Abstract

Abstrak Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian quasy eksperiment design dengan rancangan nonequivalent group design. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh strategi terhadap keterampilan membaca wacana narasi siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik tes dan non tes. Teknik tes berupa pretest dan pretest, sedangkan teknik non tes berupa lembar observasi.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dengan perolehan thitung 2,544 > ttabel 2,021. Selain itu hasil uji T Sig. (2-tailed) yaitu sebesar 0,015 < 0,05 maka Ha diterima atau terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna pada penerapan strategi KWL terhadap keterampilan membaca wacana narasi siswa Kata Kunci: strategi KWL, keterampilan membaca, wacana narasi Abstract The type of this study is quasy experiment design by nonequivalent control group design. The purpose of this study is knowing the existance influence of KWL (Know-Want To Know ? Learned) Strategy to Reading Ability Narrative Discourse of 4th Student Understanding In Elementary School 1 Slempit Kedamean Gresik. Data collecting tecnique is done by doing test and nontest. Technique test is doing by pretest and posttest. Nontest technique is doing by observation. Analysis of data instrument is done by validity test, reliability test. Then the post-study data analysis is done by normality test and hypotesis test. The result of this study showed that tresult 2,544 > ttable2,021. Beside result of Sig. (2-tailed) 0,015 < 0,05 it can be concluded that Ha can be accepted or there is significant difference in application of KWL strategy to student reading ability narrative discourse.
