Abstract

In cheerleading, physical condition, technique mastering, and well-built mental must have been owned by the athletes because those contribute highly in order to gain achievements. Therefore, the goal of this research is important to be completed in order to observe the level of cheerleaders’ physical conditions of FO Raiders cheerleading extracurricular members in yunior haigh school Kartika IV-1 Surabaya. The type of this observation was qualitative descriptive, with approach method of One Shot Model. The chosen research subjects were 20 female students as the members of FO Raiders cheerleaders extracurricular in yunior haigh school Kartika IV-1 Surabaya, with age of 13 – 14 years old. According to the result of the research, it can be concluded that the mean of body weight index is 19,78 kg/m², the mean of the flexibility are 13,85 cm, the mean of balance are 7,94 seconds, the mean of extensor back muscle strength are 45,1 kg, the mean of leg muscle strength are 37,15 kg, the mean of the shoulder muscle’s pushing strength are 16 kg, the mean of the arm muscle strength are 30 times,the mean of the stomach muscle strength are 21 times, the legs’ exploding power are 13,85 inchi, and the enduring power of cardio respiratory vascular are 25,73 ml/kg/mnt.Key words: physical condition, FO Raiders extracurricular cheerleaders yunior haigh school Kartika IV-1 Surabaya

Abstract

Hylocareus costarisensis more commonly known as red dragon fruit are beneficial as antioxidant and a source of natural pigments and potentially as antimicrobial. Journal of Food Research points out that the content of Phenol in the peel of red dragon fruit is greater than the the red dragon fruit itself.  Phenol contained in the dragon fruit peel can be useful as antimicrobial because it can lower the surface tension of the microbial. This study therefore aims to figure out whether there is an effect the phenol of Red Dragon Fruit Peel (Hylocareus Costarisensis) extract on the ability to block the growth of microbial patogent such as E.coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Candida albicans and to figure out the compounds found in in the dragon fruit peel . This research employs statistical analysis experiment design by using One Way ANOVA test. The concentration of Red Dragon Fruit Peel extract used was 0,4 gr, 0,8 gr, 1,4 gr, 1,8 gr, 2,0 gr and positive control concentration thinning microbial 1,8 x 103Cell/ml. These studies demonstrated that the antimicrobial compounds in extract of  Red Dragon Fruit Peel is Acetic Acid, Formic Acid and Phenol. This research also indicates that the bigger dose of Red Dragon Fruit Peel, the greater power ability to block the growth. The ability to block the growth of microbial is statistically significant (p< 0,05) after giving of Red Dragon Fruit Peel extract

Abstract

Tumbuhan Cryptogamae merupakan kelompok tumbuhan tingkat rendah yang berkembang biak dengan tidak memakai biji. Tumbuhan paku (Pteridophyta) merupakan salah satu divisi tumbuhan Cryptogamae yang memiliki pola penyebaran yang cukup luas dan lazim ditemui di sekitar lingkungan. Kampus II UINSU. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tumbuhan tumbuhan paku yang terdapat di kampus II UINSU yang diharapkan dapat bermanfaat sebagai pengembangan dalam pembelajaran kontekstual Botani Cryptogamae yang dapat diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan nyata dengan mengamati berbagai spesies tumbuhan Cryptogamae yang ditemukan di areal kampus II UINSU. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode survey eksploratif dan deskriptif, dengan melakukan pendataan tumbuhan serta mengamati morfologi dan deskripsi tumbuhan tersebut. sampel dikoleksi dalam bentuk segar dan diidentifikasi di laboratorium Tadris Biologi FITK UINSU. Identifikasi tumbuhan menggunakan prosedur pendataan ciri morfologi tumbuhan dan kunci identifikasi yang bersumber dari buku Tjitrosoepomo (2011). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 2 kelas tumbuhan paku yakni kelas Filicinae dan Lycopodiinae, dimana terdapat 1 ordo, 1 famili, 5 sub famili dan 6 spesies untuk kelas Filicinae serta 1 ordo, 1 famili, dan 1 spesies untuk kelas Lycopodiinae yang ditemukan di Kampus II UINSU.
