Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve ability of understanding mathematical class X3 SMA Negeri 4 Tanah Putih outcomes through of the implementation of the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy in cooperative learning. This research is a colaborative class action research. This type of research is the classroom action research with two cycle. The subject of this research were the students of class X3 SMA Negeri 4 Tanah Putih that consist of 11 boys and 12 girls. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheet and students mathematical understanding of abilty test. Based on the result of the research showed that implementation of learning process on cycle I and II had happened improvement learning process. Based on data analysis ability of understanding mathematical students in classical class X3 SMA Negeri 4 Tanah Putih, obtained an average N-gain ability of understanding mathematical students on the first cycle is 0,40 and second cycle is 0,80. Average N-gain ability of understanding mathematical students in crease in cycle I and II, it show that Average N-gain ability of understanding mathematical students more than 0. It shows ability of understanding mathematical students with implementation of Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy in cooperative learning is increased. Based on the result of this research could be concluded that the implementation of Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy in cooperative learning can improve the learning process and improve ability of understanding mathematical of class X3 of SMA Negeri 4 Tanah Putih in the second semester academic years 2015/2016.Key Words: Ability of Mathematical Understanding, Think-Talk-Write (TTW)Strategy,Cooperative learning, Clasroom Action Research

Abstract

Abstract: This research is background based on mathematics learning outcomes in class VIIIc students of SMP Telekomunikasi Pekanbaru which is still under Minimum Criteria of mastery learning that has been settled by the school that is 75. This type of research is the classroom action research with 2 cycles. The subject in this research were 16 male students and 12 female students with heterogeneous ability. The aims of this research are to improve the learning process and improve student’s mathematics learning outcomes in class VIIIc of SMP Telekomunikasi Pekanbaru in odd semester of the 2016/2017 academic year based on KD 1.3 Understanding relations and functions and on KD 1.4 Determining the value of the function. This research was conducted on August 29, 2016 until 21 September 2016. The data in research were obtained from the observations of teacher and student activity and student outcomes by analyzing qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the data analysis of teacher and student activity after applying the cooperative learning model of Think Pair Square Structural Approach, teacher and student activities have done well and had an improvement at each meeting. Based on the data analysis of student learning outcomes, there is an improve in student learning outcomes in each cycle. Based on the analysis of KKM achievement, there were 12 students who reached KKM at UH 1 with percentage 42.85% and and 16 students at UH II with percentage of 57.14%. Based on the result of research show that, there is an improve of students who get very high criteria and the decrease of students who get enough and low criteria. From this research it can be concluded that the implementation model of Think Pair Square structural approach can improve the learning process and also to improve student’s of mathematics learning outcomes in class VIIIc of SMP Telekomunikasi Pekanbaru.Key words: Mathematics learning outcome, Cooperative learning, Think Pair Square,Classaction research

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research is to improve the learning process and to improve mathematics achievement by applying the cooperative learning technique of jingling studs. The research is classroom action research (PTK) that consist of two cycles and at the end of every cycle carried out mathematics achievement test . The subject of this research is students of class VIII5 SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2015/2016, there are 36 students in the class, consist of 17 boys and 19 girls. Data collecting through observation and written test. The observation was doing for the observation of learning activity of teacher and students, of student’s attitude and of student’s skill. While written test which in daily test form was doing to evaluate student’s knowledge.Base on the result of analysis, the percentage of students passing the Minimun Completeness Criteria (MCC) on base score, daily test I (first cycle), daily test II (second cycle) were respectively 16,76%, 66,67%, and 75%. The percentage of MCC achievement also indicates the increase after the implementation, thus it can be said that the students’ learning outcomes also increase. The result of research conclude that applying the cooperative learning technique of jingling studs can improves the learning process and improves mathematics achievement of VIII5 SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2015/2016.Key words : Mathematics learning outcome, Cooperative learning technique of jingling studs, Classroom action research.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and increase the student?s mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of Learning in Cooperative Learning of Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS). This type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class VIII3 SMP Negeri 32 Pekanbaru in the second semester of the 2016/2017 academic year with the subject of as many as 39 students.. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research is the Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Worksheet. The instrument data collector used in this research is the observation sheet and math achievement test. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the result of the research showed that implementation of learning process on cycle II had happened improvement from implementation on cycle I. Weakness on cycle I is improved on implementation cycle II according with planning of improvement after reflection cycle I. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to daily test II. The number of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria on basic scor, daily test I and daily test II are respectively 15 person (38,46%), 20 person (51,28%) and 27 person (69,23%). Results of this research indicates that application of Learning in Cooperative Learning of TSTS can improve learning process and increase mathematics learning outcomes from the students at class VIII3 SMP Negeri 32 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2016/2017 at Basic Competencies 4.3 Using the relationship of center angular, arc length, wide arc in solving problems, and Basic Competencies 4.4 Calculate the length of the tangent of two circle alliance.Keywords: Cooperative learning, Cooperative Learning of TSTS, student?s mathematics learning outcomes, Classroom Action Research

This research aims to improve the learning process and improve learning result in mathematics in grade X MIA 4 of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru by applying the Discovery Learning model. The subject of this research were the students in the class X MIA 4 of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru that consist of 19 boys and 21 girls at the second semester of academic year 2016/2017. Implementation of the learning process before held action, there is a problem of learning that is still focused on the teacher so that students can not find the concept of learning. To solve this problem requires a learning model where students can actively discover teir own learning concepts. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in desciptive narative, while the students’ mathematic tests were analyzed in statistic desciptive. The descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycles and improve the students’ achievement of learning mathematic in grade X MIA 4 of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2016/2017.Keywords : Students’ Math Achievement, Discovery Learning Model, Clasroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and increase the student?s mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of Cooperative Learning Structural Approach Numbered Heads Together (NHT). This research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class X Automation 1 SMKN 1 Batam in the first semester of the 2016/2017 academic year with the subject of as many as 40 students, consist of 26 boys and 14 girls. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors.The instrument data collector used in this research is the observation sheet and math achievement test. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the result of the activity techer and students can be concluded that this research can improve the learning process and based on the result of the Minimum Criteria of Achievement can be concluded that this reserch can increase the student?s mathematic learning outcomes. Result ofthis research indicates that implementation of Cooperative Learning Structural Approach Numbered Heads Together (NHT) can improve learning process and increase mathematics learning outcomes from the students at class X Automation 1 SMKN 1 Batam in the first semester academic years 2016/2017 on main material systems of linear equations and inequalities.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve mathematics achievement in SD Negeri 013 Sintong by implement cooperative learning model approach to structural Think Pair Square. Subjects were students grade III who have the academic ability of the heterogeneous. This research is a class action research with two cycles. Each a cycle has four stages, the stages are planning, action, observation, and reflection. The result from the observation page shows that teacher-student activities had performed well after action has been made. An increase in the number of students who achieved at UH KKM end of each cycle compared to the number of students who achieve KKM on base score, the number of students who scored 20 and 30 more than to the development of the number of students who received grades 5 and 10. An action is deemed successful when the number of students that reached the Minimum Mastery Criteria had increased by the first and second daily exams. The number of students that reached Minimum Mastery Criteria from the base score, the first and the second daily exams, in that order are 15%, 30%, dan 55%. The result of this research shows that the Think Pair Square Cooperative Learning Approaches can improve the mathematics achievement from the students of class III SD Negeri 013 Sintong at the second semester of academic years 2014/2015.
