The chest pain which felt by the patients tend to require more urgent attention than the other symptoms. Objectives of the study was to determine the intervention effect of pharmacologi and nonpharmacologi to pain intensity decrease in coronary heart disease patients. This type of research was experimental, research design using quasi experiment. Sampling using total of sampling method. Analysis of data used was t dependent test. Results was show that there was a significant effect between intensity of pain before intervention to the intensity of pain after intervention. Conclusion, Intervention of nonpharmacologi and pharmacologi provide a positive and significant effect on pain intensity decrease.

In Klaten district from 2005 to 2008 maternal mortality rate has decreased. In 2005 AKI showed 0.61, by 2006 MMR decreased by 0.47, in 2007, maternal mortality was 1.31, while in 2008 rose to 1.33 in 2009 and decreased to 0.98 (Klaten District Health Profile , 2009). The study was experiment with a survey approach. The study design is one group pre test - post test. Result shows the knowledge level of pregnant women about the Maternal and Child Book in Health Center Ceper Klaten area in 2011 was moderate level before being given a book MCH 28 (56%).After reading the book, the majority of pregnant mother which is 45 (90%) have a high level of knowledge with significance of 0001 and the r value correlation is low (0.389). The knowledge of antenatal care before being given the book at moderate level account 29 (58%) and after being given KIA book, the majority of pregnant mother, 39 (70%) have a high level of knowledge with significance 0:00 and r value 0,441 that means the correlation was moderate.

Abstract

Abstract: Risk Factors, CHD. Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) is the coronary atherosclerotic disease that causes narrowing of blood vessels. Constriction of blood vessels occurs because of atherosclerosis or spasm or a combination of both. the risk factors of CHD were divided into two, namely the factors that can not be changed and the factors can be changed. Factors that can not be changed include age, family history and gender. While the factors that can be changed include an increase in serum lipids (hyperlipidemia), personality type, smoking, impaired glucose tolerance (diabetes mellitus), lifestyle is less activity (physical inactivity), psychological stress, and hypertension. The purpose of this study to determine the risk factors that lead to increased incidence of coronary heart disease. The study is an observational analytic epidemiologic approach with cross sectional design with a sample of 40 respondents. The data analysis using logistic regression. The results showed the significant influence of CHD events by a factor of age> 40 years (p = 0.7370, hyperlipidemia (p = 0162), hypertension (p = 0365), smoking (p = 0153), as well as physical inactivity (p = 0535 ). Smoking is a risk factor most dominant effect on the incidence of CHD with OR = 4,500. the case studies are necessary to further research with a number of larger samples and develop variable-varabel to be studied is associated with other behaviors and lifestyles that affect developing CHD.

Abstract

Abstract: Knowledge, Attitudes, Behaviors, Inos, Nurse. Nosocomial infections (inos) is an infection acquired during patient care in hospitals, infection is not in pain at the time of hospital admission and the patient is not within an incubation period of infectious diseases. The study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes to the behavior of nurses regarding the prevention of inos in the operating room of RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. Design used in this study was descriptive correlational cross-sectional approach. Sampling was carried out with total non-probability sampling, sample size of 30 respondents. There is a relationship between the level of the nurse’s knowledge about preventive behaviors inos with a probalility value of Spearman’s Rank correlation test for p = 0,024 is smaller than the probability p = 0,05. There is no relationship between nurse attitudes about preventive behaviors inos with a probability value of Spearman's Rank correlation test for p = 0.759 greater than the probability p = 0.05. There is a relationship between the nurse's knowledge about preventive behavior with inos. There is no relationship between attitudes to the behavior of nurses regarding the prevention of inos.

The study design used non-experimental research method : a comparative with retrospective or historical documentary approach. The samples were taken by using total sampling technique. The sum of the samples was 88 documents. They were taken from medical record documents. The statistic test used Chi square with significant value 0.05. The result of the study showed that there were differences between snake bite wound treatment with incision and without incision toward the decreasing speed of wound swelling at RSUD Pacitan in 2009 – 2011.

Abstract : Knowledge, Management, Nursing Care Application Of Cardiac Decompensation. This study is a non-experimental quantitative research using correlation descriptive method. Research subjects are nurses who provide nursing care in patients with cardiac decompensation. There are 22 people as respondents. the form of data collection is using questionnaire. The Data analysis techniques using the Rank Spearman. The results show the value of the bivariate analysis Rank Spearman formula that there is no correlation between nurse’s age with the nurse's knowledge about the management of the nursing care of patients with cardiac decompensation, shown as calculated values of rcount < rtable (0, 082 <.428). there is no correlation between level of a nurse's knowledge education about management of the nursing care of patient with cardiac decompensation shown as calculated values of rcount < rtable (0.290 < 0.428), there is no correlation between the long time of nurse working with the nurse’s knowledge about the management of nursing care of patients with cardiac decompentation, shown as the value of rcount < rtable (0.245 < 0.428), and there is a correlation between training program with the knowledge of nurse on the management of the of the patients nursing care with cardiac decompensation which is counted rcount < rtable (0.542> 0.428). There is a correlation between training factor with the nurses knowledge about nursing care management of patients with cardiac decompensation
