Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pelatihan perbaikan mutu bibit dan pupuk organik swakelola bertujuan memberikan solusi atas permasalahan dalam mengelola sampah. Solusi yang ditawarkan berupa menerapkan teknologi informasi sebagai perangkat publikasi, sosialisasi yang dilakukan secara masif kepada masyarakat dengan aplikasi edu-environment akan memberikan kemudahan informasi bagi warga untuk selalu mengelola sampah dengan baik. Perancangan teknologi informasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu permasalahan yang terdapat di masyarakat dan mengelola sampah serta menerapkan metode teknologi informasi agar memudahkan masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah tersebut. Kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2022 di Kelurahan Kebun Bunga Kec. Sukarami Kota Palembang. Metode yang digunakan berupa penyuluhan dan pelatihan dan menggunakan metode mix Method. Adapun tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian, yaitu penyuluhan aplikasi, pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM berupa pelatihan pengelolaan sampah melalui aplikasi Edu-Environment di Kelurahan kebun Bunga Kec. Sukarami Kota Palembang, disimpulkan bahwa untuk pengelolaan sampah dengan melalui aplikasi Edu-Environment ini dapat membawa peningkatan pada masyarakat dan tentunya memberikan pemanfaatan dalam mengelola sampah dan membuat sebuah aplikasi yang bisa digunakan dan di terapkan di masyarakat

Abstract

The principal as a manager has an important role in managing resources within the educational unit. The performance of educators is an important factor in improving the quality of education. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of managerial competence in improving the performance of educators in non-formal PAUD Serang Regency. The results showed a simple linear regression equation Y = a + bx, with a value of Y = 13.670 + 1.702X, which means the coefficient b is positive, this indicates that changes in educator performance (Y) are in line with changes in managerial competence (X). So the value of Y will increase if X increases, otherwise if X decreases then Y will decrease. The correlation coefficient value is 0.552 with the provision that the specified coefficient interval value can be concluded that the correlation between X and Y variables is strong. From the calculation of the coefficient of determination above, it is obtained from the value of 55.2% while the remaining 44.8% is influenced by other factors. The results of hypothesis testing showed that tcount value was greater than ttable, namely 19,325 > t table 7,739, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted so that it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence on the managerial competence of the PAUD head and the performance of educators in non-formal PAUD Serang district.

Abstract

Setelah melaksanakan beberapa kali  Penerapan pembelajaran kontekstual   dalam meningkatkan kemampuan Bahasa Indonesia. Hal lainnya  adalah peserta didik  dapat  mengikuti proses pembelajaran dengan rasa senang dan tertantang menyelesaikan setiap tugas yang diberikan kepada mereka sehingga semua materi dapat terserap dengan mudah dalam memori peserta didik. Hasil analisis observasi menunjukkan sikap  positif peserta didik lebih tinggi dari pada sikap negatif  yaitu sikap positif  93.5% sedangkan sikap negatif 6.5%. Jika melihat hasil analisis daftar isian angket peserta didik diperoleh data yang sangat signifikan dari sebelum dan sesudah proses pembelajaran, yaitu siswa mengisyaratkan pada hal yang positif terhadap penggunaan media gambar dalam pembelajaran pribahasa. Bukti bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik berada pada kategori baik tergambar jelas pada tabel 5 hasil analisis nilai tes peserta didik, yaitu memperoleh nilai rata-rata 89.33 atau nilai konversi 3,57 dengan nilai pembulatan 3.66 (predikat A).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the relationship between in learning motivation, learning discipline, and learning activity with the students learning achievement in the thematic lesson. This study used a quantitative approach with correlation research type. The sample of this amounted to 27 students. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire and documentation study. The analysis technique was carried out by using determine the relationship between in learning motivation, learning discipline, and learning activity on the students’s learning achievement using simple correlation analysis and multiple correlation. The results showed that there was a relationship between (1) learning motivation with the students learning achievement of 0,239 categorized as “low”, (2) learning discipline with the students learning achievement of 0,315 categorized as “low”, (3) learning activity with the students learning achievement of 0,310 categorized as “low”, (4) learning motivation and learning discipline with the students learning achievement of 0,337 are categorized as “low”, (5) learning motivation and learning activity with the students learning achievement of 0,384 are categorized as “low”, (6) learning discipline and learning activity with the students learning achievement of 0,340 are categorized as “low”, (7) learning motivation, learning discipline, and learning activity with the students learning achievement of 0,399 are categorized as “low”. Keywords: Learning Motivation, Learning Discipline, Learning Activity, Students’ Learning Achievement in the Thematic Lesson

