Abstract

Abstrak: Melihat perbandingan antara angka angkatan kerja dan pengangguran di Indonesia membuktikan bahwa untuk mencari pekerjaan di zaman sekarang ini sangat sulit. (Budidarma & Rukmini, 2015) mendapatkan hasil analisis terhadap pengaruh pelatihan tes wawancara kerja dan soft skills. Data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi perubahan mindset partisipan. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai teknik wawancara yang baik dan benar serta seberapa pentingnya soft skill dalam membentuk personal branding. Adapun metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan terdiri dari tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta. Hal tersebut terbukti dengan tingkat partisipasi dari peserta dan peningkatan pemahaman sebesar 76,9 % ,  melalui Pre-test dan Post-test. Peserta memiliki bekal persiapan kerja agar dapat diterima pada perusahaan yang diinginkan baik dari teknik melakukan interview kerja, teknik menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh Human Resources Development (HRD), body language pada saat melakukan interview kerja dan persiapan lain.Abstract:  The high labor force participation and unemployment rates in Indonesia demonstrate that finding a job today is extremely difficult. (Budidarma & Rukmini, 2015) obtained the findings of an analysis on the effect of job interview test training and soft skills. The data show that the participants' mindset has shifted. This training aims to provide an understanding of proper interview techniques and the significance of soft skills in shaping personal branding. The method of carrying out training activities consists of stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The training was practical in terms of increasing the participants' knowledge. It is proven that with the participation rate of participants and increased understanding by 76.9 %, measured by pre-test and post-test. Participants are provided with work preparation to be accepted by the desired company, including techniques for conducting job interviews, answering Human Resources Development (HRD) questions, body language during job interviews, and other preparations.

Abstract

Abstrak: Melihat banyaknya masyarakat di sepuluh Kecamatan se-Kota Samarinda yang memiliki usaha namun masih kesulitan dalam memaksimalkan mutu produk menjadikan penulis mengambil pengabdian ini sebagai bahan materi, dengan harapan menerapkan pembelajaran yang diberikan kepada para pelaku usaha dapat membantu mengembangkan usaha. Workshop ini penting untuk diadakan mengingat masih banyaknya pelaku usaha yang menjalankan usahanya tanpa memperhatikan pentingnya mutu produk. Tujuan diadakannya workshop ini untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia melalui kegiatan workshop. Workshop dilakukan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai peningkatkan dan pengembangan mutu produk. Yang menjadi peserta dalam kegiatan ini adalah pengrajin di sepuluh Kecamatan se-Kota Samarinda. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode workshop, di mana di dalam workshop ini juga terdapat praktik secara langsung yang dapat membantu para pengrajin melihat secara langsung pentingnya mutu produk. Workshop ini dilaksanakan dengan efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta. Hal tersebut terbukti dengan tingkat partisipasi dari peserta dan peningkatan pemahaman sebesar 79%. Setelah mendapatkan workshop ini diharapkan apa yang disampaikan dapat berguna dan diterapkan dalam usaha masing-masing.Abstract: Seeing the number of people in ten sub-districts throughout the city of Samarinda who have businesses but still have difficulty maximizing product quality, the authors take this service as material, with the hope that applying the lessons given to business actors can help develop businesses. This workshop is important to be held considering that there are still many business actors who run their business without paying attention to the importance of product quality. The purpose of this workshop is to improve the quality of human resources through workshop activities. The workshop was conducted to provide an understanding of improving and developing product quality. The participants in this activity are craftsmen in ten sub-districts throughout the city of Samarinda. The method used is the workshop method, where in this workshop there is also a hands-on practice that can help the craftsmen see firsthand the importance of product quality. This workshop was carried out effectively in increasing the knowledge of the participants. This is evidenced by the participation rate of the participants and an increase in understanding of 79%. After getting this workshop, it is hoped that what is conveyed can be useful and applied in their respective businesses.

