Abstract

This research aimed to know mindfulness significantly influenced spiritual well-being, to know the spiritual well-being significantly influenced life satisfaction, to know mindfulness significantly influenced life satisfaction, and to know the Spiritual well being mediated the influence of mindfulness toward life satisfaction. The subject in the research included 152 students of STAKN Kupang with 49 male students (32%) and 103 female students (68%), and were taken from four semesters with 50 first semesters student (33%), 34 third semester students (22%), 38 fifth semester students (25%), and 30 seventh semester students (20%). A quantitative research method was used with techniques such as regression analysis, path analysis, Sobel test and bootstrapping. The findings show that: (1) mindfulness significantly influenced the spiritual well-being; (2) spiritual well-being significantly influenced life satisfaction; (3) mindfulness did not influence life satisfaction; and (4) spiritual well-being mediated the influence of mindfulness toward life satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to find the influence of applying cooperative learning jigsaw type to improve the learning outcomes of the 6th semester students in the course of History of Christian Religious Education at STAKN Kupang in 2017. Quantitative research methods with the quasi experiment nonequeivalent control group design approach was used as a research method. The experimental study involved two groups of students, the experimental group and the control group, each of which was given pre-test and post-test. The target population of 62 students was divided into two different groups. Each consisted of 32 students in the experimental group and 30 students in the control group. The results showed that  the application of cooperative learning jigsaw type was able to improve students’ learning outcomes at 30.625 or 30.6 persen with significance value on the sig. value  (2-tailed) by 0.000 <0.05 or there is a significant increase. The average value of students’ learning outcomes using cooperative learning model with jigsaw approach is greater than 8.586 with significance value at sig. value (2-tailed) of 0.003 <0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in the value of learning outcomes compared to that of students using only conventional methods such as lectures

Abstract

The application of cooperative learning methods types of examples non examples in classroom action research is intended to build students’ imagination and critical thinking skills in learning. It is hoped that learning outcomes in the cognitive domain will increase. This research was conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this study were students in 5th grade of SD Inpres Oesapa Kecil 1 Kota Kupang totaling 23 students and consisted of 15 male students and 8 female students. Data collection tecniques used was observation, tests, and performance. The data analysis technique used is quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results of the research showed a significant increase in the average percentage of classical completeness. The researcher concluded that the application of the learning methods succeeded in improving learning outcomes of Christian Religious Education subjects for 5th grade students of SD Inpres Oesapa Kecil 1 Kota Kupang. Penerapan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe examples non examples dalam penelitian tindakan kelas kali ini dimaksudkan untuk membangun imajinasi dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam belajar dengan harapan hasil belajar pada ranah kognitif akan meningkat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus kepada siswa kelas V SD Inpres Oesapa Kecil 1 Kota Kupang yang berjumlah 23 siswa terdiri dari laki-laki 15 siswa dan perempuan 8 siswa. Teknik Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan unjuk kerja. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian pada siklus pertama dan kedua menunjukkan peningkatan yang berarti pada nilai rata-rata persentasi ketuntasan klasikal. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe examples non examples berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif Pendidikan Agama Kristen siswa kelas Vc SD Inpres Oesapa Kecil 1 Kota Kupang.

Abstract

An inclusive perspective is conceptualized as the adaptation or internalization of the paradigm of a particular register into the intended concept. Christian education as a pedagogical concept is in a broad register, such as family, church and society. This study uses working text data on the Dawan community in an inclusive perspective on Christian education. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The results of the study explained that the working text of the Dawan community focused on the concept of monit naleko 'living well' as the main reference of the concept of 'work'. The inclusive perspective of Christian religious education is not necessarily adaptive to the reference. This non-adaptive emerges social interpretations and forms new concepts that are seen in attitudes and behavior. The novelty of research seen in the formulation of inclusive perspectives does not always refer to the adaptive renewal as previous research. Conceptual interactions can produce new concepts in social cognition. Strong internalization based on biblical interpretation must continue to be sought in the process of adaptive, inclusive perspective on Christian religious education. Key Words: inclusive perspective, Christian religious education, working texts.

Abstract

Tujuan studi ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran pedagogi shalom bagi guru pendidikan agama Kristen dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan literature review. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Tujuan PAK adalah untuk rekonsiliasi dengan Allah, diri sendiri, sesama, dan alam; (2) Konten PAK berbasis pada kontekstualisasi (multikultural) bukan netral, universal, kebiasaan, tradisi, dan adat istiadat; (3) Metode PAK yang perlu diterapkan adalah discovery, bukan individual centered (mouth-to-mouth), kompetisi, menghafal dan kepatuhan buta; (4) Peran, fungsi, dan tanggung jawab guru adalah guru sebagai pemimpin missional, bukan teknisi atau mesin. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of the pedagogy of shalom for the Christian education teacher in improving pedagogy competence. The research methods used are qualitative with the approach literature review. The results of this study showed that: (1) the goal of Christian religious education is for reconciliation with god, oneself, neighbor, and nature; (2) the content of Christian religious education is based on contextual (multicultural) rather than neutral, universal, customs, traditions, and customs; (3) the method of Christian religious education that needs to be applied is discovery, not individual centered, competition, blind memorization and obedience; (4) the roles, functions, and responsibilities of a teacher are teachers as professional leaders, not technicians or machines.

