Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study was conducted in November 2014 in the Sawah Village, KuantanTengah District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau province . This research aims : 1 ) todetermine the pond area before and after the PETI . 2 ) to determine the production of fishbefore and after the PETI .Population in this study is that fish farmers amounted to 14 people and 4 peopleinformant. So that the sample collection method using census method . PETI presence causesextensive pool down 34% from 10.410 m2 (43 units) to 6.860 m2 (28 units). PETI presencecauses fish production decreased 41 % from 110.400 kg to 64.050 kg/year. This is becausethe pond fish farmers polluted by waste dumped by illegal mining activities.Keywords: PETI, extensive pond fish farmers, fish production.

Abstract

This research was conducted on 14 th May until 21 th May 2013. This study aims todetermine how much capital invested by ornamental fish farmers, the total of cost production, andrevenues and profits business member Diamond Fish Club. The method used in this study is asurvey method with six respondents.The results of this study indicate the average total investment in the plant by ornamental fishfarmers is Rp 11.128.367,-/harvest. The average total of cost production (TC) of Rp 4.672.672,-/harvest and the average revenue earned by farmers Rp 9.357.833,-/harvest with an averagebusiness profit of Rp 4.685.161/harvest.Keyword : Tampan Village, Total Investment, Ornamental Fish

Abstract

Research on the aquacultur of Jelawat fish (Leptobarbus hoevanii) in the cages held in February 2015 at the Ranah village and Kampar subdistrict Kampar Regency. This research was aimed to find out how much production costs, how large the contribution costs of seeds and feed costs to the total cost of production as well as how large the profits obtained from the cultivation Jelawat fish in the cages. Based on the results of the research the costs of production incurred amounting to Rp. 40.608.500, the average contribution to the total feed cost is 80.5% while seeds cost total contribution towards total cost was 9.99% and the average profit earned by farmers is Rp. 6.515.500/harves. Thus the business in the cages of Jelawat fish profitable and useful the continued.Keywords: Jelawat Fish, of production contribution, advantage

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the fish production of Bilih in the Napitupulu/year, describing marketing and to know the area of marketing, analyze costs marketing. The method used in this research is survey method.Results of this study is Bilih fish production in Napitupulu during the season many are as much as 330 kg/day. In the season middle is 245 kg/day, whereas during the fishing season does not Bilih fish production is 165 kg/day. So strata Bilih fish production in Napitupulu is 246 kg/day. Products of Bilih fish that there are two types of Bilih fish that are fresh and fried Bilih fish that. The production of Bilih fresh is 98 kg/day for Sibolga marketing, Bilih fried fish production is 49 kg/day with marketing West Sumatra. Income of fishermen who use fishing gear floating chart is Rp 4,827,085/month, fishermen using nets is Rp 514,861/month. The channel of marketing for Bilih fish are: producer/fisherman – traders – Sibolga retailers – consumers Sibolga. The channel of marketing Bilih fried fish are: traders/processors – retailers West Sumatra – consumers of West Sumatra. The highest marketing costs are on traders that is Rp 64,752,779/month with receipt Rp 11,197,221/month. Abstract

The research on bioeconomy mackerel was held on March 23, 2014 untilApril 4, 2014 at Belawan Ocean Fishing Port. Aimed of this research was todetermine the potential magnitude of mackerel fisheries resources throughbioeconomy analysis that includes biological aspects (MSY) and economicaspects (MEY) and utilization level of mackerel.This study used surveymetodhology by purposive sampling to 5 people that use purse seine.Results of the research showed that the arrestable of the biological aspectsof mackerel that able to catch was 202.44 tonnes with 2098 trips in effort, whilethe economic aspect, mackerel which must be captured in order to earn a profit of199.98 tonnes by 2091 trip in effort at the same time. Based on bioeconomyanalysis, the next effort was reducted the effort level 6459 trips and number ofthe catch 4759 tonnes in order to suistainable return waters resources. It is alsodiscovered the mackerel utilization rate in Belawan Ocean Fishing Port was96.00% which was overfishing.The Keyword: Bioeconomy, mackerel, Belawan Ocean Fishing Port

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted on September - October 2014 in Sibolga City of North Sumatra Province. The method used was a survey by analyzing secondary data, the data used is the chain of data (time series data) of the 2009 to 2013. The purpose of this study is to determine the contribution of the fisheries sub-sector of the economy and labor force absorption, knowing whether the fisheries sub-sector and fisheries sub-sector labor force classified base or no base , and to determine the impact of the fisheries sub-sector of the economy and labor force absorption.Based on the results of the study showed that the fisheries sub-sector contributions from the 2009 to 2013 ranges from 23.45% - 24.10% and the absorption of the labor force ranges from 23.9% - 37.0%. During the period 2009 - 2013 the value of Location Quotient (LQ) fisheries sub-sector ranged from 9.18 to 9.65. and the value of Location Quotient (LQ) labor force ranged from 8.7 to 10.9. During the period 2009 - 2013 the value of the Multiplier Effect fisheries sub-sector ranged from 3.52 to 6.40. And value Multiplier Effect fisheries sub-sector labor force ranged from 0.9 to 1.6.Key Words : Contribution, Base dan Multiplier Effect

