Abstract

Research are what is the form of interference Kailinese into Indonesian at General Election Commissions, Sigi regency? And what are the causes of interference Kailinese into Indonesian?. The type of research is qualitative by using descriptive method, recording technique, field notes, observation and interview. Data analysis technique used interactive analysis. The interference of Kailinesse into Indonesian in General Election Commissions involved form and factor causing interference. Researcher found the distribution of interfeence in the field of phonology, morphology, and syntax. Interference phonological forms found additional vocal phoneme /a/i/u/e/o/ at the end of the word, it called the language vocalist and busting phoneme /h/ at the beginning of the word and at the end of the word also have disappearance phoneme /k/p/t/n/ and replacement of the vocal phoneme /e/ to phoneme /a/ and phoneme /i/ to phoneme /e/ in the middle of the word. Inteference morphology include the prefix {mo-} compatible with prefix {ber-} in Indonesia, suffix {i-} compatible woth suffix {kan-} in Indonesian, whereas interference syntactic has found the use of clauses in sentences that deviate from the structure of Indonesian rule. Moreover, factors that affect the occurrence of interference, namely; (1) background speakers, (2) lack of vocabulary, (3) less skillful use of language, (4) the prestige of the source language, and (5) because of habits in the mother tongue.

Abstract

This research intends to 1) describe representation form of power in directive speaking action on Indonesia Lawyer Club Talk Show TV One, 2) describe representation function of power in directive speaking action on Indonesia Lawyer Club Talk Show TV One. Method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data of this research was directive speaking action of moderator and interviewees on Indonesia Lawyer Club which include representation of power. Data were collected through open securitize speaking involvement with basic technique of take a note. Data were analyzed through several stages such as: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The result of this research reveals 1) speech of moderator and on Indonesia Lawyer Club Talk Show TV One shows the existence of representation of power in directive speaking action in form of giving order, forbidding, giving advice, questions, inviting, requesting, and stating, 2) speech of moderator and on Indonesia Lawyer Club Talk Show TV One shows the existence of representation of function power in directive speaking action in form of giving order, forbidding, giving advice, questions, inviting, requesting, and stating. Power used by the moderator and speaker are legitimate power, coercive power, reward power, and expert power.

Abstract

This study describes the use of printed teaching material and audio visual learning in children's literature in elementary school. The problems studied are (1) How is the use of children's story teaching material as an alternative media for learning literature on children in class VI in SDN 13 Labuan? (2) How is the effectiveness of story teaching material for children as an alternative media on literature instructional on children in grade VI at SDN 13 Labuan?. The research aims to describe the use of teaching material and describe the effectiveness of children’s story teaching material as an alternative media on literature instructional on children in grade VI at SDN 13 Labuan. The method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection covering observation, interview, and written test. The data analysis was begun with data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. The research findings show that the use of teaching materials as an alternative media on literature instructional is printed teaching material or local story book and audiovisual teaching material as an alternative are effective. Based on the evaluation, score number of audiovisual media use is 1462 with the average 86 and achieved 82.3% while the use of printed teaching material got score 1436 with the average 84 and achieved 76.4%. The results were obtained from 17 students at SDN 13 Labuan who all students stated passed as the satndard of minimum achievement criteria required in the school. Therefore, it can e concluded that the use of children’s story teaching material through printed teaching material and audiovisual teaching material as the alternative media on literature instructional of the children in grade VI at SDN 13 Labuan are effective to use especially on literature instructional of the children based on the results of the students’ outcomes who achieved minimum achievement criteria.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is how the use of diction and style of language in Tengku Hanan Attaki religious lecture? This study aims to describe the use of diction and style of language in religious lectures Tengku Hanan Attaki. The type of research used in this study is qualitative research and the method used in this research is descriptive method. Sources of data in this study comes from a video lecture Tengku Hanan Attaki religious residing in social media Youtube. Techniques used in data collection is a technique refer and note. Instruments in this study is a laptop to listen to religious lectures and stationery to record. Data analysis techniques in this study follow three stages, namely (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) drawing conclusions. In this study found the use of diction and style of language in religious lectures Tengku Hanan Attaki. The use of diction in the religious lecture of Tengku hanan Attaki is divided into two, namely the type of meaning and meaning relation. This type of meaning is divided into thirteen, meaning lexical, grammatical, contextual, referential, nonreferential, denotative, connotative, proverbial, colocative, thematic, common and special word, and progem language. The relation of meaning is divided into two, namely synonym and antonym. The use of language style in the Tengku Hanan Attaki religious lecture is divided into three, namely the style of language comparison, linkage, and repetition. Comparative language style is metaphorical and metaphorical, intermediate language style is antonomia, and the style of repetition language is epizeukis.

