Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to know the improvement of students learning achievement in Hydrocarbon subject at class X of SMAN 2 Kampar by applying guided discovery learning model. This research used Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest design. This research was conducted in SMAN 2 Kampar. The samples of the research were the students of class X2 as experimental class and the students of class X5 as control class. Experimental class is a class which was applied the guided discovery learning model while control class was not given the treatment. Data analysis technique that is used in this research is t-test. Based on the result of the data analysis, it found out that tcount > ttable which is 5.54 > 1.68. It means that the application of guided discovery learning model can improve students’ learning achievement in Hydrocarbon subject at class X of SMAN 2 Kampar with high category of the improvement of learning achievement (N-Gain) which is 0.74.Key Words: Guided Discovery, Learning Achievement, Hydrocarbons.

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to improve the learning achievement of student on the subject of Colloid in class XI IPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class XI IPA 1 as the experiment class and students of class XI IPA 3 as the control class randomly determined after the test of normality and homogeneity test. Experiment class is a class that is applied to active learning strategy of lucky wheel while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount > ttable is 4,78502 > 1,67, means that the use of learning active strategy of lucky whell can improve the learning achievement of students on the subject Colloid in class XI IPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru with an increase of 22,92%.Keywords :Learning Achievement, Active Learning Strategy of Lucky Wheel, Colloid

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to develop the student’s activity paper on the subject of reaction rate. The type of this research was reserach and development (R & D) with the 4-D development model which include Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research was to develop phase and be continue with a definite tryout. This research was conducted in FKIP Riau University. The object of this research was the students’ activity paper based on the concept hierarchy. The data analysis technique used for this research was descriptive statistic descriptive. The descriptive analysis done by calculated the percentage of validation value. The average score of valuation to four expediency aspect of student’s activity sheet by validator’s team, such as the content properness, the language properness, course and the graphical has expediency value continued is 86.88%, 91.25%, 81.25% and 85.93%. Thus, the average score totality of student’s activity paper based on the problem solving subject of salt hydrolysis is 90% which is in valid criteria, means that the LKPD Developed is proper to be use. Whereas percentage response of student or collegian is 93% to LKPD with positive criteria.Key Words: Student Activity Sheet, Concept Hierarchy, and Reaction Rate

The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class XI IPA 1 as the experiment class and students of class XI IPA 3 as the control class randomly determined after the test of normality and homogeneity test. Experiment class is a class that is applied to active learning strategy of lucky wheel while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount > ttable is 2,35 > 1,66, means that the use of learning active strategy of lucky whell can improve the learning achievement of students on the subject Chemical Equilibrium in class XI MIA MAN 1 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract: The application of active learning strategy instant assessment type to improve the students achievement on the subject of chemical equilibrium class XI science SMAN 5 Pekanbaru has been done. The research is a experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of six classes grade. The sample were two classes, where class XI Science 2 as an experimental class and the class Xi science 3 as an control class. They were selected after normality and homogeneity test. Experimental class is a class that was applied to active learning strategy instant assessment type while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test and gain normalized test. Based on data analysis obtained tcount > ttable (3,74>1,67), means that application of active learning strategy instant assessment type can improve student learning achievement on the topic of chemical equilibrium class XI Senior High School (SMA) 5 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,80. The category improvement of student achievement in control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,54.Keywords :Learning Achievement, Active Learning Strategy Instant Assessment Type, Chemical Equilibriu.

Abstract

Abstract : This research is a Research and Development (R & D). The development process has been done with reference to ADDIE model with steps of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Research was conducted in FKIP UR. This research aims to obtain the learning media chemistry using by powtoon on subject of the atomic structure. The research and development with ADDIE model was conducted only until Development step, because the purpose of this research was limited to develop and produce a feasiblity the learning media chemistry using by powtoon to be implemented based on validator assessment. Feasibility of the learning media chemistry using by powtoon was evaluated from feasibility of the design, pedagogy, content, ease of use,the view and programming Of the learning media chemistry validation result of validation by media experts and material obtained an average value as 86,31% which showed that learning media chemistry using by powtoon which developed was feasiblity. The result of the development has been test in two teachers and 20 students, average score percentase obtained by 82,14%.Key Words : Development of learning media, PowToon, and Atomis Structure

Abstract

Abstract: The research about the use of domino card game media has been conducted in SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to improve the student achievement on the subject oxsidation reduction reaction in class X SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is experimental research with experiment design randomized control group pretest-posttest. Sample of the research consisted of two classes, a class X.3 as an experimental class (use domino card game media) and class X.2 as the control class (without domino card game media). T-test was used as analysis technique. Based on the data analysis obtained t > t table i.e 3,24>1.66, so it can be concluded that use domino card game can improve the student achievement on the subject of oxidation reduction reactions in class X SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru up to 10,45%.Keywords: Learning Achievement, Domino Card Game

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to increase student achievement by application ofcooperative learning model POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) on learning topic ofthermochemical in XI IPA SMA N 9 Pekanbaru. This is an experimental research withrandomized control group pretest-posttest design. Subject of this research are XI IPA 4as the experimental class, XI IPA 3 as the control class which were determinedrandomly after conducting normality and homogeneity test. The experimental groupwas treated with the application of cooperative learning model POE (Predict, Observe,Explain) while the control group without the application cooperative learning modelPOE (Predict, Observe, Explain). The data analysis to test the hypothesis was using ttestright side. Based on the data analysis, it is obtaine tcount = 3,53 and ttable = 2,00 withα=0,05, dk = 73, tcount > ttable is 3,53 > 2,00, It’s mean that the application ofcooperative learning model POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) can improve studentsachievement on the subject of thermochemical in XI IPA SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract: Research on the implementation of cooperative learning Numbered Head Together has been done to achieve student’s mastery learning on the subject of rate of reaction in class XI MIA 1 SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru. Form of research is pra-experiment research with One-Shot Study Case design. data retrieval time from the date of 1 November to 17 November 2014. The sample was selected from a class of two classes, namely class XI MIA 1. Data analysis technique used is to calculate presentation of classical mastery learning. Based on the final results of data processing using acquired mastery learning classical is 85,71%, it’s means that the implementation of cooperative learning Numbered Head Together can achieve student’s mastery learning on the subject of rate of reaction in class XI MIA 1 SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru.
