Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis fisika peserta didik kelas XI-IPA3 di SMAN 1 Watubangga dengan mengimplementasikan model Creative Problem Solving. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan melalui dua siklus pembelajaran. Subyek yang diteliti merupakan seluruh peserta didik kelas XI-IPA3 di SMAN 1 Watubangga pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019, terdiri dari 38 orang peserta didik. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan adanya peningkatan rerata hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kritis fisika pada peserta didik di dalam dua siklus pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan, ketuntasan kemampuan berpikir kritis fisika peserta didik secara individu dan klasikal mengalami peningkatan yakni 63% pada siklus I menjadi 87% pada siklus II, dan aktivitas belajar peserta didik juga menunjukkan peningkatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan penguasaan konsep peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPA, mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan proses sains pada pembelajaran IPA, dan mendeskripsikan ketuntasan belajar peserta didik  pada pembelajaran IPA pada materi pokok cahaya dan alat optik kelas VIIID SMP Kartika XX-6 Kendari yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery; Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang telah dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIIID SMP Kartika XX-6 Kendari tahun ajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 26 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian ini adalah data penguasaan konsep yang diperoleh dari tes penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan proses sains yang diperoleh dari lembar observasi. Analisis data yang dilakukan statistik deskriptif. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh: 1) nilai rata-rata penguasaan konsep peserta didik pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata yaitu 70,07 dengan standar deviasi 9,34 sedangkan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata penguasaan konsep peserta didik yaitu 77,50 dengan standar deviasi 5,55; 2) presentase aspek keterampilan proses sains pada siklus I yaitu 50,55% dengan kategori cukup sedangkan pada siklus II yaitu 73,41% berada pada kategori  baik; 3) presentase ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal peserta didik pada siklus I sebesar 57,92 % sedangkan pada siklus II sebesar 76,69 %, sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran discovery terhadap keterampilan proses sains dan penguasaan konsep peserta didik kelas VIIID SMP Kartika XX-6 Kendari Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 .

Abstract

Permasalahanyang dikaji pada  penelitian ini adalah seberapa besar peningkatan hasil belajar fisika siswa dengan  penerapan strategi elaborasi PQ4R, dan seberapa  efektif strategi PQ4R terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar fisika siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-test dan Post-test group design. Adapun sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII-3 SMP Negeri 7Sinjai yang berjumlah 32 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah tes hasil belajar fisika. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial menggunakan uji-t. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan hasil belajar fisika siswa sebelum penerapan strategi elaborasi PQ4R  termasuk dalam kategori rendah dengan rata-rata 40,7% dan hasil belajar fisika siswa termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi setelah penerapan strategi elaborasi PQ4R dengan rata-rata  84,05%. Hasil analisis statistik inferensial dengan uji-t diperoleh  thitung = 18,04, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa thitung>ttabel   yakni 18,04>2,07 sehingga Ho ditolak. Jadi penerapan strategi elaborasi PQ4R efektif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar fisika siswa. Kata Kunci:  strategi elaborasi, PQ4R, hasil belajar

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the students' mastery of straight motion concepts after learning using a cognitive conflict approach in class X SMK Negeri 2 Watubanggal. The research method used is a case study. The population in this study were all class X students of SMKN 2 Watubangga who were registered in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The sample in this study were 23 students of class X in the automotive department who were taken using purposive sampling method. The data were obtained from documentation and concept mastery diagnostic tests in the form of multiple choice tests with open reasons. The results showed that the percentage of the number of students on the mastery of physics concepts in straight motion material after learning were: for understanding the concept category was 48.9%, the misconception category was 19.7% and did not understand the concept category was 31.4%.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the Bajo’s local wisdom in preservation sea and coastal area in the form of teaching material in the Basic Natural Science (BNS) focused on environment preservation. The type of research is research and development. Teaching material is arranged based on the principle and procedures of developing a 4-D model, there are: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Teaching material draft validated by two matter experts, one language experts, and one design expert. Teaching material draft tried to the Language and Literature Education students with 10 people in the small group and 40 people in the large group. The average validation results were 83.73% (very good) and did not need revision. Revised sections: cover, image source, chapter display, and change the unsuitable image. The small group student trials result obtained 80.68% (good) and large groups obtained 82.95% (good). The implication of this research is as an alternative solution to maintain and enhance the local wisdom value of the Bajo’s in preserving the sea and coast through teaching materials.