Abstract

The Four-Square Writing Technique, sering dikenal sebagai FSWT, adalah pendekatan yang membantu siswa meningkatkan tulisan mereka, menghubungkan ide-ide mereka, dan mengatur pemikiran mereka. Selain itu, siswa diberi kesempatan untuk menggeneralisasi dan menggabungkan prinsip, fakta, dan pemikiran yang paling bermanfaat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan FSWT dalam menulis teks deskriptif siswa melalui pre-experimental design. Ke-25 partisipan tersebut dipilih secara purposive dari kelas 5-A di SDN Karangpuri 2 tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Pre-test dan post-test diterapkan untuk menguji hipotesis yang dirumuskan terhadap efektivitas FSWT pada keterampilan menulis teks deskriptif siswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t berpasangan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan menulis berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa karena tingkat signifikansi (dua sisi) lebih rendah dari alpha (0.02 < 0.05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa FSWT efektif dan menerima Ha sebagai data yang diperiksa. Hal ini tersirat bahwa FSWT sebagai teknik yang efektif untuk mengajar menulis untuk siswa kelas V dan dipengaruhi oleh tingkat kreativitas siswa. Dengan demikian, penelitian lebih lanjut dapat menerapkan pendekatan ini untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas FSWT di tingkat lain bidang Pendidikan dan genre teks lainnya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Role Play learning method on the mathematical connection of fourth grade students at SD Pomosda Tanjunganom Nganjuk. The research method used is quantitative, specifically quasi-experimental. The quasi-experimental was chosen based on the consideration that in the implementation of this research learning took place naturally, and students did not feel experimented. The subjects of this study were 30 Pomosda fourth grade elementary school students consisting of 13 girls and 17 boys. While the instruments used are documentation sheets, observation sheets, and test sheets. From this study, it was found that there was a significant increase in the results of the pretest and posttest. In the pretest the average value is 38, while in the posttest it is 74. For the N-gain result, 0.58 is included in the medium criteria. In the learning process, the avarge result is 79,4% which is good. The conclusion of this research is the role play method can improve mathematical connection in fourth grade students of SD Pomosda in learning mathematics. The role play method has been successful in elementary schools but not necessarily successful for higher levels. For this reason, research on the implementation of role play for learning Mathematics in secondary schools needs to be carried out.

Abstract

 Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Assolahiyah Kabupaten Karawang Provinsi Jawa Barat melalui satuan pendidikan nonformal melaksanakan Pelatihan kewirausahaan yang kreatif dan inovatif. PKBM Assolahiyah sebagai lembaga yang berkomitmen untuk memberdayakan masyarakat memiliki inovasi dalam pengelolaan usaha sebagai produk yang dapat mengangkat perekonomian masyarakat ke arah yang lebih baik. Pengelolaan unit-unit usaha yang terpusat di PKBM Assolahiyah memungkinkan masyarakat sekitar untuk lebih fokus dalam memaksimalkan potensi lingkungan alam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberdadyaan masyarakat melalui program pendidikan dan pelatihan Kewirausahaan di PKBM Assohaliyah melalui 3 tahapan yaitu perencanaan pendidikan dan pelatihan, pelaksanaan pendidikan dan pelatihan, dan evaluasi pendidikan dan pelatihan yang sudah berjalan dengan baik dan manfaat sudah dirasakan oleh kedua peserta untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikirnya. tetapi juga mampu meningkatkan taraf hidup mereka dengan menciptakan usaha mandiri baru. Selain meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi, mereka juga mampu mengubah pola pikir menjadi lebih kritis dalam memenuhi kebutuhannya dengan tidak selalu mengandalkan bantuan pemerintah.Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, Pengelolaan Program, Pendidikan dan Pelatihan KewirausahaanAbstractThe Center for Community Learning Activities (PKBM) Assolahiyah, Karawang Regency, West Java Province, through non-formal education units, carries out creative and innovative entrepreneurship training. PKBM Assolahiyah as an institution that is committed to empowering the community to have innovation in business management as a product that can lift the community's economy in a better direction. Management of business units that are centralized in PKBM Assolahiyah allows the surrounding community to focus more on maximizing the potential of the natural environment. The results showed that community empowerment through the Entrepreneurship education and training program at PKBM Assohaliyah went through 3 stages, namely planning education and training, implementing education and training, and evaluating education and training which had gone well and the benefits had been felt by both participants to improve their thinking skills . but also able to improve their standard of living by creating new independent businesses. In addition to increasing economic income, they are also able to change their mindset to be more critical in meeting their needs by not always relying on government assistance.Keywords: Community Empowerment, Program Management, Entrepreneurship Education and Training

