AbstrakToilet training merupakan suatu latihan kemandirian pada anak, umumnya pengajaran toilet training yang dilakukan oleh orang tua yaitu 31% orang tua mulai mengajarkan pada usia anak 18-22 bulan, 27% mulai di usia 23-27 bulan, dan 16% di usia 28-32 bulan dan 22% di usia 32 bulan ke atas. Orang tua menunggu anak siap untuk diajarkan toilet training sehingga dalam pengajaran tidak membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Hasil studi pendahuluan dengan wawancara, dari 13 Ibu 12 diantaranya menuturkan anaknya masih buang air kecil disembarang tempat, ibu juga mengatakan masih belum mengerti cara mengajarkan toilet training pada anak. Tujuan penelitian untuk memperoleh hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dengan sikap penerapan toilet training pada anak usia toddler di Desa Majasari Kabupaten Garut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat melalui uji korelasi dengan Spearman Rank pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu yang mempunyai anak usia toddler (1-3 Tahun). Teknik sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah stratified random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 95 orang. Hasil penelitian diketahui sebagian ibu (52%) berpengetahuan kurang baik tentang toilet training, lebih dari sebagian ibu (32%) memiliki sikap tidak menerapkan toilet training pada anak usia toddler. Hasil uji statistik menunjukan angka Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000, nilai ini lebih kecil daripada batas kritis α = 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) dan Correlation Coefficient (koefisien korelasi) menunjukan angka 0,674, dengan keputusan terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan sikap penerapan toilet training. Kesimpulan penilitian menyatakan adanya hubungan kuat antara variabel tingkat pengetahuan ibu dengan sikap ibu dalam penerapan toilet trainin, artinya bahwa semakin baik tingkat pengetahuan ibu semakin kuat pula diterapkannya toilet training pada anaknya.Kata-kata kunci : Toilet training, pengetahuan, sikapAbstractToilet training is an exercise of independence in children, generally teaching toilet training conducted by parents that 31% of parents start teaching at age 18-22 months, 27% starting at the age of 23-27 months, and 16% at the age of 28- 32 months and 22% at 32 months and above. The purpose of this study was to obtain a relationship between the level of knowledge and the attitude of applying toilet training to toddler age children in Majasari Village, Garut Regency. The research method used is descriptive correlation method with cross sectional approach. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis through correlation test with Spearman Rank at 95% confidence level. The population in this study were all mothers with toddler age children (1-3 Years). The sample technique used in this study was stratified random sampling with a sample size of 95 people. The results showed that some mothers (52%) had poor knowledge about toilet training, more than half of mothers (32%) had an attitude of not applying toilet training to toddler age children. The result of statistical test shows the number of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.0001, this value is smaller than the critical threshold α = 0.05 (0,0001 <0.05) and Correlation Coefficient shows the number 0.674, with the decision there is a strong relationship between the level of knowledge with the attitude of applying toilet training. The conclusion of the research indicates that there is a strong relationship between maternal knowledge level and mother attitude in toilet trainin implementation, it means that the better the mother's knowledge level the stronger the applicationof toilet training to the child.Keywords: Toilet training, knowledge, attitude, toddler