Abstract

This research was based on the mismatch between the expectation of learning and the study result of IPA on Junior High School. That is why it needs efforts to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process by developing the learning instruments, which are eligible with the mean of IPA and the Graduation Competency Standard on Junior High School. The research purposed to describe the eligibility and effectiveness of the learning instrument of IPA on Junior High School, which is developed in the oriented inquiry by the virtual laboratory to practice the student's science process skills. The research is the development research that adapts the Kemp model. The development of learning instruments such as lesson plans, student worksheets, and assessment sheets. The research subject is the students of class 7 and 8, IX grade on Junior High School 5 Kendari. The implementation planning in-class uses one group pretest and post-test design and data analyzed descriptively. The research results are the learning instruments are eligible to be used, suitable student worksheets, and the student's handbook shows that the content and appearance are interesting. The lesson plan did well, and the majority of students' activity is how to solve a problem. The completeness of the results of the study are well done. Character attitude and social interactive are good. Students' response fir the learning is positive. The summarize of IPA, which is developed, is effective in practicing the science process skills for Junior High School students.

Abstract

The rampant land-use change in Konawe Selatan District and the uncontrolled use leads to disaster and environmental stability effect, consequently, mapping the area function is important for controlling land-use activities to reduce the risk of disaster. Therefore, this study aims to determine the direction, distribution, and effective area of the function of forests, settlements, and rice fields. This study used a regional survey with a quantitative approach. Base map data of administrative, slope class, soil type, rainfall, and land-use obtained from the regional planning agency and SAS Planet were used and analyzed with quantitative descriptive analysis overlayed with scoring. The result showed that the direction of area functions was dominated by limited production forests by 50.05% while the distribution of protected forest function was spread across 14 sub-districts with limited production forests in all sub-districts, production forests in 17 sub-districts, settlements in 21 sub-districts, and rice fields in 9 sub-districts. Furthermore, the effective area shows that all area functions are accordance with the directions, except for rice fields which took over the function of forest while the effective area controlled by the regional planning shows that all area functions need correction following the regulation of the Minister of Agriculture of Indonesia. Areas which do not accordance with the function need to be evaluated, hence, regional planning is required to be revised by the people's representative in Konawe Selatan. Abstract

The study aims to improve the learning outcomes in the field of knowledge and inquiry skill in class VIII 5 SMP Negeri 14 Kendari on the subject matter of light in atmosphere as the effect of applying the guided inquiry learning model assisted by science KIT. The method of the study used a classroom action research with research design is cycle model. The research subject is the students of class VIII 5 SMP Negeri 14 Kendari in the academic year 2016/2017 which consist of 26 students. The learning data achievements of the learners' realm were obtained through the learning result test (cycle test), the skill data of the learners were obtained through the inquiry sheet, and then was analyzed used the descriptive statistics. Results of data analysis are: 1) learning outcomes increased from 60,31 in cycle I to 75 in cycle II; 2) the students group inquiry skill increased form average value 2.68 (enough category) in the cycle I to 3.15 (good category) in cycle II; 3) the students mastery learning percentage increase from 42.31% (11 students) in cycle I to 77% (20 students) in cycle II. It could be concluded that the implementation of guided inquiry learning model assisted by science KIT could improve the learning outcomes of knowledge and inquiry skill domain on Class VIII 5 SMP Negeri 14 Kendari in the subject matter of light in atmosphere. Abstract

Covid-19 Pandemic has changed our education system, especially on practicum activity. This study aims at developing a virtual laboratory system using EWB and Zoom Cloud applications in a valid, practical and effective dynamic electricity practicum as a practical solution during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this study is a modified Research and Development (RD) method consisting of identification of potential and problems, data collection, data for development, product design (draft I), validation, design revision, draft II, limited scale trial, product revision 1, draft III, broad-scale trial, product revision 2, and the final product. The trial sample in this study was class X students of SMK Negeri 2 Kendari in the Electrical Power Installation Engineering department the eligibility criteria with an internal consistency coefficient of 0.92 for the material and 0.84 for the media. After going through a validation test, the product developed is then tested on a limited and wide scale. From the results of trials on a limited scale, is was obtained that regarding the practicality value of the product 54.55% students’ responded “very support” and the rest 45.45% responded “support”, while in a large-scale trial of 77.50% students agreed on "very support” response, and 22.50% gave a “support” response. The effectiveness of the product is seen from the student's response and the classical completeness score where 100% of the students gained a practicum score of 75. Therefore, it can be concluded that Virtual Laboratory can be utilized as a learning solution during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMK Negeri 2 Kendari.
