Abstract

The novel is a literary work in the form of prose. There are many titles novel that has been print, one of them novel sinking Van der Wijk. Novel research novel tengelamnya ship Van der Wijk aims to describe the story of the novel is may affect the reader students SMPN 1 padalarang. This research was performed using the qualitative methods and techniques research include the stage of data collection, data analysis, the presentation of the data and withdrawal conclusion. Source of data obtained the form of the primary data (tengelamnya ship Van der wijck) and secondary from other sources. Research has a crucial role in providing feedback to readers. From the results showed that the aspects of educational value sinking Van der wijcksebanyak 57.3%, this indicates that readers novel sinking Van der Wijk give appreciation to refer to the contents of the story very reasonable. The second aspect of the figure of figures tengelamnya ship Van der wijck with the result is 50,6% indicating that the respondents average like to figure novel sinking Van der wijck, while aspects of the third called aspect of the events that occurred with the result are 40.66%. Of the three aspects can be concluded that the novel sinking Van der Wijk quite interesting.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan perbedaan hasil menulis esai antara kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen melalui strategi permainan catalisting yang berorientasi pada kecerdasan linguistik pada mahasiswa tingkat III di STKIP Siliwangi Bandung. Desain penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen (Quasi Experimental Design) dengan menggunakan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa strategi permainan catalisting yang berorientasi pada kecerdasan linguistik pada mahasiswa tingkat III di STKIP Siliwangi Bandung terbukti efektif, baik dari segi pembelajaran maupun proses pembelajaran. Secara rinci dijelaskan sebagai berikut, (1) Nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 76,39 sedangkan kelas kontrol nilai rata-ratanya adalah 70,31. Hasil uji statistik menunjukan nilai signifikasi pada uji independent t test nilai sig. 0, 03 < 0,05 maka ada perbedaan di antara nilai kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Dengan kata lain Ho ditolak, Ha diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar menuls esai antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. (2) Hasil respons tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan strategi permainan catalisting yang berorientasi pada kecerdasan linguistik dalam pembelajaran menulis esai menunjukkan respons yang baik, yaitu sebanyak 91,81% (32 mahasiswa) memberikan respons positif sedangkan 8,19% (3 mahasiswa) memberikan respons negatif. (3) pembelajaran menulis esai dengan strategi PC-KL lebih menyenangkan dan memudahkan mahasiswa dalam mencari ide sebuah tulisan.Kata kunci: Strategi catalisting, kecerdasan linguistik, pembelajaran, menulis esai

Abstract

Writing of literature will be more interesting when combined with intrinsic elements that can attract the interest of readers in various circles, be it children, teenagers, adults, and parents. Analysis of this novel aims to describe the intrinsic elements contained in the novel Menggapai Matahari by Dermawan Wibisono. The data source used in this research is the novel Menggapai Matahari by Dermawan Wibisono. The method used is qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study indicate that the novel Menggapai Matahari by Dermawan Wibisono there is a theme that is a child trying to restore the confidence of his mother, a pareatif figure, using a forward flow, with the background place, time and atmosphere. The point of view that is used is the first person the main actor and there is a mandate to keep the parents brightening and the mandate contained in the novel Reach the Sun by Dermawan Wibisono is to always distrust to anyone except to God.

Abstract

Language and Art literature when combined with other arts such as musical instruments, will make a work of art that has a high aesthetic value. Although the work has become mixed art because of the form of poetry sung or song lyrics. By using the media in the form of art, it is expected that the learning objectives can be treated well. Researchers use the object of research in the form of song lyrics. The purpose of this research is to know the language or the selection of words used on the lyrics of the band's shaky receptive band. The reason for taking the title, because the language aspect is one of the most important elements used by poets in literary arts as in the literary works of poetry. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Assessment of the objects of this study using analytical techniques with data collection techniques, using literature research techniques. The data analysis technique begins by reading all the lyrics of the song to be analyzed, then finding the choice of word or diction choice contained in the lyrics of the song. Next understand the meaning of the song lyrics, then last make a conclusion. The researchers got the result that there are some diction used in the lyrics of the song shrill umbrella shade, including: In the rain and dark night, But I can not see your eyes, Among the deciduous leaves, Wobbles of the wind, waiting for the body.

