Abstract

This study answers two main questions, about what problems are faced by teachers in designing Arabic language learning in class 2 MA Sumber Gayam Kadur along with the solution. The researcher used qualitative methods and analytical descriptive studies. Then, the data sources for this study included Arabic language teachers, a number of class 2 students, and the school principal of MA Sumber Gayam Kadur. All data presented in this study came from structured and unstructured interviews, observations, and documentation. This research proves that the problems faced by teachers include the selection of the best methods that are most suitable for students who are not homogeneous, time management that must be managed properly, and problems related to the application of learning steps that are appropriate to the classroom conditions. From all of these problems, the researcher can conclude the solution by presenting at least 2 experts to update the curriculum every year, encouraging teachers to be active in training organized by the local government and the Foundation's full support in improving the quality of teachers.

Abstract

This study discusses Arabic words which are absorbed into Indonesian. The research background of this study is that teachers feel difficult to choose the right content to achieve appropriate goals for foreign beginners, prepare good educational materials for them, determine what should be first started from the lesson materials and show the discussions that require deep concentration. The method used to realize this research was a literature study by using documents such as Arabic and Indonesian books. It was analyzed using deductive and inductive analysis accurately until becoming independent analysis. The result showed that Arabic words which are absorbed into Indonesian in pronouncing and it's meaning are Arabic words that are entered in Indonesian without changing the pronunciation (lafadz) and it's meaning. There are two hundred and fifteen words that have been presented in this research, and most of them come from jamid or Mushtaq names. It has effects generally which include words absorption and others and it also has an effect specifically toward words absorption only.

Abstract

This study covers 3 main problems, namely (1) the definition of verbs in Arabic and English (2) what are the similarities and differences between them (3) how to predict problems regarding verbs in Arabic. This study uses a qualitative study of literature. All data in this study were generated through the documentation method and to analyze the data researcher using a descriptive approach by comparing verbs in Arabic and English. And the results of this study indicate that verbs in Arabic and English are every word that indicates something that happened at a certain time. But between the two have similarities and differences. The similarities between the two are in the aspects of definition, sign, and division. The differences include division and marks. Verbs in Arabic are divided into 3, while in English are divided into 4. Verbs in Arabic and English also have different characteristics. The prediction of the problem about verbs in Arabic when teaching them to students is that verbs which have differences will be difficult for students to understand, while verbs that have similarities will be easily understood by students.

Abstract

The coordination of organization management in an institution had an important influence on the institution itself. But there were some cases still be found that related to an institution had not ideal organization management well. As my research did, I do in an institution that had not ideal organization management as well as should be. As one of the cased that was about a manager as the leader in the institution was still not had an organizational structure as clear yet. The manager only gave the oral division of duty to each member without made an organizational structure outline for them so it was made the position among leaders and members could not see. To analyze this cased The Researcher used a qualitative research approach with descriptive methods through interview and documentation techniques. This study discussed: 1) Management of organizing, 2) Problems in organizing at Islamic boarding schools in An-Nur Pakis Magelang.

Abstract

This paper discusses the competence of an Arabic teacher to improve student writing skills in Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Sunan Kalijaga, Kebon Jati, Larangan, Pamekasan. This study aimed to determine the extent of the influence of professionalism of an Arabic teacher in improving student's writing skills. In this study, the researcher used a quantitative method. While the process, the researcher has a source of data in the form of Imla learning process as well as the students involved in it. The method used to display the data is through questionnaires, observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of this study prove that teacher professionalism has an influence on improving student’s writing skills with a value of 0.321, the value is between 0.200 to 0.400 with a low interpretation.