Abstract

This paper aims to determine how Covid-19 affects import-export activities and the business between Indonesia and Japan. The method used to collect data is a qualitative method through literature study, namely by collecting and conducting a review of literature, documents, and the results of previous relevant studies. The data obtained from several sources are data on GDP (Gross Domestic Product) and data on exports and imports of the country concerned. In conducting the analysis, the technique used is data reduction, displaying data through graphs and tables and drawing conclusions from the data that has been obtained. The results are that some decreases and increases occurred during 2019-2021. However, the most significant decline occurred when Indonesia and Japan underwent a policy lockdown. The efforts to avoid the Covid-19 outbreak have significantly impacted the two countries' economic activities, dependent on export and import activities. However, the situation returned to normal due to the efforts made by both countries to restore the economy.

Abstract

Seeing the increasing unemployment rate of Poltekkes Kemenkes Kaltim graduates, the low motivation and interest of students in participating in business competitions such as Student Creativity, made the authors do this service. This service activity is important to increase participants' entrepreneurial insight through the Entrepreneurship Development Program (KDP). To foster a business spirit and entrepreneurial motivation through Interprofessional Collaboration (IPC) is the purpose of this activity, socialization of training and entrepreneurship assistance: marketing mix and Break Event Point (BEP). The method in this activity is through 5 steps: 1) socialization, 2) recruitment, 3) training, 4) practice, and 5) tenants independence this activity involves the ASI Support Group Community partners (KP ASI), independent practice midwives, and maternity clinics. The activity can be said to be successful because the predetermined target has been achieved. The results obtained from this activity are a) There tenants are 11recruitment products lagtogo and MPASI results from student research and student innovation, b) Knowledge of Marketing Mix and Break-Even Point (BEP), c) Making MOUs with 16 partners.

Abstract

Womenpreneurs adalah seorang pengusaha wanita yang dapat mengatur atau mengelola perusahaan atau bisnis. Dalam menjalankan bisnis harus memiliki strategi agar dapat bertahan dalam segala kondisi dan memiliki ketahanan bisnis yang kuat, terutama pada saat pandemi Covid-19 seperti saat ini. Salah satu strateginya adalah dengan memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai wadah untuk terus mengembangkan omzet penjualan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali data dan informasi terkait penggunaan media sosial bagi wanita yang memiliki usaha pada saat pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review. Jumlah artikel yang ditemukan sebanyak 10 artikel yang kemudian dikelompokkan berdasarkan konsep dan pembahasan yang sama dengan topik yang diangkat. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah media sosial sangat bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan omset penjualan pada saat pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

As a country with the largest Muslim population globally, Indonesia can become a leader in the Islamic financial industry. The increased public awareness of halal matters and stakeholders’ strong support are essential factors in developing the halal industry ecosystem in Indonesia. The Islamic banking industry in Indonesia itself has experienced a significant increase and development in the past three decades. Product innovation, service improvement, and network development show a positive trend from year to year. The spirit to accelerate is also reflected in the number of Islamic banks that take corporate actions. Sharia banks owned by State-owned banks are no exception, namely Bank Syariah Mandiri, BNI Syariah, and BRI Syariah. Indonesia uses the SWOT approach. This study uses a literature study where the data come from literature related to the title under study. In this study, the authors collected the data from existing research and summary reports on mergers carried out by 3 Islamic banks, namely BRI Syariah Bank, Mandiri Syariah Bank, and BNI Syariah Bank. It can be concluded that Bank Syariah Indonesia has massive capital strength and sources of funds, regulation, facilities, and support from the government and already has m-banking BSI Mobile. The weaknesses of Bank Syariah Indonesia are less competitive business models and products, less optimal quality and quantity of human resources, integration problems and corporate culture, ecosystems, and information technology that are still lagging behind conventional banks. The opportunities for Bank Syariah Indonesia are penetrating markets that were previously inaccessible, the increasing number of investors in the Islamic capital market, global Sukuk financing, the financial technology ecosystem, the efforts by the government and academia in growing digital and financial inclusion, and the large Muslim population in Indonesia. The threats that arise are the low literacy and inclusion of the Islamic banking system, the increasing risk of financing liquidity problems, the ratio of non-performing financing, and competitors’ better financial technology. It was suggested that mergers exploit synergies, reduce overlaps in operations, right-sizing, and redeploy surplus staff either by retraining, restructuring labor, or voluntary retirement. The merger likewise meets the need for development, diminishing the degree of rivalry, and making an enormous substance between State-owned Islamic banking enterprises.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of competence and compensation on employee engagement and their impact on employee performance. Competence is an essential thing that must be considered in managing human resources in the company because competence means a person's ability to do a job based on skills or expertise to produce good results. This research was conducted at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV, a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) engaged in managing seaports and sea services. The type of research used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The sample used is 69 respondents who are Organic Employees of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero) Samarinda branch by using a sample using Nonprobability sampling with the Quota Sampling method with the data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results showed that the competence variable partially had a significant effect on employee engagement, the compensation variable partially had a significant effect on employee engagement, the competence variable partially had a significant effect on employee performance, the compensation variable partially had a significant effect on employee performance, the employee engagement variable partially had an effect significant to employee performance. PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero) Samarinda branch is expected to maintain the quality of employees based on competence and expertise in their fields respectively to improve performance as expected by the company. Superiors can also maintain relationships with employees by providing training, advice, and evaluating employee work results to improve employee performance effectively. Furthermore, the company can maintain a system of providing compensation and benefits received by employees to increase employee work loyalty to improve the quality of performance to the company.

