Abstract

Abstract:The Development of Learning Application of Nusa Tenggara Timur Multimedia Based Map. The rapid development of information and communication technologies has penetrated into many areas of life, including education in East Nusa Tenggara Province. Various ICT-based learning media has become an invaluable tool in learning activities in schools across the province. One to be applied is the use of learning applications map of East Nusa Tenggara which is currently used to support effective multimedia-based learning that consist of images, text, animation, and sound as a tool. In making the application, Adobe Flash CS3, Format Factory, as well as Adobe Photoshop CS3 were used. The functionality test results showed that Multimedia-based Learning application of East Nusa Tenggara Map have been successfully constructed by the authors. The application provides information about the general knowledge of districts in East Nusa Tenggara. Keywords: education, learning applications, east nusa tenggara, multimedia, adobe flash Abstrak: Desain Aplikasi Pembelajaran Peta Nusa Tenggara Timur Berbasis Multimedia. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang begitu pesat sudah merambah dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan termasuk bidang pendidikan. yang ada di Propinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur.  Berbagai media pembelajaran berbasis TIK telah menjadi alat bantu dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di sejumlah sekolah di NTT. Salah satu yang ingin diterapkan adalah penggunaan aplikasi pembelajaran peta Nusa Tenggara Timur (APPNTT) yang saat ini efektif digunakan untuk mendukung pembelajaran berbasis multimedia yang terdiri dari gambar, teks, animasi, maupun suara sebagai alat bantu. Dalam pembuatan aplikasi APPNTT ini digunakan Adobe Flash CS3, Format Factory, serta Adobe Photoshop CS3. Hasil pengujian fungsionalitas menunjukkan bahwa Aplikasi Pembelajaran Peta Nusa Tengara Timur Berbasis Multimedia (APPNTT) telah berhasil dibangun oleh penulis. Aplikasi Pembelajaran Peta Nusa Tengara Timur Berbasis Multimedia (APPNTT) memberikan informasi tentang pengetahuan umum kabupaten yang ada di Nusa Tenggara Timur Kata kunci: pendidikan, aplikasi pembelajaran, nusa tenggara timur, multimedia, adobe flash

Abstract

Teknologi pembelajaran terus mengalami perkembanganseiring dengan perkembangan zaman. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran sehari-hari kita sering jumpai adanyapemfaatan dari perkembangan Teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan, seperti yang sering dilakukan oleh guru ataudosen yaitu mengkombinasikan alat teknologi dalam peroses pembelajaran. Namun demikian, teknologi itu tidakhanya mendatangkan manfaat positif, melainkan juga akan dapat mendatangkan dampak negatif, perkembangan ilmupengetahuan dan teknologi berdampak positif dengan semakin terbuka dan tersebarnya informasi dan pengetahuandari dan ke seluruh dunia menembus batas ruang dan waktu. Dampak negatifnya yaitu terjadinya perubahan perilaku,etika, norma, aturan, atau moral kehidupan yang bertentangan dengan etika, norma, aturan, dan moral kehidupanyang ada pada masyarakat.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the use of gadgets, especially smartphones, which are increasingly popular among teenagers, especially high school students in Ruteng city. Using qualitative-descriptive research is considered suitable for smartphone use problems and their impact on social interaction. The Conclusion is (1) the use of smartphones has a positive impact, the presence of smartphones helps facilitating students to interact, the presence of smartphones makes the spectrum of communication or social interaction of students expanded; (2) the negative impact of smartphone use, declining quality of communication and direct face-to-face interaction; (3) in relation to school, smartphones make it easier for students to interact with their peers such as discussing certain assignments or subject matter. Space and time barriers can be overcome by interaction through social media such as WhatsApp and Facebook. (4) Excessive use of smartphones also negatively affects students learning. As admitted by students themselves that the functions offered by smartphones often make students complacent and ignore their responsibilities in learning and completing school assignments.

Abstract

The 4.0 industrial revolution era requires teachers to have a number of characteristics to arrange an appropriate learning administration, be able to design learning media by utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) devices wisely, effectively, competently and professionally. However there are still many problems that hamper the implementation of teacher professional competence in the field of ICT. This study aims to determine whether there is a positive or significant effect between the use of ICT devices on improving teacher professional competence. This type of research is correlational with a quantitative approach. The population of this study were35 elementary school teachers. Data were collected through questionnaire technique. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between the use of ICT devices on increasing the professional competence of group of Elementary School Teachers, with 0.60correlation coefficient. T test results show that tcount>ttable which is 4.31> 2.235. The contribution of ICT tools use to the improvement ofprofessional competence of group of elementary school teachers at Ruteng is 36.05% and 63.95% is influenced by other variables which were not examined by researchers.

Abstract

This paper was conducted to examine the role and strategy of NGOs in the socio-economic empowerment of communities in Manggarai Regency. This study was motivated by concerns about poverty which have become an acute problem in this area. Although various types of government social assistance programs continue to be rolled out and the development paradigm has shifted from a centralized to a decentralized system, the poverty rate remains relatively high. In the midst of this condition, the presence of NGOs is an alternative option and hope. The research used qualitative approaches and case study methods. Data collection was done through interviews and document studies. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman models which consist of data display, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that NGOs in Manggarai Regency has carried out the role of community empowerment in the socio-economic field. The strategies developed by NGOs generally include (1) group-based approaches, (2) changing ways of thinking, (3) participation and capacity building, (4) institutional strengthening for long-term independency. While the challenges encountered by NGOs in carrying out their roles were: (1) minimal capacity of NGO personnel, (2) the lack of institutional capacity in analyzing situations and needs, (3) wrong mindset of society and (4) partnerships with governments that are too bureaucratic..

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi membawa efek bagi semua bidang seperti salah satunya pada bahasa. Pembelajaran berbahasa yang santun dengan menggunakan variasi khusus program macromedia flash akan menjadi suatu pembelajaran yang berbeda, dengan variasi gambar, animasi, audio dan gerakan pada gambar sehingga membuat pembelajaran kesantunan pada anak usia dini menjadi lebih menarik. Pembelajaran berbasis multimedia berisi konten-konten pembelajaran kesantunan berbahasa mengenai cara menghormati dan menghargai, berkata jujur,memberi pujian, memberi sapaan dan salam, memberi komentar, memberi rasa simpati, meminta maaf, menggunakan bahasa non verbal, semua ini disajikan dalam bentuk animasi sehingga siswa PAUD akan lebih tertarik pada proses pembelajaran kesantunan berbahasa.

Abstract

The problems of this research are first, students in elementary school got the low learning outcomes for social studies and second, the learning process is still dominated by the monotonous lecture method. This study aims to determine the application of problem solving methods that can foster students' thinking, involve students to solve their own problems in the learning process, and generate confidence in students, especially in social studies lessons.The type of this research is literature review. The data used in this study were taken from the results of previous research on the application of problem solving methods to improve social studies learning outcomes for elementary students.Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the application of problem solving methods in social studies learning could improve social studies learning outcomes for elementary students. Based on the conclusions above, it is recommended for prospective teachers to further examine the factors that cause students' low social studies learning outcomes. For teachers, they should motivate the students more in learning and getting to know more about the importance of applying problem solving methods to find out other factors that cause students' low social studies learning outcomes.
