Abstract

Abstract : This research is about the application of active learning the firing line strategy that has conducted to know the increasing of student’s learning achievement on chemical equilibrium topic in class XI IPA in 10 Senior High School Pekanbaru. This research was experiment by design pretest and posttest. The sample determined randomly after doing normality and homogeneity test of 5 classes as population and then class XI IPA 5 as experiment class and XI IPA 4 as class group. The experiment group was applied by the application of active learning the firing line strategy. The data analysis technique used was t - test. Based on the tabulation of last data obtained tcount>ttable was 2,36 ≥ 1,67 meant that the application of active learning the firing line strategy could increase the student’s learning achievement on Solubility and Constanta Solubility Product topic in class XI IPA in 10 Senior High School Pekanbaru. Category increase the student’s learning achievement trhough active learning the firing line strategy on the subject of chemical equilibrium is a high category of 0,77.Keywords: The Firing Line, Active Learning, Achievement, Chemical Equilibirium

Abstract

Akar tapak kuda (Bauhinia hullettii Prain) merupakan tumbuhan  dari genus Bauhinia yang banyak dijumpai di Indonesia. Tumbuhan Bauhinia dilaporkan kaya akan senyawa flavonoid dan stilbenoid. Dua senyawa flavanon (1 dan 2) dan senyawa fenolik (3) terdapat pada kulit batang dan daun akar tapak kuda.Uji aktivitas antioksidan dari tiga senyawa terhadap radikal DPPH menunjukkan aktifitas antioksidan yang sangat kuat untuk senyawa 1 (5,7,3’,5’-tetrahidroksi flavanon)  dan  3 (asam 3,4,5-trihidroksibenzoat).  Senyawa 2 (5,7,4’-trihidroksi-6-metilflavanon) tidak aktif sebagai antioksidan dengan IC50>1000 µg/mL. Senyawa 1 dan 3 diketahui lebih aktif daripada Vitamin C dengan IC50 masing-masing 6,33 dan 1,26 µg/mL. Kata Kunci: Bauhinia hullettiiPrain, flavonoid, fenolik, aktivitas antioksidan

Abstract

This research is an innovative development on teaching materials in order to intensify the movement of "Satu Guru Satu Buku (SAGUSABU)" and to prepare skillful media users on mastering Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The resulting prototype is an interactive e-module named Chemistry Magazine which have two editions: ionic equilibrium and pH of buffer solution and solubility equilibrium. Applying research and development study design with Plomp model, assessment and suggestion by validator team on material substance aspect, instructional design, display (visual communication) and software utilization using validation sheet are in valid category. Percentage of legality score by media validator is 91.70% for ionic equilibrium and pH of buffer solution edition; and 94.18% for solubility equilibrium edition, whereas by material validator is 93.75% and 94.45% on each. Users response score rate through questionnaire for teachers and students on ionic equilibrium edition and pH of buffer solution edition are 87.08% and 88.45%; meanwhile 94,25% and 91,43%  are obtained from solubility equilibrium edition.

Abstract

This research is implementation of the results of development research in previous year. The aim is to investigate the effectiveness (impact) of using the valid and practical interactive media based on Lectora Inspireto the quality of Chemistry Science Learning in Junior High Schools/Madrasah Tsanawiyah (especially students’s activities and learning outcomes). The research is an experiment with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. To know the students’s learning outcomes by using right-hand t-test and to know their learning activities by using observation sheet. The samples were determined randomly after normality and homogeneity test. VIII-A-3 was experiment class and VIII-A-4 was control class in this research at MTs Dar El Hikmah Pekanbaru. The experimental class was treated by using of Lectora Inspiremedia while the control class was not. Based on data analysis’s results, obtained tct = 8,14 and ttable = 1,67 with α = 0,05, dk = 72. tct> ttable which is 8,14 > 1,67 means the using of Lectora Inspiremedia can improved the students’s learning outcomes. Beside that, the students’s learning activities in experimental class is in a very good range while in control class is in a good range.