Abstract

The main problem of this research is “how is the application of explicit instruction learning model on fast reading learning at grade VII students of SMP Negeri 20 Sigi?, How to improve students’ fast reading skill by applying explicit instruction model”?. The research results show that the application of explicit instruction model in fast reading were done in a phase, namely the orientation phase, percentage, guided training, and self-training. The research results in cycle i which has been done, the average reading speed of students 256.6, unterstanding the content of 57.2 percent with percentage of classical learning mastery was 40,9 percent. Refer to Minimum Achievement Criteria (KKM) which apply in Indonesian languange learning at SMP Negeri 20 Sigi, the average value is 70 and classical learning achievenmt is 80 percent, The results of this research appears to have not reached the standard of mastery. The action of cycle II, students’ skill was improved. 22 students have shown the speed of reading of reading of 274.9 speed per minute (KPM) with understanding of the average content of 80.6. Refer to Minimum Achievement Criteria (KKM) which apply in Indonesian languange learning at SMP Negeri 20 Sigi, the result has reached the standar of completeness. Therefore, based on the research results, it can be conclude thet with the application of explicit instruction learning model can improve fast reading skill at grade VII studebts of SMP Negeri 20 Sigi.

Abstract

This research aims at describing the diversity and the function of languages used in the interaction of selling and buying in complex of Palu Plaza, and factor caused the language diversity. Data source were obtained through verbal utterances of seller and buyer in complex of Palu Plaza by using study of communication ethnography. Method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. Data were collected through four techniques: recording, field-note, observation, and interview unstructured. Subject of this research is the seller and the buyer in Palu Plaza. Technique of data analysis used is interactive model that covers four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and verification. The result of this research revealed that the language diversity used in the interaction between seller and buyer in Palu Plaza is: (1) the form of word use, (2) the use of phrase, (3) the use of sentence. Functions of language diversity found in this research are: (1) emotive function, (2) fatigue function, and (3) directive function. Factors caused the diversity are: (1) age factor, (2) factor of regional origin, (3) gender factor, (4) education factor, (5) factor of occupation/profession, and (6) factor of social status.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of diction and language style of the song lyric by Didi Kempot. Sources of data obtained from the album Best Campursari, success album Vol.3, and Romantic Javanese. The study, which used in this research, is the overview of Ethnography. The method used was descriptive qualitative method. The data collection is done by two techniques: (1) listen and (2) record. The object of research was the song lyric by Didi Kempot. A data analysis technique in this research was an interactive model. The analysis of the research included four phases, namely: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) presentation of data, and (4) verification / conclusion. The results showed that the use of diction denotative and connotative that used in song lyric by Didi Kempot more often use denotative meaning, concrete and abstract words used in song lyric by Didi Kempot more often use the word concrete. The results of the study language was contained in a song lyric by Didi Kempot of “ Parangtritis” three kinds of language styles, namely: the personification, redundancy, and assonance, song lyric of “ Layang Kangen“: hyperbole, assonance, and anaphora, song lyric of “Cidro”: hyperbole, litotes, metaphors, personification, and euphemism, song lyric of “Sewu Kuto“: hyperbole, sinekdoke, euphemisms and anaphora, song lyric of “ Janji Palsu “: the personification, euphemism, assonance, and anaphora, and song lyric of “ Ketaman Asmara”: hyperbole and personification. Cultural values contained in the lyrics "Parangtritis": religious and ethical values, lyrics "Stasiun Balapan": religious values, lyrics “Layang Kangen “: religious values, ethical, and aesthetic, lyrics “Cidro“: religious values, lyrics “Sewu Kuto“: religious values and aesthetic, lyrics of “Janji Palsu”: religious values, and lyrics of “Ketaman Asmara”: ethical and aesthetic values.

