Abstract

Electric Railway (KRL) is a train that is based on eletrification system. The electrification system in the KRL supplies electrical energy to the train locomotive and several other carriage units, so the train can run. Electrical energy can be either AC or DC source. There are two electrical systems to support the performance of KRL, propulsion system and auxiliary system. The propulsion system is a driving system and than the auxiliary system is the system that handles the electrical load on KRL. In this research, discuss about the loss of propulsion system on KRL LAA Electric DC, AC Traction Motor. The propulsion system consists of several components, such as pantograph, circuit breaker, capacitor filter, IGBT VVVF inverters and AC traction motors. The component has different losses and different efficiencies. There are five test conditions for AC traction voltage inputs of 160.5V, 321V, 493.9V, 635V and 645V. By calculating using equations, from the five test conditions it can be seen that the propulsion system has the lowest power loss with the highest efficiency at the input voltage of AC 635V traction motors, which obtained the power loss of inverter VVVF IGBT 41.996kW with the efficiency 90.67% and the power loss of AC traction motor 18.219kW with the efficiency 91.45%.

Abstract

The development of communication technology in Indonesia is currently growing, one of which is cellular telecommunications technology. Cellular communication technology developed from the first generation to the present time has entered the 4th generation known as 4G LTE. The writing of this final project discusses the analysis and optimization of the 4G LTE network of Telkomsel seluer operators in Jombang, East Java. Measurements were made using the drive test method to test the 4G LTE network in the inner area of Jombang district. This testing is done to check the network in the inner area whether it is optimal in providing network to customers. This drive test uses a nemo handy device and to analyze drive test results using a nemo analyzer. The results measured when doing a drive test are RSRP, SNR, and throughput parameters. The results of the RSRP parameter get 95% of the total sample RSRP values -100 dBm to 0 dBm. The SNR parameter gets 94% of the total sample which has a value of 0 dB to 25 dB. The throughput parameter gets 95% of the total sample value above 1Mbps. After a drive test and analysis there are 4 areas that need to be optimized because in terms of quality or SNR and the data speed or throughput is below the standards applied by the operator.

Abstract

Along with technological advances, it is estimated that the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) of Kulon Progo Regency increases annually by 7.6%, and the population growth of Kulon Progo regency increases annually by 0.9%. However, after assuming with Muara Bungo Regency as a reference to GRDP growth and Population of Kulon Progo Regency due to the influence of the Establishment of New Yogyakarta International Airport (NYIA) in 2019, the population growth every year is 15.78%. While GRDP in 2018 until 2019 equals to 82.91% and next year equals to 7.6 %. Load forecasting the burden for the next ten years by using multiple linear regression affected by NYIA in 2019, the loading of the 150 kV Wates substation is only up to 2021 for the power transformer I of 24.83 MW and the power transformer II 55.40 MW. So it is estimated that for 2022, power transformer I and power transformer II of 150 kV Wates Substation are no longer able to serve the loading. Then, in 2021 a feeder shift and uprating power transformer I need to be conducted. In 2024 a power transformer III is needed. In that year the feed formation from power transformer I and power transformer II was changed to power transformer III.

Abstract

Electricity needs for each year has increased, this is due to an increase in people's lives. Reliability is an important factor in the operation of distribution system and is an important factor in the continuity of the waiter to the consumer. Several parameters are used as reference to megukur level of reliability of a distribution system that is SAIFI (avarage interuption of frequency index system) is a calculation of the number of failures or disruptions average - average one year, SAIDI (System of interruption Duration Index) index median duration - average system interruption during the year. In this study was also performed calculations eens (Expected Energy Not Supplied) This calculation is done because of disturbance at each feeder there is energy that can not be channeled, it can happen losses. Based on the calculation and analysis that the reliability index is obtained there are some feeder Rayon Panam categorized as not reliable because it has a high SAIFI value not in accordance with the target SPLN No. 68-2 1986 and IEEE std 1366-2003. Energy losses that can not be distributed annually sizeable each feeder. This indicates a feeder located at Panam Rayon considered less reliable, to the need for repairs and maintenance