Abstract

Abstract: Research on active learning strategy group to group exchange (GGE) has been implemented in SMAN 11 Pekanbaru. The research aimed to know the increase student’s achievement learning and the influence of GGE strategy on students achievement learning on the subject of Chemical Equilibrium in XI IPA SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. The type of research is experimental research with pretest-posttest design . XI IPA SMAN 11 Pekanbaru consisting of 3 classes performed normality and homgeneity test using prerequisite data so that obtained 2 randomly selected samples that is student in class XI IPA 2 as an experimental class and students in class XI IPA 3 as a control class. The experimental class is the class that applied GGE active learning strategy while the control class is not applied GGE active learning strategy.This research instrument is a quastion of chemical equilibrium that has been tested validation and reliability and obtained valid and reliable data as research instrument. The hypothesis testing using U Mann-Whitney test obtained z arithmetic > z table is 3.89> 1, 64, based on hypothesis testing concluded that the implementation of GGE active learning strategy can increase student achievement learning on the subject of chemical equilibrium in class XI IPA SMAN 11 Pekanbaru . Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to increase student achievementon the subject ofsolubility and solubility productinclassXI IPA SMA N 1 Kampar. This research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted in SMA N 1 Kampar.The samples of this research were the students of class Xl IPA 1 as the control class and students of class XI IPA 2 as the experimental class.Experimental class is a class that is applied active learning strategy instant assessment, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Abstract

Abstract: Evaluation is one of the component parts that holds a very important role in learning system. One evaluation conducted is evaluation of students learning result. This study aims to determine the quality of the best items semester chemical subject exam. The object in this study is the second semester exam which amount 40 questions and the answer sheet of the students at class XII MIA SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Academic Year 2016/2017 as many as 71 students. This research is an ex post facto, meaning that the researcher didn’t manipulate the symptoms of research and the symptoms were already present in the real condition. Analysis in this research is qualitative analysis and the quantitative analysis (the difficulty degree, the differentiator, distractor function, validity and reliability). According to the analysis, known that from 40 questions, there are 30 questions acceptable of the matter criteria, 32 questions acceptable of the construction criteria, and 25 questions acceptable of the language/culture criteria. While in terms of this test having poor quantitative quality shown by the difficulty degree was good, the differentiator was not good, distractor function was not function effectively, the validity was enough and the reliability was low. From the quantitative analysis is 33 questions was repaired and 7 questions was rejected. Semester exam questions of class XII MIA SMA Negeri 1 Tapung needs a lot of improvement both in terms qualitative or quantitative.Keywords: analysis, qualitative, quantitative, distractor, validity, reliability.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop a student worksheet based on problem based learning on reduction and oxidation reaction subject in the Chemistry Education Study Program. The result of this research and development is student worksheet product which can be used by students in the process of learning. The method used in this research consists of 4 development stages namely define, design, develop, and disseminate or adapted into 4-P Method, which is pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. The development model is modified by the researchers only until the development stage. Recapitulation of the average score of the assessment of the four aspects of student worksheet by the validator team, content, language, presentation, and successive graphics have 89.16%, 91.67%, 90%, and 89.56%. Thus, the overall average score of student worksheet validation the oxidation-based reduction reaction based on Problem Based Learning is 89.59%. Based on the eligibility criteria of learning tools in Riduwan (2012), the criteria of 89.59% analysis included in valid category.Keywords : Student worksheet, Problem Based Learning, Reduction and Oxidation Reaction.

Abstract

Abstract: The research about the learning cell type of cooperative learning model has been conducted in SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to improve the student achievement on the topic chemical bond in class X MIPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is experimental research with experiment design randomized control group pretest-posttest. Sample of the research consisted of two classes, a class X MIPA4 as an experimental class (implemented the learning cell type of cooperative learning model) and class X MIPA3 as the control class (without the learning cell type of cooperative learning model). T-test was used as analysis technique. Based on the data analysis obtained t > t table (1.80 > 1.67), meaning that the application of the learning cell type of cooperative learning model can improve the student achievement on the subject chemical bond in class X MIPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The improvement of the student achievement category (N-Gain) as high as 0.73.Keywords: Student Achievement, The Learning Cell Type, Cooperative Learning, Chemical Bond.

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to improve the learning achievement of student on the subject of Colloid in class XI IPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class XI IPA 1 as the experiment class and students of class XI IPA 3 as the control class randomly determined after the test of normality and homogeneity test. Experiment class is a class that is applied to active learning strategy of lucky wheel while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount > ttable is 4,78502 > 1,67, means that the use of learning active strategy of lucky whell can improve the learning achievement of students on the subject Colloid in class XI IPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru with an increase of 22,92%.Keywords :Learning Achievement, Active Learning Strategy of Lucky Wheel, Colloid