Abstract

This research was experimental research. The formulation of the problem in this reserach amounted to three, namely (1) How is the ability to write exposition text in class X MIPA of SMAN 1 Bambaira Pasangkayu Regency?, (2) How is the implementation of exposition text writing learning with problem-based learning model at class X MIPA of SMAN 1 Bambaira Pasangkayu Regency? The results of the ability to write exposition text in the experimental class and the control at class X MIPA of SMAN 1 Bambaira Pasangkayu Regency? This research aims to test the problem-based learning model in order to improve the ability to write exposition text so that the teaching learning process model becomes an alternative learning to write exposition text. This research was a quasi-experimental research method. The design in this research was a quasi experimental design. The population of this research was all students at class X of SMAN 1 Bambaira. The samples were two classes, namely class X MIPA 1 as the experimental class and class X MIPA 2 as the control class. The structure and rules of the exposition text assessed in this research cover five aspects, namely content, text structure, vocabulary, sentence effectiveness, and mechanics. Based on the results of statistical tests, data obtained from the calculation of t-test Sig are obtained 'the ability to write exposition text is 0.035. The significance level in this research was 0.05 (95% confidence level). Based on these calculations, the results of the hypothesis Ho is rejected or the hypothesis Ha is accepted, there is a significant difference between the ability to write exposition text in the experimental class using a problem-based learning model and a control class with a learning model not using problem-based learning at class X of SMAN 1 Bambaira Pasangkayu Regency.

Abstract

Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah bagimanakah nilai religi yang terkandung dalam novel Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika Karya Hanum Salsabiela Rais dan Rangga Almahedra? Tujuannya mendeskripkan nilai religi dalam novel  Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika Karya Hanum Salsabiela Rais dan Rangga Almahendra. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah Novel Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika karya Hanum Salsabiela Rais dan Rangga Almahendra. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif, metode ini mendeskripsikan nilai religi yang terdapat dalam novel Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika Karya Hanum Salsabiela Rais dan Rangga Almahendra. Teknik pengumpulan data merupakan langkah paling strategis dalam penelitian ini, pengumpulan data meliputi (1) membaca keseluruhan Novel secara berulang-ulang (2) mengidentifikasi bagian cerita yang berkenaan dengan nilai religi (3) menentukan bagian-bagian cerita yang berkenaan dengan nilai religi kemudian mendeskripsikannya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat dikemukakan bahwa nilai religi dalam novel Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika Karya Hanum salsabiela Rais dan Rangga Almahendra  meliputi semua dimensi nilai religi sesuai dengan teori R. Stack dan G.Y Glock yang mengemukakan bahwa nilai religi terbagi atas lima dimensi yaitu (1) keyakinan beragama (2) praktik beragama (3)  Rasa/ pengalaman Beragama (4) Pengetahuan beragama (5) Konsekuensi Beragama Kata Kunci: Nilai Religi Novel

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 3 Palu. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah kemampuan siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Palu Menentukan Ide Pokok dalam Paragraf. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Palu Menentukan Ide Pokok dalam Paragraf. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan penulis adalah metode deskriptif dengan metode mengumpulkan data yaitu pemberian tes evaluasi berupa tes objektif sebanyak 10 nomor dan tes esay terdiri dari 8 paragraf. Data kemampuan siswa yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan rumus  untuk menentukan nilai rata – rata siswa.Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data penelitian dan kriteria ketuntasan maksimal (KKM) di kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Palu pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia yaitu 78. Hasil dari penelitian ini telah diperoleh nilai rata-rata kemampuan siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Palu dalam menentukan ide pokok dalam paragraf yaitu 6,23 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Palu belum berhasil menentukan ide pokok dalam paragraf. Terdapat dua faktor penyebab siswa tidak mampu menentukan ide pokok dalam paragraf yaitu faktor siswa dan faktor guru. Adanya faktor dari siswa disebabkan oleh kurangnya latihan dan membaca dalam menentukan ide pokok dalam paragraf. Sedangkan faktor dari guru yaitu guru membutuhkan metode tersendiri mengelola pembelajaran agar menarik, menyenangkan dan memberikan manfaat bagi siswa. Sehingga siswa tidak merasa bosan dengan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia.. Kata Kunci : Kemampuan, ide pokok, paragraf.