Abstract

Learning Arabic in Indonesia has been going on for several decades, especially since the presence of Islam in Indonesian society. However, difficulties in understanding it still overshadow the majority of students and educators from various backgrounds, ranging from elementary, secondary, to tertiary levels. Many solutions are offered to overcome these difficulties, one of which is by changing the orientation of Arabic learning which initially leads to mastery of grammar to increase the ability of learners in the use of grammar as a means of communicating with Arabic that is good and accurate. This orientation change is realized by the preparation of various functional grammatical books that are applicable and can be adapted to the abilities, situations, and conditions of the learner. This study uses a type of R&D research with the Borg and Gall development model. The use of functional grammar material in this study provides an opportunity for learners to master Arabic more quickly and easily as evidenced by the value of -t table <-t count is -18,084 <-2,045.

Abstract

This study covers 2 main problems, namely, what are the types of interventions Mother language in speaking skills at the Arabic Language Center of al-Inayah Putri Islamic Boarding School Sumber Batu Pegantenan Pamekasan and what are the factors that influence these interventions. This study uses a qualitative approach and data sources in this study came from the leadership of the cottage, the head of the Language center and several Arabic language center’s students of al-Inayah Putri Islamic Boarding School Sumber Batu Pegantenan Pamekasan. The method used in data collection is observation, interview and documentation. While the method used in analyzing data is a descriptive method. The results of this study indicate that there are 5 types of mother tongue interventions in speaking skills at the Arabic Language Center, namely phonetic interventions, morphological interventions, grammatical interventions, semantic interventions, and repetitive interventions. Of all the factors that researchers examined previously, most of the factors that often occur are censorship weakness, language position, initial use pressure, mastery of the first and second languages, the nature of interventions inherited earlier, and lack of vocabulary retention.

Abstract

The inhibiting factor for students having difficulty in learning Arabic is that vocabulary mastery is still very limited, even though the vocabulary is an elementary language that must be mastered by foreign language learners including the Arabic Language. Therefore learning methods and strategies are very influential in the learning process and student's motivation to study. Learning strategies included in the design of domain learning technology. So the teacher in this school uses mind mapping strategies to solve the student's problem in mastering Arabic vocabulary. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative method. While the process, the researcher has a source of data from the mufradat/vocabulary learning process as well as the students involved in it. This paper discusses the implementation of learning technology (mind mapping strategy) to solve the problem of learning mufradat. And The results of this study prove that the mind mapping strategy help to improve mufradat mastery of the students and them following the learning process with pleasure.

Abstract

This paper discusses the errors that occur in writing hamzah letters and the factors that influence the errors in writing hamzah. This study aims to find an Error Analysis in writing hamzah that occurs in elementary students at An-Nasyi'in Islamic boarding school. In this study, researchers used qualitative research methods. In collecting data, researchers used instruments of observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the data used is the Error Analysis with three stages, namely, identification of errors, interpretation of errors, and correcting errors. The results showed that: First, errors in writing hamzah occur in six aspects, namely: writing hamzah at the beginning of a word, in the middle of a word, at the end of a word, writing hamzah over a letter, writing hamzah over nibrah, and in writing hamzah washal. The most common mistake is in writing hamzah at the beginning of a word; Second, the factors that influence the error in writing hamzah, namely: excessive generalization, lack of understanding the rules of writing hamzah, lacking in practicing the rules of writing hamzah.

Abstract

The focus of this study is to investigate the thinking of Islamic education figures who have an interest in learning Arabic. This study focuses on a work entitled "Ta'lim Al-" Arabiyyah Bi Tariqah Haditsah ". The significance of this study is how the design made by Gülen in his book for learning Arabic and are there implication and integration of his thinking with learning Arabic. Seeing that Gülen is an Islamic education figure who concerns education including Arabic learning. The method of this study is library research, in which the source of the data is taken from several kinds of literature. The approach of this study is the philosophical analysis-thinking of the figure. Gülen’s framework is a form of his concern in the world of education one of which was towards learning Arabic. Gülen designs the Arabic language learning model in a learning book called Ta’lim Al- “Arabiyyah Bi Tariqah Haditsah which contains a (modern) hadith model design. In his book, Gülen divides Arabic language learning into three levels, beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
