Abstract

Kopi Sanggabuana merupakan komoditas pertanian yang dihasilkan di Kabupaten Karawang Jawa Barat. Kopi tersebut termasuk ke dalam jenis kopi Robusta. Pada aspek ekonomi khusus dalam bidang pemasaran terdapat barbagai masalah. Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat antara lain pemasaran kopi Sanggabuana masih belum efektif dan efisien, pendapatan petani kopi Sanggabuana masih cukup rendah, belum adanya analisis resiko pemasaran kopi Sanggabuana. Temuan yang ditargetkan dalam PKM berupa pemetaan saluran pemasaran, tingkat efisiensi pemasaran, identifikasi dan penilaian tingkat resiko pemasaran, kelayakan saluran pemasaran, penerapan saluran pemasaran yang optimal. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian diimplementasikan ke dalam tahapan penyuluhan. Saluran dari produsen, BUMDes, Pedagang Pengecer dan konsumen dinilai memiliki tingkat efisien yang tinggi, kelayakan yang cukup dan resiko yang rendah. Penyuluhan dilakukan secara door to door kepada petani guna mematuhi protokol kesehatan di masa pandemi Covid 19 dengan tujuan menghindari terjadinya kerumunan disuatu tempat. Penyuluhan tersebut diharapkan menambah pengetahuan petani mengenai saluran distribusi yang mungkin bisa dilakukan dan memberikan pemahaman kepada petani mengenai saluran pemasaran yang efisien, layak dan beresiko kecil.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengkaji pola saluran pemasaran bawang merah, menganalisis biaya di setiap titik mata rantai pemasaran dan menganalisis efisiensi pemasaran bawang merah di dataran menengah Kabupaten Majalengka. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara menggunakan kuesioner yang sudah dipersiapkan sebelumnya. Responden dalam penelitian ini meliputi produsen atau petani bawang merah, pelaku pasar (bandar, pedagang pengecer). Data sekunder diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik, Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Majalengka, Dinas pertanian Provinsi dan Dinas terkait lainnya. Sampel ditentukan dengan cara non probabilistik dengan entry point adalah pelaku usaha utama (petani bawang merah), kemudian dilakukan penelusuran ke depan dan ke belakang (forward and backward) dengan menggunakan snowball sampling untuk mendapatkan sampel pada titik berikutnya hingga sampai ke konsumen. Teknik Analisis yang digunakan adalah marjin pemasaran, keuntungan, farmer share dan efisiensi pemasaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat  6 (enam) pola saluran pemasaran.  Pola saluran pemasaran yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini dibatasi, yakni pola saluran pemasaran yang terdapat di kabupaten Majalengka saja mulai dari produsen hingga konsumen akhir. Terdapat 3 (tiga) pola saluran pemasaran yang ada di Kabupaten Majalengka, meliputi pola 1 (petani-pengecer lokal-konsumen), pola 3 (petani-penebas-pengecer lokal-konsumen), pola 5 (petani-bandar-pengecer lokal-konsumen). Hasil analisis biaya menunjukkan bahwa nilai R/C petani, penebas, bandar dan pengecer > 1 dan nilai B/C > 0, artinya usaha ini layak dan menguntungkan. Ditinjau dari marjin pemasaran, keuntungan,  farmers’s share, dan efisensi pemasaran semua saluran pemasaran dikategorikan efisien.

Abstract

This study aims at determining the estimated parameters of the GARCH (1.1) model establishing the prediction of the VaR value, and defining the accuracy of the VaR prediction. In this study, the error in the GARCH (1,1) model uses a normal distribution and student-t distribution. The research method focuses on parameter calculation and the prediction of VaR value within two aspects regarding analytic and numeric aspects. Analytically, the prediction of the VaR value and the accuracy of the prediction of VaR value through the VaR coverage opportunity. It isn't easy to estimate the parameters for the GARCH (1.1) model analytically. Thus, the parameters are estimated numerically using the Quansi Newton optimization method. Prediction of VaR value and VaR coverage probability will be simulated numerically by using stock return data of IBM, INDF.JK and GSPC. The results show that the GARCH (1.1) model can model stock returns for IBM, INDF.JK and GSPC. There is no significant difference between the GARCH (1,1) model with a normally distributed error and GARCH (1,1) with a student-t distribution error in determining the prediction of VaR values. The numerical simulation results show that the VaR value prediction using the GARCH (1,1) model with a normally distributed error is more accurate than the student-t-distributed error.