Abstract

 Equipping soft skills to teach citizens to master digital-based financial management through digital-based financial literacy is an important strategy in improving equity education. This study aims to clearly describe how PKBM Ash-Shoddiq Lembang West Bandung Regency implements digital-based financial literacy training. In this study, descriptive method was used to obtain qualitative data from 10 respondents consisting of 5 academic residents, 3 teaching assistants, and 2 managers. The results showed that the implementation of digital-based financial literacy training began with the planning, socialization, and needs identification stages, followed by implementation using andragogical and participatory strategies using Microsoft Excel media. The results of the training showed an increase in understanding and knowledge in the main aspects of financial literacy.Keywords: Training, Financial Literacy, Digital. AbstrakMembekali soft skill untuk mengajarkan warga menguasai pengelolaan keuangan berbasis digital melalui literasi keuangan berbasis digital menjadi strategi penting dalam meningkatkan pendidikan ekuitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan secara jelas bagaimana PKBM Ash-Shoddiq Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat melaksanakan pelatihan literasi keuangan berbasis digital. Dalam penelitian ini, metode deskriptif digunakan untuk mendapatkan data kualitatif dari 10 responden yang terdiri dari 5 orang residen akademik, 3 orang asisten pengajar, dan 2 orang manager. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyelenggaraan pelatihan literasi keuangan berbasis digital dimulai dengan tahap perencanaan, sosialisasi, dan identifikasi kebutuhan, dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan menggunakan strategi andragogical dan partisipatif dengan menggunakan media Microsoft Excel. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan pengetahuan dalam aspek utama literasi keuangan.Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, Literasi Keuangan, Digital

Abstract

 This research started from the Lesson Study & PPL activity in class VI SDN 02 Agak, researchers found several problems in the process of learning activities of students in the classroom, namely (1) many students did not understand the content of the readings given. (2) the ability of students to answer questions is still below average. (3) student learning outcomes show that there are still many students who are not complete in solving the given questions. Based on the observations of researchers in the class, students have difficulty in reading understanding, this can be seen from the results of the tests carried out. A total of 16 students, only 4 students were completed. To overcome this, Class Action Research (PTK) was carried out using the SQ3R Learning Model (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) to improve students' reading comprehension skills. The end result of this study is to improve reading comprehension skills and improve student learning outcomes. This research procedure goes through three cycles, namely cycles I, II and III. Each cycle is carried out through four steps as stated by Kemmis and MC. Taggart is planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, tests and documentation. The data obtained are analyzed and reflected quantitatively and qualitatively descriptively. The results showed that the S3R Model can improve student learning outcomes. The success of students in this study can be seen from the average value of each cycle that has increased. Cycle I average value 68.75, cycle II 73.25 and cycle III 78.75. In addition, the level of student learning completion increases every cycle, cycle I of completed students is 7 people or 43.75%, cycle 2 is completed by 11 people or 68.75% and cycle III is completed by 15 people or 93.75%. Keywords: SQ3R Model, Reading Comprehension

Abstract

Educational human resources comprise of administrators, teachers, and support personnel. Educators are frequently overlooked in educational administration.  This study aimed to assess the impact of STIKes B's implementation of educational staff administration for the sound quality of education. This research used descriptive qualitative research methodologies. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicated that the management of educators and education personnel at the stages of planning, selection, orientation, appointment and placement, observation and assessment, compensation, and dismissal had been implemented, but not to the greatest extent possible. There are educators and educational personnel who lack the requisite expertise. The offered compensation is regarded as meager. Good human resource planning, providing educational human resource support, and human resource development through training, certification, observation, and equitable compensation are required to enhance the quality of education personnel.
