Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan nilai konstanta Wien dengan menggunakan virtual laboratory yaitu PhET Simulation. PhET merupakan rangkaian simulasi interaktif yang sangat menguntungkan dalam pengintegrasian teknologi komputer ke dalam pembelajaran atau eksperimen. Alat dan bahan yang digunakan pada eksperimen ini diantaranya yaitu laptop dan software PhET Simulation. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis data adalah dengan analisis regresi liniear  yaitu hubungan antara panjang gelombang dengan suhu. Semakin tinggi suhu maka panjang gelombangnya semakin kecil. Nilai konstanta Wien yang diperoleh sebesar 0,003 mK, dengan ralat relatif sebesar 3,4 %. Hal ini mendekati dengan nilai teori yaitu 0,029 mK dan membuktikan bahwa dengan menggunakan PhET Simulation sangat efektif untuk analisis eksperimen.

Abstract

This research aims to train students in designing projects to create products related to the concept of heat dan transfer material. This research is a classroom action research conducted systematically as an effort to improve the implementation of learning by doing innovative actions in the learning process using project based learning model. The results show that project based learning on heat and transfer material makes students trained in project design and making products related to heat and transfer. Student responses to project based learning developed have good categories, so it can be said to be effective to apply in learning.Keywords: project based learning, heat and transfer, creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to review the original knowledge of the community in the process of making the tile into scientific knowledge which is used as an additional teaching materials of Integrated Science lessons. The data were collected in Papringan Village, Kaliwungu District, Kudus District and Mayong Kidul Village, Mayong Sub-district, Jepara District. The research method is qualitative descriptive with data retrieval technique through observation and interview. The data obtained are then analyzed, verified, and reduced and then studied to scientific knowledge and interpreted to the concept of science in Integrated Science lesson. The results showed that the process of making tile made by the community can be interpreted into science knowledge and implemented in the learning of Integrated Science.

Abstract

Secara empiris,  pembelajaran inkontekstual selama ini telah melahirkan generasi teoritis. Faktanya, siswa dapat menggunakan peralatan elektronika, tetapi jika ditanya “Bagaimana  listrik dihasilkan?” Jawab mereka “tidak tahu.” Padahal mereka baru saja mendapatkan teori induksi elektromagnetik. Demikian juga pada saat siswa menggunakan kipas angin ketika merasa gerah, tahukah mereka komponen utama di dalam kipas angin ? Padahal sebelumnya telah mendapatkan materi Gaya Lorentz.  Ketidakseimbangan proses psikomotorik, kognitif, dan efektif sebagai individu pembelajar menyebabkan rendahnya kompetensi. Solusi problem klasik tersebut merupakan tantangan bagi guru. Memilih apatis atau dinamis. Pembuatan motor listrik dan pembangkit listrik tenaga angin adalah upaya dinamis agar pembelajaran lebih bermakna dan mengacu pada kecakapan hidup. Terbukti, para siswa justru paham lebih cepat. Bahkan, setelah pembelajaran siklus I dan II, salah seorang siswa IX G bernama Agung Nugroho, mengatakan bahwa “pembuatan motor listrik dan pembangkit listrik mampu membangun logika” dengan mimik puas. Hasil ulangan harian juga terbukti memuaskan, baik dilihat dari perolehan nilai maupun kualitas uraian jawaban siswa. Rata-rata ulangan harian dari sebelum siklus hingga siklus II hasilnya semakin baik. Secara kuantitatif, nilai rata-rata tes harian melebihi kriteria ketuntasan minimal yaitu 70  dan mayoritas siswa tuntas belajar yakni lebih dari 85%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the reality at Adiwerna Tegal 1 State Vocational School, that the results of learning the magnetic field class X TAV 3 have not achieved the expected results. The first daily test results were still low, still below the ideal classical completeness criteria set at 80%, and individual learning outcomes above KKM of ≥ 70 or individual absorption of 70%. The method in collecting data is a test technique used to measure students 'comprehension in the form of learning outcomes and observation techniques carried out collaboratively to record students' motivation in learning and to know the progress of the learning process from cycle to cycle. From the results of data analysis, it is stated that: 1) Initial conditions, that classical absorption power which is the learning outcomes of all students only reached 55.56% means that it is under the classical completeness that has been set at 80% (ideal conditions). 2). In Cycle 1, classical absorption reached 72.22% which means it was still under class completeness. 3). In Cycle 2, the classical absorption capacity reached 86.11% above the class completeness which was set at 80%. From the results of the study it can be concluded that there is an increase in motivation and learning outcomes of magnetic field material by applying the cooperative jigsaw type learning method to class X TAV 3 of Adiwerna Tegal 1 State Vocational School of the school year 2017/2018.

