Abstract

High yielding is one of main objectives on rice breeding. A preliminary yield trial is one of steps in the selection process of developing new varieties. Selection for yield and its component traits is a complex process due to the nature of quantitative traits. The right selection approach may improve the effectiveness of the selection. It is therefore the objective of the current study was to select high yielding rice genotypes. A total of 10 promising rice families were evaluated and compared to four check varieties. Least Significant Increase (LSI), and selection index (Mulamba & Mock and Genotype Ideotype Distance index) analysis were performed. LSI test showed that PP48-5 and SP101-3-1-5 had the best performance in almost all traits compared to the lowest average of the check variety. The selection index found that SP101-3-1-5 had highest yield selection index and was recognized as superior family by selection index. SP101-3-1-5 is selected as potential family to be developed as a new high yielding rice varieties

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe development of the industrial center area is one of the efforts to build a local economythat aims to construct commodity-based production of the village that is owned by the localcommunity. Community Service (PKM) is carried out in Kadubungbang-PandeglangVillage. PKM is done to assist in the empowerment of typical Pandeglang culinary businessin the home industry "Apem Bohay Barokah". The current problem is not yet maximized inapem marketing (in terms of packaging and sales that are still sold around the village).Marketing is assisted on the packaging side with contemporary packaging designs andmaking posters to be better known and known to the general public. PKM was accepted byApem Bohay Pandeglang's business. Marketing is not only done in terms of packagingproducts and banners but also assisted in terms of digitizing one of them with the androidapplication. Pemasaran tidak hanya dilakukan dari sisi pengemasan produk dan spanduktetapi juga dibantu dari sisi digitalisasi salah satunya dengan aplikasi android. Abstract

Penyakit pada padi, salah satunya tungro masih menjadi pembatas utama produksi padi di Indonesia. Pengendalian efektif dapat dilakukan melalui penggunaan dan pergiliran varietas tahan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui fisiologi genotipe-genotipe yang mengalami recovery setelah serangan tungro dibandingkan dengan genotipe-genotipe tahan. Penelitian dilakukan pada dua populasi generasi kedua persilangan Ketonggo x Utri Merah dan Ketonggo x ARC12596 masing-masing 230 genotipe di rumah kaca BB Padi dan Kebun percobaan Universitas Padjadjaran. Inokulasi virus pada tanaman dilakukan dengan menggunakan forced-tube inoculation dan skoring gejala berdasarkan sistem evaluasi standar untuk padi. Pengamatan kandungan klorofil, jumlah konduktansi stomata, dan kuantum efisiensi fotosintesis dilakukan dengan membandingkan antara grup genotipe recovery dengan grup genotipe tahan dan grup genotipe rentan, serta varietas cek tahan, dan varietas cek rentan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum genotipe-genotipe recovery dari persilangan Ketonggo x Utri Merah tidak memperlihatkan perbedaan yang signifikan dengan genotipe tahan maupun cek tahan pada pengamatan kandungan klorofil, konduktansi stomata, dan kuantum efisiensi fotosintesis. Hasil yang sama juga diperoleh untuk persilangan Ketonggo x ARC12596. Genotipe-genotipe yang mengalami recovery dari kedua persilangan memiliki morfologi dan fisiologi yang sama baiknya dengan genotipe tahan dan cek tahan sehingga dapat digunakan untuk menekan penyebaran penyakit tungro.

Abstract

Pak Utar Tofu Factory is a conventional home industry which is engaged in the production of Tofu. There are three types of tofu produced, namely White Tofu, Chinese Tofu, and Jambi Tofu. In plain view, it can be seen that the work stations at this plant are still less ergonomic and have a very high risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) injury, therefore the authors conducted research by applying two methods namely Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), and Ovako Working Analysis System (OWAS) for further comparison. Both methods have the viewpoint of the researcher, as well as the worker's perspective, and are used to examine each work station. After observation, there were 6 work stations with a total of 27 activities in total. After conducting research with these three methods, it was found that the REBA method resulted in all work stations having to be repaired, and the OWAS method resulting in all stations having to be improved. After reviewing and seeing the results of the two methods at each work station, the authors made improvements to the design of work tools at work station two because the work station did not have a major effect on the procedure of the work operator, compared to other work stations. The author makes a work tool repair plan at work station 1 which was originally dipped, into a water flush.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang sering dihadapi oleh perusahaan adalah mengenai pengolahan persediaan bahan baku yang baik. Jumlah persediaan yang terlalu besar akan mengakibatkan timbulnya dana yang dikeluarkan menjadi terlalu besar, selain itu resiko kerusakan barang juga menjadi lebih besar. Namun bila persediaan terlalu sedikit akan mengakibatkan terjadinya kekurangan persediaan yang dapat menyebabkan hilangnya keuntungan. Penelitian dibuat untuk mengetahui perbandingan efisiensi manajemen persediaan yang dilakukan oleh CV. Rafhanah dengan manajemen persediaan metode model  Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Pengumpulan data berupa laporan persediaan yang terkait dengan harga bahan, jumlah persediaan bahan, biaya pesan dan biaya simpan persediaan bahan periode tahun 2018. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa total biaya persediaan yang harus dikeluarkan oleh CV. Rafhanah untuk periode 2018 sebesar Rp 41.124.850,00 sedangkan hasil perhitungan pada model EOQ, total biaya persediaan hanya sebesar Rp 29.132.382,00. Sehingga penerapan model EOQ pada manajemen persediaan CV. Rafhanah menghasilkan penghematan biaya persediaan sebesar Rp 11.992.467,00 atau lebih efisien sebesar 29%. Semua komponen persediaan pada CV. Rafhanah dapat dihitung menggunakan model EOQ dikarenakan semua jenis komponen yang terdapat dalam produk tersebut dapat bertahan lama dan dapat disimpan dalam waktu yang lama.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan Pengadaan Barang dan Jasa adalah memperoleh dan menggunakan produk yang diperlukan dalam jumlah, kualitas, harga, waktu dan tempat secara tepat, efektif, efisien dan bertanggung jawab. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas sistem informasi dan memberikan kemudahan terhadap kepuasan dalam menggunakan aplikasi SI-PRS (Sistem Informasi Pengolahan Rantai Suplai). SI-PRS adalah aplikasi untuk mengelola pengadaan, rencana tender, hasil pelaksanaan tender, perubahan ruang lingkup pekerjaan dan laporan salinan kontrak dalam mendukung perusahaan SKK Migas. lebih lanjut, penelitian ini menyebarkan kuesioner dan analisis untuk mengukur perspektif pengguna dalam penggunaan SI-PRS dengan jumlah sampel 38 orang. beberapa pengujian meliputi uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji t, uji f dan regresi linier untuk menentukan kepuasan pengguna SI-PRS.  Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variabel Kualitas Sistem (X1), variabel Format(X2) dan Variabel Kemudahan (X3) secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan dan berpengaruh positif terhadap Kepuasand User (Y). kemudian, variabel X yang sangat dominan terhadap variabel Y (kepuasan user) adalah variabel kemudahan sebesar 42,6%. Kata Kunci:  Sistem Informasi, Kualitas Sistem, Format, Kemudahan

