Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to find out the improvement of the student?s learning activity and completeness by using Gallery Walk learning method on colloid topic at XI IPA 3 grade of SMAN 6 Pekanbaru in academic year 2015/2016. This research is class action research with two cycles research design. The sample of this research was XI IPS 3 grade students. They were given a corrective action in learning process by using Gallery Walk learning method. The data were collected by giving test and observation method. The researcher analyzed the data descriptively by using percentage technique. Based on the result of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of Gallery Walk learning method can improve student?s learning activity and completeness in colloid topic at XI IPA 3 grade of SMAN 6 Pekanbaru. It can be seen by the improvement of student?s learning activity from 57,987% at the first cycle to 72,192% at the second cycle, and learning completeness from 78,78% at the first cycle to 87,87% at the second cycle.Keywords: Gallery Walk Learning Method, Learning Completeness, Learning Activities

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to increase students achievement by implementation of learning method plane problem on learning topic of colloid in XI IPA SMA N 12 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Subject of this research are XI IPA 1 as the experimental class, XI IPA 3 as the control class which were determined randomly after conducting normality and homogeneity test. The experimental group was treated with the implementation of learning method plane problem while the control group without the implementation of learning method plane problem. The data analysis to test the hypothesis was using t-test right side. Based on the data analysis, it is obtaine tcount = 3,92 and ttable = 1,67 with ?=0,05, dk = 69, tcount > ttable is 3,92 > 1,67, It?s mean that the implementation of learning method plane problem can improve students achievement on the subject of colloid in XI IPA SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. The influence of learning method plane problem to improvement of the student achievement as high as 18,21%.Keywords: Learning method plane problem, learning achievement, colloid

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research to increase student achievement on the subject of solubility and solubility product in class XI IPA SMA N 10 Pekanbaru through the implementation of active learning strategy type Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ)). This research was used pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, XI IPA 5 class as experiment class and XI IPA 4 class as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given by implementing active learning strategy type LSQ and the control class was given by discution method. T-test was used to analyse the data. Data of research obtained tcount > ttable (2,503 > 1,67). It means the use of active learning strategy type LSQ could improve student’s achievement on the subject of solubility and solubility product in class XI IPA SMAN 10 Pekanbaru with an increase of 7,81%..Keywords : Active Learning Strategy, Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ), Student’s Achievement, solubility and solubility product

Abstract

Abstract: Theresearchwas conducted become of the low learning achievement of student on the subject of hidrocarbon and petroleum who was not reached the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) was 75 that have been esthabilished in school. The research aims to improve learning achievement of student on the subject of hidrocarbon and petroleum.The samples is class XI MIA 4. The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. Experimental class is a class that is applied to active learnig strategy typeHollywood Squares Review. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Criteria testing H0 accepted if tcount>ttable  dk = n1 + n2 – 2 with α = 0,05. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount>ttable is 3,07 >1.67, means  that the use of active learning strategy typeHollywood Squares Review can improve student learning achievement on the subject of Hidrocarbon and Petroleumin class XI MIA SMAN 2Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,82.

Abstract

Abstrack : This research aimed to know the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning model in improving the student achievement in class XI IPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. This research was a quasi experiment with randomized group pretest-posttes design. The sample of this study was XI IPA 5 as experiment class and XI IPA 6 as control class after being tested for normality and homogeneity tests. Normality test was performed using Liliefors test. The results of the Liliefors normality test obtained for all the data (material prerequisites, pretest, and posttest) normal distribution where Lmaks ≤ Ltabel. The results of the homogeneity test, of Fhitung<Ftabel (1.23 <1.72 with α = 0.05, dk(36.36)) which means that the samples have the same variance (homogeneous). Data analysis technique used was t-test, obtained thitung≥ ttable (2.398> 1.67 with dk = n1 + n2 - 2 and α = 0.05) means that the application of guided inquiry learning model gave effect of 8.02% to the improvement of the student achievement. Abstract

Abstract: The application of Accelerated Learning model aims to improve student achievement on subject of Atomic Structure and Periodic System Elements in class X SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. This type of research is experimental research design with randomized control group pretest-posttest. Samples were students in class X2 as an experimental class and students in class X1 as a control class. Data analysis technique used is the t test. The test results of data analysis obtained t calculated > t table is 3.91> 1.67, meaning that the application of Accelerated Learning model can improve student achievement on subject of Atomic Structure and Periodic System Elements in class X SMAN 14 Pekanbaru with the influence coefficient of 17, 74%.Keywords : Accelerated Learning, Learning Achievement, Atomic Structure and Periodic System Elements

Abstract

Abstract: Research was aimed to improve study result of student on solubility and result times solubility subject has been doing in class XI science SMAN 1 Kampar. This research was a form of experiments research with design pretest-posttest. Sample of the research were student of class XI science 2 as experimental class and class XI science 3 as control class. The experimental class was applied learning model problem base learning while the control class using discussion method. Data were analized using t- test. Result from the data analysis showed t count > t table (1,6923 > 1,68). It means learning model problem based learning can increase study result of student on solubility and result times solubility subject in class XI science SMAN 1 Kampar with category of increase study results on the solubility and result times solubility in class XI science is high category.Key Word: study results, problem based learning, solubility and result time solubility

Abstract

Abstract : Has made the application of active learning strategy of Firing Line to improve student achievement on the topic of Reaction Rate in class XI IPA SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. The research is a type of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class XI IPA3 as the experimental class and students of class XI IPA2 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied to active learning strategy of Firing Line while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount> ttable is 2,53>1,67, means that the application of active learning strategy of Firing Line can improve student learning achievement on the topic of Reaction Rate in class XI SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,78. Meanwhile, the category improvement of student achievement in control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,68.Keywords: Firing Line, Active Learning, Achievement, Reaction Rate.