Abstract

Persoalan yang ditemukan pengabdi adalah masih kurangnya publikasi artikel ilmiah dari dosen dan mahasiswa. Dosen dan mahasiswa belum membuat artikel ilmiah dari hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian mahaiswa belum ada dipublikasikan di rumah jurnal yang sudah dimiliki oleh kampus. Disini pengabdi memilih topik penulisan artikel ilmiah dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kekuatan isi naskah yang telah dibuat. Tujuan kegiatan pengelolaan Open Journal System diselenggarakan untuk mengatasi keterbatasan pengetahuan dalam memulai penerbitan jurnal. Pengabdi menemukan kurangnya semangat dan usaha untuk memulai dan berkomitmen untuk menerbitkan hasil penelitian. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan ini didasarkan pada cara penyampaian materi dan penerapan latihan. Bukti pengabdian merefleksikan keseriusan dan Dedikasi dari peserta untuk memulai menulis. Selain itu, juga merangkum temuan penelitian untuk diajukan ke jurnal. Hal itu terlihat pada usaha pendaftaran jurnal yang berhasil.

Abstract

Tujuan melakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) adalah melatih guru untuk menyajikan ide dalam bentuk tulisan yang dapat diterbitkan. Selain itu, guru diberi pelatihan untuk mengelaborasi pengajuan dan hasil penelitian dengan baik dan tepat. Upaya pelatihan dilakukan agar guru dapat mengembangkan budaya literasi.  Metode pengabdian adalah penyampaian secara langsung dan latihan mandiri. Kegiatan diselenggarakan pada hari kesembilan bulan Agustus tahun 2023. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh 20 guru. Pengabdi menemukan ada lima orang guru yang telah memahami cara penyusunan proposal PTK. Sebagian besar guru telah memahami alur berpikir penyusunan penelitian ini. Guru telah menemukan cara memecahkan masalah, merumuskan, dan merancang penelitian.The goal of performing Action Research in the classroom is to prepare instructors to deliver ideas in a published format. Furthermore, teachers are trained to elaborate proposals and study findings correctly and accurately. Training is provided to teachers in order for them to build a literacy culture. Direct delivery and independent training are the service methods. The activity will take place on August 9, 2023. This meeting had 20 teachers in attendance. The servant discovered five instructors who knew how to write Classroom Action Research proposals. Most teachers comprehended the flow of thought in the production of this research. Teachers have learned how to address issues, generate hypotheses, and design research.

Abstract

The goal of Community Service activities with the theme Writing and Publication of Classroom Action Research (CAR) is to increase educators' competence in the field of CAR, inspire innovation and improve learning, disseminate CAR knowledge and practice in the classroom, and encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing. The activity's goal was to reach 35 junior high school teachers in Kupang Regency, NTT Province. Carried out through the use of andragogy learning methodologies, including needs assessment, content preparation, and interactive training. The end findings demonstrate that the training participants' understanding of CAR has greatly expanded, their desire and self-innovation have developed, and they have continued with a commitment to use the outcomes of the CAR training, as well as subsequent training activities will be carried out in order to improve instructors' capacities to enhance their understanding and skills in CAR-related issues.

Abstract

Ide dasar pengabdian masyarakat ini didasarkan pada situasi problamatik yang dihadapi mitra yakni minimnya penguasaan guru terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru dalam bidang pembelajaran, belum berkembangnya inovasi desain pembelajaran yang mengacu pada landasan teoretis dan model desain pembelajaran yang telah teruji, dan terbatasnya kreatifitas guru dalam mengembangkan sumber belajar yang sesuai dengan konteks dan karakteristik belajar siswa di masing-masing sekolah. Solusi yang ditawarkan kepada mitra adalah pelatihan pembuatan multimedia interaktif berbasis PowerPoint dan bahan ajar digital. Materi pelatihan tersebut didukung dengan pemaparan materi lainnya yaitu: desain pembelajaran di era new normal; prinsip pembelajaran di era digital dan new normal; perkembangan teknologi digital, manfaat dan resiko pemanfaatan teknologi digital; konsep, prinsip, strategi dan sumber belajar di era digital. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dalam bentuk knowledge sharing dengan pendekatan andragogi. Kegiatan PKM memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan berbasis teknologi yang dibutuhkan guru dalam menghadapi era ne normal. Sebagian besar guru dapat mempraktekkan pembuatan multimedia interaktif dan seluruhnya dapat membuat bahan ajar digital.
