Abstract

Siswa  di SMA Muhammadyah belum memperoleh hasil belajar yang baik, khususnya dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris  nilai tidak memenuhi standar KKM yakni 75. Diperoleh data juga bahwa guru belum menerapkan model pembelajaran yang bervariatif, dimana guru masih terbiasa dengan menjelaskan materi, lalu meminta siswa untuk mengerjakan tugas yang sudah ada di dalam buku paket. Sedangkan menurut siswa, diperoleh data bahwa walaupun pelajaran bahasa Inggris sudah dipelajari sejak SMP tapi mereka masih merasa sulit  karena bedanya penulisan dan cara membacanya, dan  penguasaan grammar yang belum baik juga menjadi permasalahan mereka dalam berbicara. Selain itu, siswa merasa tidak percaya diri berbicara  depan kelas. peneliti  menerapkan model pembelajaran Talking Chips untuk mengetahui kemampuan berbicara siswa SMA Muhamadyah  kelas X. Talking chips merupakan salah satu strategi pembelajaran kooperatif yang dikembangkan pertama kali oleh Kagan (1992). Sampel  dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan pourposive sampling. untuk kelas ekspeeimen dipilih kelas IPS A dan utuk kelas kontrol dipilih kelas IPS B. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen, pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen yang dipakai adalah tes kemampuan berbicara bahasa inggris. Dari soal yang diberikan siswa diminta untuk  menceritakan kembali  dengan jenis teks narrative dan report secara lisan (oral test). Adapun indikator penilaian yang diberikan seperti: pemahamn (comprehension), pengucapan (pronounciation), tata bahasa (grammar), kosa kata (vocabulary), dan kelancaran (fluency). dari hasil penelitian  dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang  signifikant pengaruh strategi pembelajaran Talking Chips pada kemampuan berbicara siswa-siswi SMU Muhammadiyah Ende TA 2017/2018.Kata kunci  :   1 Pembelajaran ; 2 Talking Stick ; 3 Berbicara

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to improve students? vocabulary mastery of kindergarten one students of Town for Kids Preschool by using song lyrics. The method of this research is collaborative classroom action research. The researcher acted as the teacher and the class English teacher acted as the observer during the teaching and learning process. The research is conducted in three cycles. The instruments used to collect the data are observation checklist form, vocabulary checklist form and individual test checklist form.The result of the research shows improvement of the student? interest and understanding in  learning the vocabulary of body part. The second cycle is related to  the improvement of the student? respond and understanding in  learning the vocabulary in the song before. The third cycle is related to the improvement of the student? vocabulary mastery. The result of this research showed that the students? vocabulary mastery is improving a lot and it brings remarkable effects to the students? speaking ability. The use of song lyrics in teaching vocabulary to the preschooler help the students to learn and memorize the vocabulary and sentence structure faster and easier. Keywords: Song Lyrics, Improve, Vocabulary Mastery

Abstract

 AbstractThis research aims to know the video tutorials the feasibility for maked  nata de corn on material role of biotechnology in class XII senior high school. The form of research used is quantitative with descriptive methods. First is making of video tutorial and the second is validation of the media. Data collecting tool used is the question form validation of the worthiness of video tutorials. Validation of the feasibility of the media carried out by 6 people validator. Video tutorials are categorized invalid based on the results of validation by 3 people media expert of 3.57 and 3 people expert material amounted to 3.70. Abstract

Abstract Management of educational facilities and infrastructures is needed in order to implement quality education process, effective and efficient. Research questions are directed to: how the planning, effectiveness of use, care, supervision and barriers in the procurement of facilities and infrastructure in TK Negeri Pembina Sambas. To disclose the researchers using qualitative research methods. The process of collecting data was obtained using observations, interviews, and document studies. The results revealed that the planning was done based on needs analysis, effectiveness and efficiency based on schedule and rules implemented with group learning to move space according to centers and learning with Beyond Centers and Circle Times (BCCT) model. Recommendation; That the concept of facilities and infrastructure management in TK Negeri Pembina Sambas has a tendency to lead to the concept of learning Beyond Centers and Circle Times (BCCT). In order to be effective and efficient recruitment of personnel in charge of maintaining and maintaining facilities and infrastructure so that no double job occurs.