Abstract

This study aims to identify how the influence of cooperative Group Investigation (GI) with scaffolding models for students physics concept ability. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The sample in this study was carried out by cluster random sampling technique with a pretest posttest control group design. The instrument used in this study is concept ability test in a multiple choice form consisting of 15 questions. the first sample was the experimental class (X-1) treated by the GI learning model with scaffolding and the second class was the control class (X-2) given cooperative learning treatment type Group Investigation (GI) with the number of each class of 20 students. Data analysis technique uses descriptive quantitative with SPSS 22.0 For Windows. The value of pre-test and posttest for experimental class was 68.75 and 91.75 while pre-test and posttest scores for control class were 72.25 and 83.75 respectively. From the results of pretest-posttest data analysis using T-test (hypothesis) it was found that there was a significant effect of the use of cooperative learning by GI with sacffolding models on students' physics concepts ability. These results can be shown that the Experimental class has an achievement of physics concept ability value which is significantly higher than the control class.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui dampak penggunaan alat peraga gerak parabola terhadap pemahaman konsep gerak parabola, penelitian dilakukan secara kuasi eksperiment pada kelas  XI, di hasilkan kesimpulan bahwa  penggunaan alat peraga mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa kelas XI pada pokok bahasan gerak parabola. Hal ini didukung oleh peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa pada kelas eksperimen yang ditinjau dari akumulasi nilai seluruh kelas dan dari tiap indikator pemahaman konsep. Ditinjau dari ketujuh indikator pemahaman konsep, pada kelas eksperimen terdapat lima indikator yang mengalami peningkatan dalam kategori tinggi, yakni indikator menginterpretasi, mencontohkan, mengklasifikasi, menduga dan menjelaskan. Peningkatan pemahaman konsep ini sangat besar kemungkinanya karena dipengaruhi penggunaan alat peraga sederhana sebagai media pembelajaran pada kelas eksperimen.

Abstract

The phenomenon of students receiving learning materials from teachers using only lecture methods to make students less creative in thinking, learning and developing self-ability. So designed a study that can improve students' creative thinking ability. The learning model used is Project Based Learning with Lesson Study. The research instrument used was pretest-posttest with 8 questions analyzed using normality test and homogeneity test. Based on the t-test on the pretest-posttest value of the experimental class using Wilcoxon method obtained Asymp result. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0 <a= 0,05 so it can be concluded that there is influence of project based learning model based on Lesson Study on students' creative thinking ability. Then after the learning model is applied, the creative thinking ability of the students increases which initially less creative becomes creative. This is based on the Gain Test which shows the value of <g> 0.90> 0.70 means that students' creative thinking ability is included in the high category. In addition, the use of Lesson Study to support the implementation and success of learning of Project Based Learning students in the classroom. Therefore, the learning model of Project Based Learning is worth considering to be applied in school learning with other physics material.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of physics learning with the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach to improve student creativity. The research design used was a pre-experiment of one group pre-test and post-test, conducted on 23 students who were taking basic physics at the Universitas PGRI Semarang. The data was collected from the pre-test and post-test of student creativity and observation of the implementation of learning by lecturers and student activities. The creativity test results were analyzed using paired t-test and n-gain to calculate the improvement criteria. The results showed that physics learning with the STEM approach was effective in increasing the creativity of students with moderate criteria. Increased student creativity in basic physics learning with the STEM approach is supported by the implementation of learning as indicated by the activities of lecturers with good criteria and the activities of relevant students in good criteria.

Abstract

The background of this reseacrh is that almost all the senior High shool student tuhnk that Physics is difficult subject, so the students don’t enjoy theaching leraning procesi in class. To solve the problem, the writer aplied “ Jelajah Alam Sekitar” method optimally. The purpose of this research is to apply “JAS” method in Fluida matery to know how it can improve to the student’s activities in teaching learning process in class. It is in Action Reserach which two cycles. The location is in SMA Negeri 2 Ungaran and the subject is the students of XI IPA6 grade 2016/2017. The writer get the data from the observatio sheet, discussion sheet and kognitif score. The improvment of the students activities can be seen at grafic of cycle 1 and 2. The students activities in preparing the equipments and materials improves 13 % and the antusiasm of teaching learning processi and group discussion improve 7 %. The experiment improves 6% and the presentation of the students discussion improve 5 %. The cognitive score improves 5,8%. Classical mastering improves 6 %. From that analysis we can conclude that the students activites and the score of the student in Physic speially in Fluida concept can be improve by applying JAS method.