Abstract

Mangosteen is a fruit native to Southeast Asia which is a national superior commodity. One of the mangosteen production centers in Indonesia is in Wanayasa District, Purwakarta Regency. The purpose of the study: to determine the cost, acceptance and financial feasibility of mangosteen farming. Quantitative research methods by conducting surveys and observations. Primary data collection by interviews and questionnaires. Research respondents: mangosteen farmers, farmer group leaders, and extension workers. Farmers' samples were taken purposively based on the age of the plant, then randomly. The results of the study: Total expenses incurred for 20 years amounted to Rp282.105.202, Revenue earned for 20 years amounted to Rp322.894.798, Revenue for 20 years amounted to Rp605.000.000; with an interest rate of 6%, per ha of land the NPV value is Rp. 96,109,082, Net B/C Ratio is 3,045, Payback Period is 8 years, and IRR is 16%. Mangosteen farming is said to be feasible. The sensitivities that occur are a 15% decrease in selling price: NPV Rp59,641,553, Net B/C Ratio 2.22, IRR 13% and Payback Period 8 years; 30% decrease in production: NPV Rp23,174,025, Net B/C 1.42, IRR 9%, Payback Period 8 years; Increase in production costs 2.27%: NPV Rp92.772.005, Net B/C Ratio 2.93, Payback Period 8 years and IRR 16%, still considered feasible.

Abstract

BUMDes atau Badan Usaha Milik Desa dibentuk berdasarkan Undang-undang nomr 6 Tahun 2014. Namun pada perkembangannya, BUMDes belum berkembang secara optimal dalam penyumbang Pendapatan Asli Desa (PADes). Tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu memberikan sosialisasi kepada Pengurus BUMDes Buana Mekar, di desa Mekar Buana Kecamatan Tegalwaru, Kabupaten Karawang. Sosialisasi yang diberikan berupa pengetahuan mengenai imbal hasil investasi melalui sistem deviden. Sebelum melakukan sosialisasi, dilakukan survey dan diskusi dengan Pengurus BUMDes untuk memetakan permasalahan dan kebutuhan perkembangan BUMDes. Sosialisasi dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi dengan tim pengabdi. Sosialisasi diikuti oleh 7 orang pengurus BUMDes Buana Mekar. Hasil kegiatan berupa wawasan mengenai investasi yang diterima pengurus BUMDes tidak melulu mengenai investasi dalam bentuk uang, tetapi juga dapat berupa bahan baku mentah dan kerjasama. Bantuan dari beberapa pihak seperti petani kopi Sanggabuna, pemilik kedai kopi dan cafe disekitar Kabupaten Tegalwaru, para akademisi dan mahasiswa KKN dan PKL diharapkan juga sebagai bentuk investasi guna mendukung secara optimal Pendapatan Asli Desa.

Abstract

Adanya jiwa kewirausahaan dan kemitraan pengurus dan pengelola BUMDes Buana Mekar dapat berupaya mengembangkan dan memajukan secara berkelanjutan potensi lokal Desa Buana Mekar. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh jiwa kewirausahaan dan kemitraan terhadap keberhasilan usaha produksi kopi BUMDes Buana Mekar secara bersama-sama, individu, dan besarnya tingkat jiwa kewirausahaan, kemitraan dan keberhasilan usaha. Penelitian dilaksanakan di BUMDes Buana Mekar Desa Mekarbuana Kecamatan Tegalwaru. Sampel ditetapkan dengan cara disproportionate stratified random sampling total sebanyak 44 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi berganda, uji F, uji T dan MSI. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Terdapat pengaruh jiwa kewirausahaan dan kemitraan terhadap keberhasilan usaha diperoleh Sig. < 0,05 sehingga H1 diterima. (2) Terdapat pengaruh jiwa kewirausahaan terhadap keberhasilan usaha diperoleh Sig. < 0,05 sehingga H2 diterima dan terdapat pengaruh kemitraan terhadap keberhasilan usaha diperoleh Sig. < 0,05 sehingga H2 diterima. (3) Tingkat jiwa kewirausahaan (103,981), kemitraan (70,636) dan keberhasilan usaha produksi kopi milik BUMDes Buana Mekar (27,780) tergolong tinggi.

