Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance on a single weave that occurred on Jl.Niaga I - Jl. Yos Sudarso, Tarakan City. The performance is capacity, degree of saturation, speed, and travel time. With these performance parameters serve as based of planning in transportation infrastructure. The results of this study are also expected to provide recommendations to users, planners and policy makers in an effort to solve traffic problems, especially to reduce the delay that occurs in a single wave that occurred on Jl Niaga I-Jl. Yos Sudarso Kota Tarakan.

Abstract

Humans as users of transportation modes, of course, want the ability of vehicles that are able to carry as much cargo as possible and on the fastest trip. This condition often results in the vehicle carrying the maximum load even exceeding the carrying capacity. On this basis and to maximize the results of data collection in the form of traffic volumes and vehicle loads, it is necessary to attempt to check the load of vehicles or trucks passing through the road without causing queues and congestion. To that can be done using a dynamic weighbridge which utilize methods of Weigh In Motion (WIM). The WIM system is equipped with the ability to measure vehicle loads when the truck runs at a certain speed through sensors placed below the road surface. The results showed that the WIM prototype can measure the speed and weight of the vehicle running successfully, the measurement results of running vehicle loads have an average error of 14.9%.

Abstract

Tarakan City is a developing city for development where the city has undergone many developments so that it requires quality human resources in managing development. If human resources are able to manage development with good quality, it can be said to be successful in the development process. To improve the quality of a construction project, it is necessary to pay attention to the determination of workers with good quality, therefore before starting the construction of a construction project it is necessary to make a selection made by the contractor of the foremen workers which is important so that the foremen selected have good quality. So far, the discussion in Tarakan City is not yet known how the foreman's performance affects the quality of construction project work in Tarakan City.In this study, the type of research used is quantitative research using a Likert scale. Place and time of research in the Project for Improving the Quality of Slums in the Karang Rejo Area of Tarakan City. The data used is the foreman's performance data on construction projects in Tarakan City with the foreman's performance aspects seen are work ability, participation, work facilitation, bias, providing examples of experience on the quality of construction projects in Tarakan City. Supporting data from the internet, books and so on.The results obtained from this study are the indicators that most influence the quality of construction work in Tarakan City, namely the foreman's ability to read and understand working drawings, being able and skilled in doing his work, being able to organize materials. well and able to organize the tools well. able to solve problems that occur in the field.

Abstract

In orderTanjung Pasir is a coastal area located in the Mamburungan village, which is located at the very end of East Tarakan. In the Tanjung Pasir area, there are RT, one of which is RT 18. In this area most of the people make a living as fishermen and seaweed. Responding to this, researchers are interested in seeing the potential of the coast of the sand dune and how the forms of tourism management exist in the sand dune. In this study used qualitative research methods using a qualitative descriptive approach (Qualitative Descriptive). The location of this research is in the Mamburungan Village, Tanjung Pasir Village, Tarakan Timur District, Tarakan City, the survey was conducted several times, namely interviews in November and December 2019. The data collection stage used was that there were several techniques, namely Observation, Interview, Documentation, and Field Notes. . The data obtained are primary data, namely the results of direct interviews and the distribution of questionnaires to the community around the coastal area of Tanjung Pasir. In addition to primary data, there is also secondary data obtained from the internet and other sources. In this study, validation and rehabilitation were also tested. The results show that the potential of the ecosystem in the Tanjung Pasir area is very good and the sea conditions are also strategic for fishermen to be used as a place of livelihood by some local residents. The potential for tourism development is very good if done.

Abstract

Pembangunan sektor transportasi tidak terlepas dari proses perencanaan, di berbagai wilayah banyak dihadapkan oleh masalah yang timbul akibat tidak ditemukannya proses perencanaan yang sistematis dan integral. Proses perencanaan merupakan aspek penentu dalam keberhasilan pembangunan sektor transportasi, dalam tahap perencanaan transportasi diawali dengan tahap pemodelan transportasi. Pemodelan transportasi ditujukan untuk memprediksi jumlah serta lokasi kebutuhan akan transportasi. Kondisi Kabupaten Tana Tidung yang merupakan wilayah pemekaran dan baru berkembang memberikan peluang dan kesempatan bagi perencana untuk menata secara sistematis dan berkesinambungan pembangunan sektor transportasi yang belum dan tidak dapat dilakukan oleh berbagai wilayah yang telah maju dan berkembang di Indonesia saat ini. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam menggambarkan pola pergerakan transportasi di Kabupaten Tana Tidung adalah dengan Gravity Model. Hasil analisis menunjukkan pergerakan internal tebesar terjadi di Kecamatan Sesayap yang merupakan Ibukota Kabupaten, tepatnya di Tideng Pale dengan pergerakan sebesar 2.577 orang per hari. Secara umum pergerakan terbesar adalah (dengan asal-tujuan) Kecamatan Sesayap sebagai wilayah pusat pemerintahan dan perdagangan di Kabupaten Tana Tidung. Pola perjalanan pada masyarakat pada tiga Kecamatan lainnya di Kabupaten Tana Tidung juga menunjukkan hal yang serupa. Aksesibilitas yang masih rendah, jumlah penduduk yang relatif kecil, wilayah yang cukup luas, serta masyarakat yang bermukim secara menyebar dalam jumlah yang kecil, menjadi tantangan bagi perencana dan pengambil kebijakan untuk melakukan pengembangan dan pembangunan pada sektor transportasi di Kabupaten Tana Tidung.