Abstract

This research was conducted in May 2016 in the city of Pariaman, West SumatraProvince of Indonesia. The purpose of this research are to analyze the business investment ofhandline fishing gear, profitability of fishing gear extended and the feasibility of catching upwith fishing gear stretching. This research used survey method. The population of theresearch are the owners of handline totaled 129 people, with a total sample of 5 people forfishermen strata 1 and 5 people for fishermen strata 2.The research results businesses overextend profitable fishing gear according to thegross income of handline fishermen fishing strata 1 per year as much as IDR.67.162.000 andfishermen gross income stratum 2 per year as much as IDR.94.630.000,- net income ofhandline fishermen fishing strata 1 per year as much as IDR.18.579.083,3 and net income ofhandline fishermen fishing strata 2 per year as much as IDR.18.695.716,7. Feasibilityanalysis shows the business can be continued according to the value of RCR > 1, the value ofPPC shows long payback of fishermen strata 1 for one year less one day and fishermenstratum 2 for 1 year 1 month 6 days andthen FRR value handline fishermen fishing effortstratum 1 and stratum 2 < bank lending rates prevailing then that business investment shouldbe deposited to the bank because it is more profitable.Keywords: Business Analysis, Handline Fishing, Feasibility Study, Fishermen,Pariaman City

Abstract

Ingin Maju group is one fishery grouplocated in Mungo Region, Luak Subdistrick, Lima Puluh Kota Districk, West Sumatera Province, which consistenly develops fisheries sector, especially freshwater fish hatchery business. Currently, there are four types of fish hatchery business that is developed in the Ingin Maju group, which are the fish hatchery business Gurami fish, Lele fish, Nila fish and Mas fish. The research aims to analyze the fish hatchery business in Ingin Maju group, included : type of fish hatchery that is most profitable, business feasibility and productivity. Data were collected by survey method from 7 fish farm in Ingin Maju group and its data is processed using income anlysis, feasibility and productivity.The result of the research showed that Gurami, Lele and Nila fish hatchery bussines is the most profitable with the net income of Rp 5.385.700/year. Furthermore, using the business feasibility resulted the average of Revenue Cost of Ratio got by fish hatchery business in Ingin Maju group is 2,09, the average of Financial Rate of Return is 266% and the average of Payback Period of Capital is 0,38. Productivity of fish hatchery business in Ingin Maju group is 606 fish/m2.Keywords : Fish Hatchery Income, Ingin Maju Group

Abstract

This research was carried out on 21 March to 02 April 2016 in The BintanTimur Districts of Bintan Regency of Riau Islands Province. The methods used inthis research is a survey method. Research results show that in district of BintanTimur there are two types of businesses Fishing Traps that is sharing resultssystem and its own proprietary system. Investment on Fishing Traps systems forgreater results than ownership system of its own. Revenue sharing system fishingtraps larger than reefs bubu business ownership system of its own, for an averagerevenues – fishing traps by sharing results systems is IDR41,151,000 and themedian income for clean business personal property system fishing traps isamounting to IDR5.865.000. In order for the results system fishing traps netincome greater effort but the percentage of smaller divisions. In the businesspersonal property system fishing traps net income of smaller businesses but alarger percentage of the Division.For sustainability efforts fishing traps seen from natural resources andpotential revenues exist, can be said to be business activities can continue itsactivities fishing traps. Abstract

The purposes of this research to find out the cost of investment, to know the feasibility business and the problems and prospects in milkfish fishpond with in size of 1,5 Ha, 2,0 Ha and 4,0 Ha in Sungai Undan Village Reteh Subdistrict Indragiri Hilir District of Riau Province. Based on the results of the reseach, the average cost of investment to fishpond size 1,5 is Rp 42.082.400,00- with benefit Rp 8.836.250,00-/period(5-6 month), fishpond size 2,0 Ha is Rp 51.932.500,00- with benefit Rp 14.068.750,00-/period(5-6 month) and fishpond size 4,0 Ha is Rp 103.467.500,00- with benefit Rp 16.760.000,00-/period(5-6 month). Based on faseability criteria, it can be said that milkfish fishpond is worth to be developed but there are some problems faced by farmers such as the availability of ready stock nener or gelondongan (2-4 cm), the long distance for purchasing nener in Bali, public facilities that are inadequate, there are no field facilitator, and the habit of farmer to flipping commodity fishpond. Fishpond of milkfish has good prospect to be developed by the support of some aspect in this area.Keywords: Milkfish, Production, Business Analytics
