaningful, and can develop all the potential that students have.

Abstract

The background of this study is the low speed reading skills of class VI SDN 81 / II Muara Bungo students. The success of reading skills can not be separated from the accuracy of the selection of learning media used in the classroom. Media Marquee (running text media) is an alternative media that can be used to improve the process and student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of Marquee's media use to improve the process and learning outcomes of speed reading for grade 6 students of SDN 81 / II Muara Bungo. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two research cycles. The research data is in the form of test results and non-test results. Furthermore, the results of this study, namely (1) an increase in the speed reading process with Marquee media with an average gain of 215.5 or in the medium category, (2) an increase in the results of speed reading learning with Marquee media with an average gain 250.25 or in the fast category. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that Marquee's media effectively improves the speed reading skills of class VI SDN 81 / II Muara Bungo students.

Abstract

Inthis study, the authors apply thelearning Polya steps to improve student learning outcomes. This study aimed to describe the planning, execution, and improved learning outcomes. This research was class room action research. Using qualitative and quantitative approaches.Subjects were teachers and students of class IV elementary School District 020/XI Koto Lebu Kota Sungai Penuh Kerinci. In thefirst cycleof teachersin designing learning skills 69.5%, 69.5% showed teacher activity and student activity 62.5%. Meanwhile, thesecondcycleis seen to rise. The abilityof teachersin designing learning to 86%. Activity to 87.5% of teachers, student activity to 83.5%. In short, action researchusing Polya steps to improve student learning outcomes

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes, the use of improper learning methods, and the index card match learning has never been done at SD Negeri No. 166/II Tirta Mulya. This study aims to improve the process and results of mathematics learning in fifth grade students of SD Negeri No. 166 / II Tirta Mulya Village, by applying the active learning index index match type. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observing and reflecting carried out collaboratively. The research was conducted at SD Negeri No. 166 / II Tirta Mulya Village. The subjects of this study were 21 class V students. The study was conducted for 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 2 meetings. Data collection techniques use test methods, observation sheets and documentation. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results of the study showed that the index card match type active learning strategy and paying attention to the learning steps to improve the learning process and student learning outcomes, there was an increase in the learning process and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the extent of the effect of giving a small test (quiz) at the end of learning on the results of social studies learning of the eighth grade students of MTsN Kubang Putih in the 2015/2016 academic year. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment study. The population in this study were all students of class VIII MTsN Kubang Putih totaling 6 classes. The sample in the study was determined by Random Sampling technique, selected class VIII.5 as the experimental class and class VIII.4 as the control class. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a significant effect between giving a small test (quiz) at the end of learning on the results of social studies learning of the eighth grade students of MTsN Kubang Putih. The data analysis technique used is by t test provided that the data must be normal and homogeneous, then the criteria will be accepted H_1 if t_count> t table is dk = n1 + n2 - 2 and α = 0.05. The results of data analysis obtained t_count = 3.32 and table with significant levels α = 0.05 is 1.68 and dk = n1 + n2 - 2. So t_count> t table. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of students' social studies learning outcomes by giving a small test (quiz) at the end of learning significantly higher. So the hypothesis is accepted at 95% confidence level.

Abstract

This research is motivated by groupings that only use the lecture method without using media in the application of students who are not active in learning such as group discussions and asking questions. In addition, from the data obtained by students' science learning outcomes are still low, which is still below the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM), which is 70. This study aims to improve Student Learning Processes and Results by using Image and Image Methods in Science Learning. The design of this study is classroom action research using two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation, and reflection. The research subjects were teachers and third grade students of Public Elementary School No.105 / II in Rambah Village who practiced 36 students. Data collection techniques use teacher performance measurements and tests. The results showed that the teacher in the first cycle of my meeting got a score of 69.32% with good criteria, meeting II with a score of 72.73% with good criteria. In the second cycle my meeting with a score of 82.95% criteria was very good, in the second cycle of the second meeting with a score of 100%. And classical completeness of student learning outcomes in the first cycle of meeting I was 33% and the first cycle of meeting II was 50%. In the second period, the first meeting was 67% and the second meeting was 94%..

Abstract

Street vendors (PKL) are one of the most popular informal sectors that are able to provide new jobs. In terms of Islamic law, the practice of buying and selling carried out by street vendors is a legitimate and lawful transaction to do if it meets the requirements and harmonizes its sale. This type of research is descriptive qualitative by using primary and secondary data collection with snowball sampling. . The results of the study are the reasons that influence the street vendors to prefer to trade outside the kiosk because they are not permanent traders, the merchandise is simple and can be transported by two-wheeled vehicles. In addition, goods are also sold quickly because they are easy to reach and do not need to enter the shopping area and do not need to pay kiosk rent. The impact caused by street vendors is disrupting traffic resulting in congestion, lack of cleanliness in the market environment and triggering criminal acts. The policy carried out by the government is to control and reinforce the regulations regarding the control of street vendors. According to Islamic law, a buying and selling system that utilizes public facilities including those that are not permitted, even though the terms of sale and purchase are considered valid. Likewise, the government is allowed to issue regulations governing the prohibition of selling on the street, if it is considered to disturb or endanger the passers-by. . Abstract

Hasil belajar mahasiswa terlihat rendah. Ini merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan mahasiswa terhadap konsep matematika juga masih rendah. Masalah ini diperkirakan karena pembelajaran masih terpusat pada dosen,untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut yaitu dengan melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan pembelajaran aktif tipe Giving Question and Getting Answer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pada pembelajaran statistik dengan menerapkan pembelajaran aktif tipe Giving Question and Getting Answer lebih baik dari pada pemahaman konsep mahasiswa dengan pembelajaran konvensinal. Jenis penelitian ini penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan random subjek. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa STKIP. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah secara acak,terpilih kelas sampel Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes akhir belajar dalam bentuk essay. Data diperoleh di analisis dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa kelas yang mendapat perlakuan adalah 77,14 lebih tinggi dan persentase tiap-tiap indikator pemahaman konsep pada kelas lebih tinggi. Dari hasil uji statistik t diperoleh thitung=2,44 dan ttabel=1,645, sehingga thitung > ttabel dan dari software MINITAB diperoleh p-value=0.010. Terlihat bahwa p-value lebih kecil dari pada , dapat disimpulkan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran aktif tipe Giving Question and Getting Answer lebih baik.

Abstract

The background of the problem in this study was the low learning outcomes on social subject of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 81/II Muara Bungo. This study aimed to describe the process and results of social subject by applying Cooperative Learning called Numbered Head models in grade IV SD Negeri 81/II Muara Bungo.This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with four stages of activities namely planning, action, recognition and reflection. The results of the data analysis have shown that the application of the Numbered Head Together could improve the process and results of social subject grade IV SD Negeri 81/II Muara Bungo.