Abstract

The plan to expand the service of the airport in the province of North Borneo will be executed in 2020 and 2030. The expansion planning would affect the routes and network existing of air transportation in the province of North Borneo. The change on route networks will affect to function and travel time between the existing routes. This study aims to determine the suitability of the existing condition of the airport in the form of the distance between theairport and the change of travel time due to changes in the function of the airports. The distance between the airport will be determined through the coordinate data of each airport and calculated using distance analysis based on Euclidean distance. The results are then drawn into the distance matrix. Travel time of each route includes the process of taking off, climbing,cruising, descending, approaching, and landing. Changing routes also affect the passenger travel time between cities. The result indicates that travel time and travel cost before and after changing on airport function bring some divergence.

Abstract

Establishing North Kalimantan as the 34th province in Indonesia with the provincial capital located in Tanjung Selor, Bulungan Regency, has influenced the pattern of transportation used by society between regions. Previously, most people traveled to Tarakan city by sea transportation because Tarakan is an island city and has a strategic role regionally as a National Activity Center (PKN) in North Kalimantan. Since January 2020, the North Kalimantan Transportation Service has permitted public transportation routes to Perum DAMRI Tanjung Selor Branch to serve three round-trips (pp) routes, namely: Tanjung Selor-Malinau (TGS-MLN), Tanjung Selor-Tana Tidung (TJS-KTT), and Malinau-Salang (MLN-SLG). This study aims to find the ideal fare for public transportation for people on the route, taking into account the Vehicle Operating Cost (VOC), the ability and willingness to pay (ATP and WTP) of DAMRI Bus users, as well as the user's willingness to pay. Pay more or WTP from Contingency Valuation (WTP-CV) if you get better service during the trip. The current single-trip DAMRI Bus fare is IDR 150,000.00 for the TJS-MLN/MLN-TJS route, the TJS-KTT/KTT-TJS route is IDR 100,000.00, and for the MLN-SLG/SLG-MLN route of IDR 50,000.00. The results of the study based on the VOC obtained one-time trip rates for each route, respectively: IDR 135,633.21, IDR 119,046.86 and IDR 35,186.00. The respondents' ATP analysis results obtained a one-time trip fare for each route in a row: IDR 142,994.05, IDR 119.747.47 and IDR 63.750.00. Meanwhile, respondents' WTP was obtained for each route: IDR 110,519.48, IDR 94,545.45, and IDR 39,107.14. The respondents' WTP-CV values were also obtained on each route, amounting to IDR 14,675.32, IDR 11,409.09, and IDR 8,303.57. Considering the captive rider as an economy class passenger and the benefits of the DAMRI Bus operator, the proposed tariffs for each route are IDR 130,000, IDR 110,000, and IDR 48,000.

Abstract

Pengembangan sarana dan prasarana di Kota Tarakan, menjadikan daya tarik masyarakat untuk bermukim khususnya di wilayah pesisir. Dimana wilayah pesisir menjadi tempat bermukim yang memiliki faktor-faktor yang menarik untuk dikaji. Prasarana dan sarana diwilayah tersebut akan diteliti untuk dikembangkan sehingga lebih dapat mensejahterakan masyarakat dalam memperoleh fasilitas dari pemerintah Kota Tarakan. Objek penelitian ini adalah kelurahan Selumit pantai yang berada di pesisir barat  Kota Tarakan propinsi Kalimantan Utara, dengan responden sebanyak 100 orang dan menggunakan metode Deskriptif untuk membahas data-data yang berhubungan dengan keadaan sebenarnya. Hasil yang diperoleh didapat 8 faktor yang terdapat dalam pengembangan sarana dan prasarana dengan 16 variabel di wilayah pesisir barat kota Tarakan.
