Abstract

Abstract: The research about implementation of learning model Learning Cycle 7E has been done with purpose to improve learning result of students on the atomic structure and elements periodic system subject at the class X SMAN 11 Pekanbaru. Learning model Learning Cycle 7E is cycle model that involve student actively through the 7 phase in learning process that is elicit, engage, explore, explain, elaborate, evaluate and extend. This research plan is experiment research by using One Group pretest-posttest Design. The sample consisted of 30 students who are members of the experimental class is class X MIA 5. The technic of data analyze used is t-test paired sample. Tabulation of data result obtained arithmetic-t bigger than table-t that is 46,26 bigger than 2,756; it’s mean there is a significant differences of the student’s learning result with the use of learning model Learning Cycle 7E on the atomic structure and elements periodic system subject at the class X SMAN 11 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Learning Model Learning Cycle 7E, Learning Result, Atomic Structure andElements Periodic System Subject.

Abstract

Abstract : This Research aims to develop Student Activities Worksheets Based on Constructivism on the Thermochemical subject valid based on the feasibility aspect of content, language, serve and graphic. The type of this research is research and development (R and D) with reference to the development process of 4-D model. The subject of this research is student activities worksheets based on constructivism. Instrument of data collection are validation given to four validators, and from analysis data obtained by the validity of aspect of content, aspect of language, aspect of serve, and aspect of graphic are 96,43%, 97,50%, 96,88%, dan 98,44% with valid category. LKPD which validated by the validators tested to 30 students and get response result with percentage of 86,33% with positive category. Based on the result of data analysis can be concluded that student activities worksheets based on constructivism that produced is valid and can be used for the thermochemical subject for SMA/MA.Keywords: Thermochemical, Constructivism, Student Activities Worksheet

Abstract

Abstract: Research development of chemical-based learning media Autoplay Media Studio 8 is intended to produce a decent learning media on the subject of the atomic structure is developed based on the feasibility aspect of the display media, programming, content, presentation material content and language in Chemical Education Program. Beside that, it also to know the response of chemistry teachers and learners to media-based learning Autoplay Media Studio 8 has been developed on the subject of atomic structure. This media development research using ADDIE model of which has 5 stages of development, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Results of research-based instructional media development AutoPlay Media Studio 8 on the subject of atomic structures that have been validated by a validator to be feasible with an average percentage of 96.38%. Response chemistry teachers and learners expressed either by the average percentage of 98.2% for chemistry teachers and 91.89% for the learners. This indicates that the learning generated media fit for use as a medium of learning.Key Words : Learning media, Autoplay Media Studio 8, Atomic Structure

Abstract

Abstract: Research was aimed to improve study result of student on solubility and result times solubility subject has been doing in class XI science SMAN 1 Kampar. This research was a form of experiments research with design pretest-posttest. Sample of the research were student of class XI science 2 as experimental class and class XI science 3 as control class. The experimental class was applied learning model problem base learning while the control class using discussion method. Data were analized using t- test. Result from the data analysis showed t count > t table (1,6923 > 1,68). It means learning model problem based learning can increase study result of student on solubility and result times solubility subject in class XI science SMAN 1 Kampar with category of increase study results on the solubility and result times solubility in class XI science is high category.Key Word: study results, problem based learning, solubility and result time solubility

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed at investigating the significant difference of students’ learning achievement between students taught using Rotating Trio Exchange(RTE) assisted with question box and students taught conventionally with question box in chemistry subject at SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. Subject of this research were students at XI MIA 3 as experiment class and XI MIA 1 as control class were randomely selected. Data analized after giving pretest and postest to each class by using ttest. The results revealed that application active learning strategy of RTE was capable to improve student’s achievement in chemistry especially in Reaction Rate Subject at 11th SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The result of the study shows a significant difference of students’ learning achievement between students taught using RTE assisted with questions box and students taught conventionally with question box with tobserved 3,87 >  ttabel 1,67. And n-gain score for exsperiment class is 0.65 and control class is  0.47, means the improvement of both classes achievement was in average category. Abstract

Abstract: The implementation of cooperative learning model Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) has been conducted to determine the improve in student achievement and improve learning achievement category on the subject of salt hydrolysis in class XI SMA N 9 Pekanbaru. Forms of this research is experimental research design with pretest - posttest. Time data collection between February 8 to April 13, 2016. The sample consisted of two classes, grade XI IPA 3 as the control class and class XI IPA 5 as an experimental class selected at random. Grades given experimental treatment with the application of Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE), while the control class are given learning lecture method. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the analysis of data processing obtained t¬hitung> ttable is 4.94> 1.67 means that the implementation of cooperative learning model Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) can improve student achievement on the subject of salt hydrolysis in class XI SMA N 9 Pekanbaru. Category increase student achievement in the classroom experiment with a normalized gain value (N-gain) of 0.91 is included in the high category.Keywords: Rotating Trio Cooperative Exchange (RTE), Achievement, Hydrolysis Salt

Abstract

ABSTRACT Research on the application of active learning strategy type Learning Start With A Question (LSQ)) has been done to improve student’s achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. Form of the research is experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, X.5 class as experiment class and X.7 class as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given by implementing active learning strategy type LSQ and the control class was given by conventional method. Analysis of data used t-test. Data of research obtained tcount > ttable (5,78 > 1,67). It means that using active learning strategy type LSQ can improve student’s achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student’s achievement in experiment class was high category (N-Gain =0,71) and in control class was medium category (N-Gain =0,51).