Abstract

Kale production in Karangmekar Village is relatively high. The income of kale farmers should also be quite high, but in practice farmers experience many obstacles. These constraints resulted in kale farmers often experience losses. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a financial feasibility study to find out whether kale farming provides a decent profit or not. The sampling technique was carried out using the census method, through calculations using financial analysis, Break Even Point (BEP), and R/C Ratio. The results of this study indicate: 1) The income of kale farming in 2 planting periods is equally profitable with the average income of each farmer of Rp. 1,124,366. 2) kale farming has reached the Break Even Point (BEP) with an average production BEP of 41.2 kg and a BEP price of Rp. 61,771. 3) The feasibility level (R/C Ratio) of kale farming in 2 planting periods is financially equally feasible to cultivate, with an average R/C Ratio of 1.33.

Abstract

Karawang Regency has potential in coffee production, this is shown by the increase in land area in 2018 and 2019 by 0.024 ha with a production value of 207.20 tons in the same year with a productivity value of 0.50 Karawang compared to the Pangandaran area which experienced a decline. land area of 12.14 ha and has an increased production value from 2018 to 2019 of 15.60 tons with a productivity value of 0.44. The low coffee production in Tegalwaru District is because farmers who cultivate coffee are still simple, such as the absence of plant care, no fertilizer and pesticides are applied, it is necessary to research on socio-economic factors on production in Tegalwaru District, Karawang Regency. The purpose of this research is to determine the partial and simultaneous influence of socio-economic factors that affect coffee production. Samples were determined using the Slovin formula, sampling using themethod simple random sampling. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis, classical assumption test and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the simultaneous hypothesis testing of independent variables (land area, labor age, length of farming, number of dependents, and education) jointly affected the dependent variable (production). In the partial test, only the land area variable has a partial effect on production.

Abstract

Sanggabuana coffee is a well known Robusta type coffee that has been cultivated in Karawang for years. This commodity has a high tolerance to diseases and has high caffeine, but in some ways has a cheaper price than Arabica type coffee. However, Sanggabuana coffee has been widely cultivated in Karawang and being the main commodity unique to Karawang. The purpose of this research is to know how high the motivation of the farmer to cultivate Sanggabuana coffee and the connection to the farmer motivation on the social-economic factor of cultivating Sanggabuana coffee. This research will be conducted in Karawang district (Case Study of Mekarbuana village, Tegalwaru sub-district) West Java, Indonesia, Using Primer dan secondary data set. Primer data gathered by direct interview to the farmer or selected respondents as a sample. Generally, respondents consist of the producer or Sanggabuana coffee farmer. Secondary data obtained from the department of agriculture in Karawang district, local agencies, and another related department. The sample is selected using Simple Random Sampling (SRS). The analysis method used in this research is Likert’s Summated Ratings and Spearman Rank Correlation. High motivation and social-economic that correlated to the level of education, experienced in farming and the number of family dependent possessed by the farmer as the result of this research. Abstract

Economic activity is currently entering an era called the era of digital economy. Digital economy involves the process of e-business or e-commerce that utilizes the internet network. The rapid growth of internet users in Indonesia has affected the agribusiness sector to adopt e-commerce called e-agribusiness.In line with the development of the internet, a new understanding of electronic marketing paradigm in e-agribusiness in the form of e-marketplace. Some agribusiness e-marketplace sites have been born in Indonesia such as "agromaret.com", "kecipir.com", "limakilo.id", and "agribisnispedia.com". These five agribusiness e-marketplaces each have their own characteristics, advantages and disadvantages. Basically, the success of an e-marketplace depends heavily on the level of involvement of the participating participants. The lack of e-marketplace reliability is often criticized as one of the key factors that reduce the confidence of sellers or buyers to participate. The process of maturing the e-marketplace is needed to influence the user's perception of the quality of the technical service, the quality of the content service and the quality of customer service. Therefore, there is pressure on the provider side to improve the quality of its services and offer something unique above industry standards to achieve a competitive advantage over other agribusiness e-marketplaces. Keywords:e-commerce, e-agribusiness, e-marketplace.
