Abstract

Fire extinguishing system in placing reservoirs there are still many officers who do not know the location so that they can implement computerized technology so that firefighters can work to maximize the information technology made by the author well. Mobile-based reservoir mapping system application developed using Geofence method. The main purpose for this application that officers can easily find the location of the reservoir closest to the location of the fire and where officers can also find out the location of the reservoir distance from the fire. The accuracy of testing results with Google maps where the accuracy is very precise to the location of the water source or reservoir. Testing using a smartphone comparison from Android 4.1 Jelly Bean version to Android 7.0 Nougat can run with distance results in the application using google maps, get the same results and where there is a test version of Android V4.4 Kitkat that did not work because RAM does not support this application. Testing in the form of a black box method where this method tests every function contained and the test is functioning and running as smoothly as possible where the system is functioning properly with success rate 100%.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the improvement of narrative writing skills with the approach of the process of class V students of Muhammadiyah Primary 3 Pontianak City. This research uses descriptive method with form of action research class (PTK) and is collaborative. This research was conducted for three cycles with each cycle one time meeting. The results of the study design study (RPP) of the cycle I average score 3.85, cycle II average score 3.94, and cycle III average score 3.98. The results of research implementation of the learning cycle I score average of 2.68, cycle II average score 3.96 and cycle III average score 3.98. The result of the research write narrative essay from cycle I mean value 61,62, second cycles II value 73,62 and cycle III with average value 79,96. Total mastery reach 90% or 18 people with 75 increase from cycle I which only 15%. From the data obtained can be concluded that the application of process approach can improve the writing skills of student narrative. Thus, research using a process approach to learning writing writing can involve students more active, enthusiastic and more effective. Keywords: Process Approach, Improve, Writing Narrative Essay

Abstract

Forests and surrounding communities are two components of the ecosystem that must be prioritized for attention in an effort to ensure sustainable management of forest resources. Sustainable forest resources are expected to provide life insurance for the surrounding community. The life of the village community around the forest cannot seek from the existence of the forest where they depend for their livelihood, the forest is a source of fulfillment of their daily needs and a source of family income. The purpose of this study aims to see people's preferences for forest use in Labuan Kungguma Village, Labuan District, Donggala Regency. This research was conducted for two months, from October to December 2016. The research location was located in Labuan Kungguma Village, Labuan District, Donggala Regency. The research method used a survey method, which describes quantitatively the tendency of preferences for the use of forest resources from a community population in Labuan Kungguma Village, Labuan District, Donggala Regency. The types and sources used are primary data and secondary data. The number of respondents who will be interviewed in this study in 30 households, using the assessment method. Respondents were selected using simple random sampling method. The results of the research in Labuan Kungguma Village, Labuan District, Donggala Regency, show that the highest preference for forest use for the community in Labuan Kungguma Village is the use of production forests as a source of land for gardening, processing wood pads, and rattan collectors.Keywords: Preference, Forest Utilization, Local Communities, Production Forest