Abstract

The brown planthopper (BPH)-resistant rice, early maturity, and aromatic are expected by both farmers and consumers. The traits have been combined through gene pyramiding and some promising rice genotypes obtained. However the genetic control of BPH resistance and maturity is quantitatively inherited, it is therefore both molecular and phenotypic assessments would be tremendously helpful in selecting promising genotypes. The study aimed to obtain genotypes with such valuable traits. Rice lines were analyzed using molecular markers i.e., RM586, RM589, RM8213 (BPH resistant gene markers); RM7610 and RM19414 (early maturity markers), and IFAP (Internal Fragrant Antisense Primer) for detecting aromatic, and INSP (Internal Non-fragrant Sense Primer) for non-aromatic rice. Phenotypic assessment was performed for brown planthopper resistant-related traits, such as chlorophyll content, stomatal conductance, and trichome density. Other evaluations were heading date and aroma (using 1.7% KOH solution). Results showed that molecular markers for evaluating BPH resistance genes (Bph3, Bph4, Qbph4, and Bph17), aroma (fgr gene), and heading date (Hd2 and Hd3 genes) could differentiate genotypes, and they serve as perfect markers, except for heading date markers. Seven genotypes i.e., #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #10, and #11 were related to all traits expected based on molecular marker analysis. Meanwhile, genotypes #1, #2, #4, #6, and #11 were similar to their parents based on phenotypic analysis. Pyramiding program based on molecular and phenotypic markers enables us to combine three valuable traits into one rice genotype as presented in this study

Abstract

A Learning environment is a place where the learning process takes place. In the implementation of the learning process, most student activities are carried out in a sitting position. Therefore the conditions and seating arrangements, the shape of the chairs, the various equipment and facilities that support the teaching and learning process must be a concern. An uncomfortable sitting position can affect the quality of learning. Also, uncomfortable lecture chairs will affect the user's concentration in learning so that this condition will accelerate the onset of fatigue. The application of the production process that we carried out for the manufacture of our redesigned lecture chairs (flexible chair) has been produced with a total time of 370 minutes with parts, namely, the mainframe, headrests, leg rests, back frame, and supporting materials with a total of 5 operators. We hope that this article can help other fellow students to produce an item and make an analysis of the production process.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic has an impact on industry in Indonesia. One of the industries affected by Covid 19 is the coffee shop industry. The existence of the Covid 19 pandemic caused uncertainty in the sale of coffee products which caused the coffee shop to have difficulty determining raw materials for the next period. To overcome this problem, forecasting is needed to determine the raw material needs in the form of coffee beans. This study aims to predict the number of best-selling products in "Kopi Titik" coffee. Namely coffee milk, Americano and Capuccino so that the company can get an idea of the number of product sales in the coming period. In addition, companies can also place orders with suppliers so that the raw material needs to fulfill best seller products can be met. The method used in this research is quantitative forecasting, that is forecasting that uses past data to determine future needs. The results obtained from this study are the best seller coffee sales pattern at the Point Coffee Cafe, namely a trend pattern which then uses the double exponential smoothing method with one parameter (Des Brown) and two parameter (Des Holt) approaches; MAPE from the forecast results is 0.268285274% for milk coffee, 0.36874754% for americano and 0.389056107% for cappuccino. The forecast results for the next 5 months are 3498 cups with details of 1920 cups of milk coffee, 754 glasses of americano and 824 cups of cappuccino.
