Abstract

The learning process in the classroom is currently still using sources from textbooks books that make students bored so that students learning interest is reduced and does not arouse students' curiosity in the learning process, the availability of learning support books is needed, one of them is by developing modules. Module specifications were developed based on the results of Invertebrate exploration. The purpose of this study is, (1) to explain the types of Invertebrates found to compile modules, (2) to find the characteristics of modules (3) to test the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Invertebrate module based in PjBL. This research is an R & D conducted in SMA N 1 Sungai Raya, class X in the 2018/2019 school year. The results showed as many as 20 types of several Invertebrate phylum found on Lemukutan Island and Kakap Estuary Coast. The results of the module validation from the material experts 89.80 and 98.38 media experts with very valid criteria. The practicality results of students 86.46 with very practical criteria, and effectiveness seen from the cognitive results with classical completeness of 97%, and the psychomotor value of students amounted to 91.53 with very good criteria. The conclusion from this study is that the Invertebrate module in PjBL-based is valid, practical, and effective in the learning process.

Abstract

The problem that occurs in the education world right now is the low learning outcomes and student creativity. Based on references, the roles playing method is an effective learning method for increasing student creativity and learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the roles playing method on creativity and student learning outcomes and to find out the effectiveness of the roles playing method on learning the immune system. This research is a quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The population are all students of grade 11 in MIA MAN 2 Semarang 2018/2019 school year. The sample is determined by purposive sampling and 2 classes have selected as the experimental class and the control class. In this study the experimental class carried out immune system learning using the roles playing method while the control class used the lecture method. The results showed that 85.56% of the experimental class students has creativity with creative to very creative categories while the control class is only 41.67% of students included in the creative and very creative categories. Student learning outcomes data show that the classical learning completeness of the experimental class is higher than the control class with a difference of 36.12%. The average value of learning outcomes and the average N-Gain score of the experimental class students also have a higher average value of the control class. The implementation of learning the roles playing method gained a score of 95.56%. Based on the description it can be concluded that the role playing method is effective on the creativity and learning outcomes of high school students and it can be concluded that the role playing method is effectively applied to learning the immune system because the results of the study already meet all the indicators that have been set.

Abstract

Basic of competence 3.11 analyzes data on environmental change, causes, and changes in environmental change for life. Basic competence 4.11. PBL model is suitable to be applied to environmental change learning material. PBL is problem-oriented. So it's good for solving lessons, challenging abilities and increasing student activity. The purpose of this study is to analyze activities, learning outcomes, attitudes, and understand the thinking of learning outcomes with student activities. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research design with non-aquivalent control groups. The population of this research is students of class X IPA 1 and 2 MA Al Asror Semarang. The independent variables contain learning material about the environment using PBL, while the variables are discussed further, learning outcomes, and student attitudes. PBL which plays a role in student activity seen in the Mann Whitney test results with Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 <0.05 indicates Ha received, which means all activities between the experimental class and the control class. Learning outcomes improve the medium category with an n-gain of 0.5315 and achieve classical completeness. The correlation of activities with learning outcomes shows r count 0.589> r table 0.361 including moderate category with r2 34.69%, meaning 34.69% of activities contribute to learning outcomes, 65.31% is determined by other factors. PBL samples affect students seen in the results of independent sample t test sig value of 0,000 <0.05 indicates Ha is accepted, meaning that it is related to the difference between the experimental class and the control class.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengkaji status kepunahan jenis ikan hiu dan ikan pari yang diperdagangkan di TPI Tegalsari Kota Tegal. Metode penelitian ialah metode deskriptif eksploratif, Metode tersebebut dilakukan dengan identifikasi sampel yang diperoleh selama dua bulan di TPI  Tegalsari Kota Tegal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh 10 jenis ikan Chondrichthyes, yang terdiri dari 2 ordo. Pertama ialah ordo Lamniformes yang meliputi species (status kepunahan) Sphyrna lewini  (EN), Carcharinusfalciformes (LC), Carcharinusplumbeus (NT), dan Chiloschyliumpunctatum (NT). Ordo kedua ialah Rajiformes yang meliputi Gymnuramicrura (DD), Himanturauarnak (VU), Dasyatisannotatus (NT), Dasyatissephen (NT), Dasyatiskuhlii (DD), dan Aetobatisnarinari (NT). Kesimpulan penelitian ini ialah 10 jenis ikan Chondricthyes yang terancam punah berada dalam status kepunahan. Upaya konservasi yang dapat dilakukan ialah penerapan eputusan Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan Nomor 18/Kepmen-Kp/2013 tentang penetapan status pelindungan penuh dan mengatur pelindungan ikan hiu dan ikan pari sebagai respons daftar Appendix II dalam CITES. Tahapannya KKP mengecek dua kali muatan container dan  menerapkan tes DNA hiu sebelum diekspor.