Abstract

In a Muslim country, halal products were a norm in the society whereby Muslims in their daily life were not only consuming the halal products. The acceptance of non-Muslims towards halal products is growing as well because of the strict process and laws to follow. It reviews studies and theories on customer’s purchase intention on halal products and the concepts of price, awareness, availability, safety, ingredients, and quality of the halal products, which affect their purpose to buy from the perspective of non-Muslim. Fifty research article from 2009 to 2019 was chosen for this research. Besides, the halal products are also being monitored, certified, and enforced by the government. Halal products with certification will automatically gain the confidant of the consumers without any doubts. There are many types of research being conducted about the halal industry, but there is limited research being conducted to explore the non-Muslim consumers' purchase intention on halal products.Keywords: halal products, purchase intention, non-muslim, literature review

Abstract

Abstrak: Melihat orang-orang dari usia muda sampai dewasa masih banyak yang kesulitan dalam melakukan public speaking menjadikan penulis mengambil pengabdian ini sebagai bahan materi, dengan penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan apa yang dibutuhkan para siswa sebagai peserta pelatihan yang nantinya akan menjadi penerus bangsa. Pelatihan ini penting untuk diselenggarakan mengingat masih banyaknya kasus di mana seseorang takut dan tidak percaya diri untuk berbicara di depan umum. Tujuan diselenggarankannya acara ini untuk menumbuhkan kembali semangat para peserta yang mungkin saja sebelumnya masih malu ataupun takut ketika berbicara di depan umum. Yang menjadi peserta dalam kegiatan ini adalah murid SMA dari tiga (3) sekolah yang berbeda, yaitu SMAN 2 Enrekang, SMK 1 Samarinda, dan SMAN 6 Penajam Paser Utara. Metode yang digunakan alah metode Webinar dan bimbingan teknis, di mana pelatihan yang dilakukan berdampak pada apa yang ingin diketahui oleh para pelajar. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta. Hal tersebut terbukti dengan tingkat partisipasi dari peserta dan peningkatan pemahaman sebesar 63,5 %. Setelah mendapatkan pelatihan ini diharapkan apa yang disampaikan dapat berguna dan diterapkan di kehidupan sehari-hari.  Abstract: i Seeing people from young age to adulthood are still many who have difficulty in doing public speaking makes the author take this devotion as material material, with the application of a learning approach that is in accordance with what the students need as trainees who will later become the successor of the nation. This training is important to hold considering the number of cases where a person is afraid and not confident to speak publicly. The purpose of this event is to regenerate the spirit of the participants who may have previously been embarrassed or afraid when speaking in public. The participants in this activity are high school students from three (3) different schools, namely SMAN 2 Enrekang, SMK 1 Samarinda, and SMAN 6 Penajam Paser Utara. The methods used are webinar methods and technical guidance, where the training has an impact on what students want to know. The training was carried out effectively in improving the knowledge of participants. This was proven by the participation rate of the participants and increased understanding by 63.5%. After getting this training it is expected that what is delivered can be useful and applied in daily life.
