Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of turnover and collateral value on the smooth repayment of murabahah financing for MSME customers at BMT At-Taqwa Kemanggisan. This study uses quantitative methods with primary obtained data by interviews with BMT and secondary obtained data from annual report of BMT debtors. The research method used purposive sampling with sample of 286 debtors and the data is processed by STATA application version 14.2. The results show that the variables of turnover and collateral value simultaneously effect the smooth repayment of murabahah financing with a significance value of 0.0000. Meanwhile with the partial test only the turnover variable has effect on the smooth repayment of murabaha financing with significance value 0.023.

Abstract

So far, efficiency tends to be a very important issue for discussion. Therefore, such a topic needs attention. This is crucial when it is related syariah banking industry development. In that case, the best performance of shraiah banking can be reached sot hat it has high competitivepower in national banking industry. Besides that, it is also expected to be able for expandingthe market share. Using the non-parametric method of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), this study investigates the recent efficiency of the Islamic Banking operations in Indonesia over the period 2005 to 2007. The attributions of technical efficiency (utilization of capacity) and scale efficiency (optimality of scale achieved) are identified. The principal findings for the period under study indicate that technical and scale efficiency scores are improving but not optimal 100% during research period. The findings provide useful guidelines for policy implications and may also assist banks concerned with their strategic planning with regard to the future of Islamic banking

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to analyze the synergy between sharia bank and fintech to effort and develop micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. Data and information were obtained through interview to expert respondents in their fields such as BNI Syariah, Ammana Fintek Syariah and the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). This study has been conducted from July 2018 to March 2019. To provide a deep understanding, this study uses a qualitative approach. The results of the study to show that the opportunity to create synergy between Sharia Bank and Sharia Fintech in order to develop MSMEs in Indonesia is still very wide open. This synergy can be done through several existing patterns or synergy models, including through cross-selling schemes, channeling, references, shadow investors, outsourcing platform and Fintech consortium. The benefits of this synergy include empowering MSMEs, facilitating financial services that are practical, comfortable, safe, have speed, sophistication and up-to-date and are more efficient. The challenges ahead are in terms of human resources competence and support from regulators for policy relaxation. Risks that must be properly mitigated from these synergies, such as the risk of credibility, technology, default and operations.KEYWORDS: Financial Technology (Fintech); Micro; Small and Medium Enterprises; Sharia Bank, Synergy.

Abstract

This study aims to identify factors that determine the awareness, intention and decision of the Indonesian people to cash waqf. Data collection techniques using purposive sampling with PLS (Partial Least Squared) method as a data analysis tool in this study includes a path analysis model. The results obtained show that the social environment and understanding affect one's awareness and interest in cash waqf. The emergence of awareness and intention will encourage the person to carry out cash waqf. While the promotion of cash waqf does not affect awareness and intentions which in the end will not encourage someone to cash waqf.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menentukan kesadaran, minat dan keputusan masyarakat Indonesia untuk berwakaf uang. Teknik penggumpulan data menggunakan purposive sampling dengan metode PLS (Partial Least Squared) sebagai alat analisis data yang dalam penelitian ini memuat model analisis jalur. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan sosial dan pemahaman mempengaruhi kesadaran dan minat seseorang akan wakaf uang. Munculnya kesadaran dan minat akan mendorong orang tersebut untuk melaksanakan wakaf uang. Sedangkan promosi tentang wakaf uang tidak mempengaruhi kesadaran dan minat yang pada akhirnya tidak akan mendorong seseorang untuk berwakaf uang.

Abstract

This study aims to identify various problems of cash waqf management in Indonesia. Identification of these various problems is expected to be formulated by various alternative solutions. Based on the research, it was identified that there were three main obstacles in the process of optimizing cash waqf, namely socialization, regulations and Nazhir, all of which were broken down in several sub-problems. The solutions that can be offered from these three constraints are socialization programs, both on understanding and cash waqf mechanisms, improving existing cash waqf regulations, specifically on the role of BWI and funding for the development of cash waqf, as well as programs designed to improve capacity asset management for Nazhir. Based on this solution, the strategy that can be carried out is more comprehensive and coordinated socialization, making regulations that can optimize the role of BWI and also optimize funds for the development of cash waqf, and continuous improvement of Nazhir's competency

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence ZISWAF, Gini ratio, the total export value, the index of industrial production, sharia stock index investment to GDP growth, in the short and long term. Qualitative data were taken from BPS, Baznas, ACT Global Waqf, the FSA from March 2006 until December 2017 using the methodology of The Error Correction Model (ECM). The results of this study indicate that the variable Gini Ratio, Ziswaf, Total exports, Production Index and Sharia Stock Index on GDP economic growth have significant and positive effects in the long term and the short term. Meaning that these variables have a relationship with GDP economic growth. If the variable decreases or slows down-then GDP economic growth also. While total exports have insignificant effects and negative effects on GDP economic growth. The R-square regression value of the long-term model produces a proportion of 96 percent, the short-term model produces a proportion of 97 percent. Both in the long-run and short-run models, the highest coefficient value is the value of the Gini ratio with 4.941522 and 0.348043. All positive coefficients, Gini ratio variables, ziswaf and production index have a significant effect on gdp, total exports and sharia stock indexes do not have a significant effect on gdp both in the long and short-term models. It implies in the future, fiscal economic policy makers to economic growth that opened a lot of employment, by encouraging resource based economic activities of Indonesia's largest export-oriented agriculture and mining. Good Corporate goverment should do so gini ratio of the areas surrounding the economy improved and people kesejahtaeraan increase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of the soundness of the bank using the RGEC (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings and Capital) method at PT. State Savings Bank. This study uses secondary data at PT. BTN for a nine-year period from 2012 to 2020. The analytical technique used is the analytical technique using the RGEC (Risk profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earning, and Capital) method. This study proves that the soundness of the bank with the RGEC method at PT. BTN 2012-2020 in terms of risk profile with the NPL proxy having a Composite Rating (PK) 2 or Healthy and with the LDR proxy having a PK 4 or Less Healthy. From the aspect of good corporate governance, the self-assessment has a PK of 2 or Good. In terms of earnings, the ROA proxy has a PK of 2 or Healthy and the BOPO proxy has a PK of 3 or Fairly Healthy. Judging from the capital aspect, the CAR proxy has a PK of 1 or Very Healthy.
