Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the mother's level of awareness about the pathology of pneumonia and the duration of breastfeeding under five with the incidence of pneumonia in DR. M.A. Hospital Hanafiah. This research is a retrospective analytic descriptive study with a cross-sectional design. The results showed that mothers' awareness of pneumonia was lower by 71.8%, they breastfed their babies for less than six months (71.8%), and more than two-thirds of children under five (76.9%) were diagnosed with pneumonia. Furthermore, statistical analysis significantly correlated the mothers' awareness of pneumonia and the duration of breastfeeding they performed on their children with pneumonia. The conclusion is that the mother's understanding of pneumonia has a linear effect on the incidence of pneumonia in infants and toddlers. The duration of breastfeeding has a significant impact. We assume that non-exclusive breastfeeding in infants stimulates underweight and immunological disorders that accelerate the incidence of pneumonia. Abstract

The situation underwent a long hospitalization can make children depressed and stressed. In these circumstances children tend not to cooperate so that quick-tempered, cranky and generally become difficult to face. In early studies in hospitals Solok found of 9 children, 3 children crying, 5 children closer to parents, and 3 of them did not want to answer the questions the nurse when performing the action. The purpose of this research is to know is there any relationship between the provision of play therapy with telling techniques of the level of cooperative pre-school age children in Pediatric of Regional Public Hospital Solok. This research is a quantitative approach to quasi experimental design involving pre-school aged children as many as 15 children are given play therapy with the technique of telling stories and 15 children not given play therapy with the technique of storytelling. Measuring instrument in the form of guidelines for observation and analysis used were paired t test. Of the 15 children not given play therapy with telling techniques most uncooperative even as many as 80% and the cooperative is only a fraction as many as 20%. Meanwhile of the 15 children who were given therapy plays only a small part of a cooperative is not as much as 33.3% and a cooperative of more than half as many as 66.7%. From the statistical test results obtained value p value = 0.014 where p-value <α (0.05), then Ho is rejected with the conclusion there is a connection with the provision of play therapy techniques to tell the level of cooperative children who were hospitalized. It can be concluded that the granting of play therapy with the technique say more influential than play therapy is not given in creating cooperation among children being treated. The researcher recommends for further research in the field of nursing in order to continue research on the factors associated with the cooperative attitude of children in care in child care spaces.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the target of herd immunity/(herd immunity) is 70% in accordance with the characteristics of the spread of Covid-19. The development and discovery of the Covid-19 vaccine as well as minimal public compliance raises the issue of "herd immunity. The purpose of this community service is to increase public knowledge about the delivery of the COVID-19 vaccine. From the field survey data, it was found that 88% of the residents of Aur Kuning Village on average had a bad attitude about PHBS in the New Normal Era, and were not willing to be vaccinated to prevent Covid-19 transmission. Furthermore, observation and interview data for three families (Heads of Families) in the Aur Kuning sub-district also knowledge about the Covid-19 vaccine is still not good, people think that vaccines are not effective in preventing the transmission of Covid 19, and there is no information regarding the Covid-19 vaccine given to them. Public. This made the community service team interested in providing an explanation about Herd Immunity (herd immunity) in administering the Covid-19 vaccine and also the head of the village at that time asked the Community Service Team of the Perintis Indonesia University to provide counseling about administering the Covid-19 vaccine in the Guguk Panjang Health Center Work Area. Aur Kuning Village, Bukittinggi. The method used in this service is to provide counseling about the importance of the Covid-19 vaccine by means of lectures, discussions, and questions and answers. The results of this activity obtained that the majority of participants were aged around 30 to 60 years, the majority of which were high school education. After conducting health education about the Covid-19 vaccine, there was an increase in public knowledge about the importance of the Covid-19 vaccine. It is recommended that after this service the community is willing to carry out the Covid-19 vaccine and still pay attention to health protocols Keywords: Herd Immunity, Covid-19 vaccine
