Abstract

Abstract: Research on the application of the Structured Numbered Heads learning model was done to improve students learning achievement in the topics of the atomic structure and the periodic system of elements in class X MIA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. This research was experiment based on pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, which are X MIA 4 as experiment class and X MIA 3 as control clas that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was a class treated by applying the Structured Numbered Heads learning model. Analyzed of data used t-test. Results of the analysis it was found that tscore>ttable (3,58>1,67), it means the Structured Numbered Heads learning model can improve students learning achievement on the structure of atoms and the periodic system of elements in class X MIA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru with an increase of 14,14%.Key Words: Research on the application of the Structured Numbered Heads learning model,Learning achievement

Abstract

Abstract: The results of the study indicate that the use of colloid domino card game media can improving students learning achievement in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu. Forms of this research was experimental research with radomized design of control group pretest-posttest. The population of this study were all students in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu. After being tested for normality and homogeneity tests, it determined the sample of the study were students of class XI MIA4 as an experimental class and students of class X1 MIA3 as the control class. Technique that used to data analysis was t-test with the criteria that the data processed in normal distribution. Based on the results of data analysis test, we obtained tcount>ttable is 3.38> 1.67, it meant that use of colloid domino card game media could improved learning achievement in the class XI SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with a value of N-gain 0.71 while the control class included in the medium category with a value of N-gain of 0.60.Key Words: Learning Achievement, Colloid Domino Card Game

Abstract

Abstract: The research about implementation of learning model Learning Cycle 7E has been done with purpose to improve learning result of students on the colloid subject at the class XI IPA SMAN 6 Pekanbaru. Learning model Learning Cycle 7E is cycle model that involve student actively through the 7 phase in learning process that is elicit, engage, explore, explain, elaborate, evaluate and extend. This research plan is experiment research by using Design Randomized Control Group pretest-posttest. The sample consist of two class that homogeneous, that is class XI IPA 4 as experiment class and class XI IPA 6 as control class. Experiment class constitute class that given implementation of learning model Learning Cycle 7E treatment, whereas control class that not given. The technic of data analyze used is t-test. Tabulation of data result obtained arithmetic-t bigger than table-t that is 3,43 bigger than 1,67, that can concluded that implementation learning model Learning Cycle 7E can improve student learning result on the colloid subject at the class XI IPA SMAN 6 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Learning Model Learning Cycle 7E, Learning Result, Colloid.

Abstract

Abstract : Research on the application of cooperative learning strategy word square has been done to know the improvement student’s achievement on the topic of compound’s chemical nomenclatur in class X MIA SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. This from of research is quasi-experiment research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class X MIA 4 as the experimental class and homogeneity test. Experiment class that ware subjected of cooperative learning strategy word square, while the control class is a class that untreated cooperative learning strategy word square . Based on the results obtained tvalue final calculation is 3,36 greater than ttable is 1,66. Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research to increase student achievement on the subject of solubility and solubility product in class XI IPA SMA N 10 Pekanbaru through the implementation of active learning strategy type Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ)). This research was used pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, XI IPA 5 class as experiment class and XI IPA 4 class as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given by implementing active learning strategy type LSQ and the control class was given by discution method. T-test was used to analyse the data. Data of research obtained tcount > ttable (2,503 > 1,67). It means the use of active learning strategy type LSQ could improve student’s achievement on the subject of solubility and solubility product in class XI IPA SMAN 10 Pekanbaru with an increase of 7,81%..Keywords : Active Learning Strategy, Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ), Student’s Achievement, solubility and solubility product

Abstract

Abstract : This Research aims to develop Student Activities Worksheets Based on Hierarchy of Concept on the Solubility and Solubility Product subject valid based on the feasibility aspect of content, language, serve and graphic. The type of this research is research and development (R and D) with reference to the development process of 4-D model. The subject of this research is student activities worksheets based on hierarchy of concept. Instrument of data collection are validation given to four validators, and from analysis data obtained by the validity of aspect of content, aspect of language, aspect of serve, and aspect of graphic are 91,87%, 93,75%, 95,31%, and 92,19% with valid category. Student activities worksheets which validated by the validators tested to 30 students and get response result with percentage of 87,54% with positive category. Based on the result of data analysis can be concluded that student activities worksheets based on hierarchy of concept that produced is valid and can be used for the subject solubility and solubility product.Keywords: Solubility and Solubility Product, Hierarchy of Concept, Student ActivitiesWorksheet

Abstract

Abstract : This research is a Research and Development (R & D). The development process has been done with reference to ADDIE model with steps of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Research was conducted in FKIP UR. This research aims to obtain the learning media chemistry using by powtoon on subject of the atomic structure. The research and development with ADDIE model was conducted only until Development step, because the purpose of this research was limited to develop and produce a feasiblity the learning media chemistry using by powtoon to be implemented based on validator assessment. Feasibility of the learning media chemistry using by powtoon was evaluated from feasibility of the design, pedagogy, content, ease of use,the view and programming Of the learning media chemistry validation result of validation by media experts and material obtained an average value as 86,31% which showed that learning media chemistry using by powtoon which developed was feasiblity. The result of the development has been test in two teachers and 20 students, average score percentase obtained by 82,14%.Key Words : Development of learning media, PowToon, and Atomis Structure

Abstract

Abstract : Research has been done to get student’s mastery learning with by using model Cooperative Listening Team inclass XI Science SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. This research is pra-experimentre search with one-shot study case design. The sampel use random from the four class XI Science. This research was conducted in class XI Science IPA 4, the for two month’s from november to desember 2014. Data analysis technique by using five formula mastery: mastery individual learning objectives (KTPI), mastery each of the learning objectives (KMTP), classical mastery learning objectives (KTPK), mastery learning of individual (KI), mastery learning classical (CBC). Research for the final show that classical mastery learning objectives 80% and mastery learning classical is 91,667%. It’s means that the application of cooperative learning model of Listening Team can achieve student’s mastery learning on the subject of chemical equiblirium inclass XI IPA SMAN 12 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Listening Team, mastery learning, chemical equilibrium

Abstract

Abstract: Research on the implementation of cooperative learning model type round table to increase learning achievement has been done on the subject of the rate of reaction in class X SMAN 12 pekanbaru.  This research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted in SMAN 12 pekanbaru The samples of this research were the students of class X MIA 3 as the experimental class and  students of class XI MIA 4 as  the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied model of cooperative learning type round table, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic> ttable is 2,60> 1,68, means that the application of model cooperative learning type round table can improve student achievement on the subject of the rates of reaction in class X MIA SMAN 12 pekanbaru. The sample consists of two classes. They are class XI Science 1 as an experimental class and class XI Science 2 as a control class which were decided randomly after doing normality and homogenity test. Experimental class is a class that is applied cooperative learning model Course Review Horay (CRH), while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic> ttable is 3> 1,67, means that the application of cooperative learning model Course Review Horay (CRH) can improve student achievement on the subject of termokimia class XI MIA  SMAN 7Pekanbaru, increase learning of 12,5%.   Keywords: cooperative learning, Course Review Horay (CRH)