Abstract

The village of Sekaran is one of the villages located close to the UNNES Campus. The cur- rent Village of Sekaran villagers are in addition to the natives, UNNES students who rent houses or boarding in the area, and some are urban, or urban, people who prefer suburban residences. Some of the land in the village of Sekaran has turned into housing and one of the closest housing of the cam- pus is Sekar Gading Housing. Residents in Housing Sekar Gading, especially the mothers belonging to Dasa Wisma are very hungry for various activities based on environmentally friendly. One of the activities they want is how to make organic fertilizer especially from household waste. Therefore, the initial plan of activities originally in the village of Banyuwindu devotees move to the village of Sek- aran, especially in Housing Sekar Gading. The main reason for moving the location because after coordination several times Banyuwindu community difficult to determine the time of activity, while the implementation time of service activities should be as soon as possible. While the choice of loca- tion in Housing Sekar Gading because of the welcome and enthusiasm of people in the housing is very good. Targets to be achieved in this activity is the increasing understanding of the community in Housing Sekar Gading in managing waste independently, the community is able to utilize local mi- croorganisms as an environmentally friendly composting material, and can reduce the dependence on the use of chemical fertilizers. The outcomes of this devotional activity are 1) articles for national seminars or journals, 2) appropriate technology (TTG) of local potential waste-based waste manage- ment. The results achieved in this activity is organic fertilizer products using local microorganisms.

Abstract

Kelelawar merupakan mamalia yang dapat terbang yang berasal dari ordo Chiroptera dengan kedua kaki depan yang berkembang menjadi sayap. Jenis-jenis spesies kelelawar mewakili sekitar 24% dari semua spesies mamalia. Kecamatan Gunungwungkal mempunyai potensi sumber daya alam dengan banyaknya pohon buah. Masyarakat pada umumnya menganggap kelelawar sebagai hama karena memakan buah-buahan dari tanaman budidaya perkebunan, sehingga banyak perburuan kelelawar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis kelelawar pemakan buah Subordo Megachiroptera dan sebaran spasial di Kecamatan Gunungwungkal Kabupaten Pati. Sampel kelelawar buah diambil 3 titik yaitu Desa Pesagen, Sidomulyo, dan Jrahi. Setiap titik pengambilan sampel masing-masing dipasangi 3 mistnet. Sampel diambil berdasarkan karakter masing-masing titik dari beberapa macam pohon buah yang diperkirakan terdapat jenis-jenis kelelawar buah. Kelelawar buah Subordo Megachiroptera yang tertangkap sebanyak 419. Jumlah total Cynopterus minutus sebanyak 260 ekor sedangkan Macroglossus minimus sebanyak 159 ekor. Sebaran spasial Cynopterus minutus ditemukan paling banyak di Desa Pesagen karena mempunyai lebih banyak kebun buah rambutan, kelengkeng, matoa, sawo manila. Macroglossus minimus ditemukan paling banyak di Desa Jrahi karena terdapat kebun pisang yang lebih banyak.

Abstract

Teacher-centered learning makes students feel unmotivated to learning without the latest innovations in learning. Especially during Covid-19 virus pandemic that makes educational institutions have to dismiss students and make teachers need innovation with new online learning. There needs to be change in the learning process that can arouse student’s motivation. Motivation can affect students' critical thinking abilities. The purpose of this study is to analyze differences and enhancement of motivation and critical thinking abilities between group of students who apply of news based online learning compared with not as the control group. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a quantitative approach. The sample of this research are taken through randomize sampling. The results of the t-test showed significant different (sig. 0.01) of motivation between the classes that applied news based online learning with control classes. T-test results also showed significant different in critical thinking (sig. 0.00). N-Gain of motivation for the experimental group was 0.31 while the control group was 0.12. Meanwhile, N-Gain of critical thinking in the experimental group was 0.67, while the control group was 0.33. The results indicate that the application of the news-based online learning can increase students' motivation and critical thinking. Students who were taught with news-based online learning are more active in expressing their opinions and they are eager to participate in learning activities.

Abstract

The learning of integrated science should be supported by several things including the existence of Learning Media. The reality is that at MTs Putera Sunniyyah Selo, there are not many interesting learning media found. Even though the learning media is very important for the realization of student interest and learning outcomes. Therefore, it is necessary to develop Pop Up Book as a Learning Media. The purpose of this research is to develop Pop Up Book as learning media material on the interaction of living things with the environment, its validity and effectiveness as a learning media, and to find out how much student interest in using of Pop Up Books as a learning media. The method of research is use Research and Development (R&D). The validity test was carried out by media experts and material experts using a questionnaire. The effectiveness of learning media was measured based on the N-Gain value indicator from the pretest-posttest results, as well as the teacher and student response questionnaire scores. Student learning interest is measured based on the questionnaire score of student learning interest. The test of the effectiveness of learning media was carried out at MTs Putera Sunniyyah Selo, Tawangharjo District, Grobogan Regency, in grade VII. The results showed that the validation score of the media expert reached 88.19%, while the validation score of the material expert validation reached 90.69% with an average of 89.44%, which means that the learning media could be elassified valid. The results of the analysis of the effectiveness of the media based on the N-Gain value were 0.8, which means that the increase in the pretest posttest could be classified as high criteria. The scores for the questionnaire responses from teachers and students were 92.50% and 86.46%, both of which were very effective. The percentage of interest in learning reached 90.09% with very good criteria. Based on these indicators, it can be concluded that the Pop Up Book as a Learning Media is declared valid by media and material experts, is effectively used in learning and is able to generate interest in learning at MTs Putera Sunniyyah Selo in the very good category.
