<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian sosiolinguistik ini adalah (1) memaparkan pilihan bahasa; (2)akulturasi budaya dalam pilihan bahasa, dan; (3) mengidentifikasi faktor penyebabkan pilihan bahasa pedagang etnis Tionghoa di Salatiga. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode simak dan teknik catat. Analisis data penelitian ini adalah analisis sosiolinguistis. Pemaparan hasil analisis data menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah, ditemukannya pilihan bahasa dalam tuturan pedagang etnis Tionghoa di Kota Salatiga. Pilihan bahasa tersebut meliputi variasi tunggal bahasa, alih kode, dan campur kode. Dalam pilihan bahasa tersebut ditemukan akulturasi budaya berupa adat istiadat dan kebiasaan yang dimiliki etnis Jawa. Akulturasi budaya tersebut muncul dalam variasi tunggal bahasa, alih kode dan campur kode. Faktor yang melatarbelakangi digunakannya variasi tunggal bahasa, yaitu situasi (tempat atau latar peristiwa tutur) dan partisipan dalam interaksi. Alih kode disebabkan oleh partisipan, situasi, dan isi wacana, sedangkan campur kode disebabkan oleh penekanan maksud, keterbatasan penguasaan kode, dan istilah yang lebih popular.Sociolinguistic research objectives are: (1) provide a choice of languages; (2)describe acculturation in a choice of languages, and; (3) identify the factors of cause of ethnic Chinese language options traders in Salatiga. The data collection methods and techniques refer to the note. The data analysis of this research is the analysis sosiolinguistis. Exposure data analysis using qualitative methods. Results of this research is the discovery of the choice of language in the speech of ethnic Chinese traders in Salatiga. The language options include variations of a single language, code switching and code-mixing. In the choice of such language is found acculturation in the form of customs and habits that are owned Javanese. Acculturation appears in single variation of language, code switching and code-mixing. Factors behind the use of a single variety of languages, namely the situation (a place or background speech event) and the participants in the interaction. Rather the code is caused by participants, the situation, and the content of the discourse, while the code-mixing caused by compression intent, limited mastery of the code, and terms that are more popular.]]>