Abstract

Electronic learning system or better known as e-learning (electronic learning) is a learning program designed using web-based computer networks and the internet. The use of this system in Indonesian tertiary institutions continues to grow annually. One reason this system continues to evolve is that it is considered effective for distance learning and can help a wider area with more students. Besides, the system causes students and teachers not to use a protocol system that shows its rigid nature. Lectures run more flexibly by sticking to the final results already listed in the curriculum. To measure the level of success of a learning process evaluation is needed. One type of evaluation that can be used is authentic assessment. This assessment involves all the processes carried out in each lecture activity starting from the process, attitude, results. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results obtained were 86.21% of students actively involved in the lecturing process. For assignment grades, 31.03% of students received an Excellent grade (SB), 65.52% received a good grade (B). For the UTS score, the highest value obtained in the Good criteria (B) is 52.72%. The rest are in the Fair (C) and less (K) criteria. For UAS, the highest score depends on the Good criteria (B) 65.52%, while the rest depends on sufficient criteria and requires improvement. From the results of these data, it is evident that e-learning lectures require additional evaluations for each meeting, periodic checks, and fast responses to complaints expressed by students both related to teaching materials and those related to the system. Keywords: Authentic Assessment, Writing Scientific Papers, E-Learning

Abstract

This study aims to compare the results of offline and online learning methods based on the analysis of student learning scores. The method used in this research is a quantitative comparative study. Data collection was carried out after the offline and online learning processes were completed in different semesters. The research location is at Widyatama University. The research sample of first-year students for the 2019/2020 academic year was 36 students and the first-year students of the 2020/2021 school year were 29 students. The total sample is 77 students. The sample selected is level one because the subjects that are the object of research are at level one. The data used as research are the results of the student learning process in Indonesian language courses in the form of scores: 1) attendance, 2) task results, 3) UTS, and 4) UAS. This research was conducted by taking data on the results of the four components above during offline learning in 2019 and data on the results of scores during the online learning process in 2020. The data were analyzed by comparison using the SPPS test. The results obtained from this study are that there is a difference in the average passing grade between offline and online learning with a difference of 06.92 in value. Based on these results, it can be concluded that offline lectures produce higher lecture scores than online lectures.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengetahuan dan keterkaitan literasi budaya dengan pengembangan karakter atau nilai sikap yang dimiliki seorang anak. Media literasi budaya yang digunakan adalah permainan tradisional. Adapun permainan tradisional yang diajarkan pada anak dalam penelitian ini adalah maen kaleci , salam sabrang, endog-endogan, boy-boyan, luncat tinggi, congklak, dan ucing sendal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pengukuran sikap melalui skala likert. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Cibadak 03, Kecamatan Baleendah, Kabupaten Bandung. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 5 sebanyak 44 anak. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan literasi budaya khususnya yang terkait permainan tradisional dengan pengembangan nilai sikap dan karakter anak.; 2) nilai sikap dan karakter yang diperoleh anak dari literasi budaya dengan media permainan tradisional adalah jujur, tanggung jawab, gigih, toleransi, kerjasama, percaya diri, kreatif, dan disiplin. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah literasi budaya yang terkait dengan permainan tradisional bisa dijadikan salah satu alternatif dalam pengembangan nilai sikap dan karakter anak. Abstract

Pada era pandemi covid, permainan Ucing-ucingan tidak lagi dimainkan padahal permainan tersebut memiliki fungsi penting bagi perkembangan motorik, kognitif, bahasa, dan afektif anak. Tujuan artikel ini menawarkan permainan Ucing Corona yang merupakan modifikasi dari permainan Ucing-ucingan yang cocok dimainkan pada era adaptasi kebiasaan baru. Ucing Corona dikembangkan melalui perspektif ilmu folklor dan transformasi. Ucing Corona diciptakan melalui tahapan identifikasi pola permainan, identifikasi irisan permainan, dan transformasi permainan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan adaptasi kebiasaan baru. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan struktur permainan Ucing Corona dan fungsinya. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan alternatif permainan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan adaptasi kebiasaan baru.Kata kunci: adaptasi kebiasaan baru, folklor, modifikasi, Ucing Corona.
