Abstract

One form of early mathematical recognition is to introduce the concept of geometric shapes. Geometry is an important scientific discipline for present and future life by developing various ways that fit 21st century skills. This study aims to overcome the problem of early mathematical recognition of early childhood on geometry, especially how to recognize geometric forms based on computer learning. A total of 24 children aged 4-5 years in kindergarten has to carrying out 2 research cycles with a total of 5 meetings. Treatment activities in each learning cycle include mentioning, grouping and imitating geometric shapes. There were only 7 children who were able to recognize the geometric shapes in the pre-research cycle (29.2%). An increase in the number of children who are able to do activities well in each research cycle includes: 1) The activities mentioned in the first cycle and 75% in the second cycle; 2) Classifying activities in the first cycle were 37.5% and 75% in the second cycle; 3) Imitation activities in the first cycle 54.2% and 79.2% in the second cycle. The results of data acquisition show that computer learning application can improve the ability to recognize geometric shapes, this is because computer learning provides software that has activities to recognize geometric shapes with the animation and visuals displayed. Abstract

The Geothermal fluid has a very high content of dissolved elements. Geochemical methods are used to determine the potential indication of dissolved economic elements. Geothermal exploration has been carried out throughout Indonesia, mainly by the Geological Agency. The exploration result in the existence of hot spring data by analyzing SiO2, Al, Fe, Ca, Mg, Na, K, Li, As, NH4, B, F, Cl, SO4, HCO3, and CO2. Base on the secondary data of 256 locations of hot spring in Indonesia that were statistically analyzed, an overview of the association of economic elements and impurities elements is obtained. Dieng Geothermal Power Plant with that has recuring problem of silica scale formation, becomes an interesting object as a case study of the potential of dissolved economic elements. The increase in dissolved content in geothermal fluids apart from naturally occurring, is triggered even more strongly by the geothermal power plant operating system, which changes the liquid phase to the vapor phase, hence the remaining liquid phase more concentrated. The potential content of economic chemical elements is determined by discharge measuring of the remaining liquid phase produced and the results of the analysis of the element concentration dissolved. The results of geochemical data clustering of hot springs obtained four elemental association, the association of SiO2-F, Al-Fe-SO4, Ca-Mg-Cl-Na-K, and Li-B-HCO3. Dissolved lithium content is high in several geothermal areas in Indonesia, found in hot springs with chloride type fluids. The brine produced from the reservoir at the Dieng Geothermal Power Plant is from a meteoric type fluid that has intensively reacted with the surrounding rock and a magmatic type fluid. The remaining brine that is from several separators and comes out through the silencer, at the Dieng Geothermal Power Plant has a total discharge of 457.1 m3/hour, contains high levels of several elements, lithium 77.31-99.4 mg/l, silica 1109.25-1220.9 mg/l, boron 404.16-589.4 mg/l, potassium 2532.2-4536.5 mg/l, and manganese 5.49-15.82 mg/l.

Abstract

Credit sales can affect the level of liquidity of a company, because the results of credit sales will produce trade accounts receivable which are part of current assets and changes in current assets can affect the level of company liquidity due to the repayment of trade accounts, it will increase cash so the company can pay its short-term obligations. This study aims to find out how the relationship Accounts Receivable Turnover on Liquidity is measured by the current ratio. The object of the research is PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk taken from the financial statements for the period 2013-2017. This study uses a qualitatif method consisting of two variables, namely accounts receivable turnover as independent and liquidity as the dependent variable. The data analysis method used in this study is simple regression analysis and tested by t-test. The test results show that accounts receivable turnover has a significant relationship to liquidity. The results can be seen in R of 0.88, which means that the relationship between accounts receivable turnover and liquidity has a very strong relationship. This result is reinforced by the results of hypothesis testing through the t-test which shows that accounts receivable turnover has a significant relationship to liquidity of 77.44% while the remaining 22.56% is influenced by other factors not examined by the author.

Abstract

Researchers have emphasized that SMEs are often the enterprises most affected by economic crises. Therefore, a socioeconomic crisis related to people’s health such as the COVID-19 pandemic can be expected to have dire effects on SMEs because these businesses require strong connections with people, whether they are customers or suppliers. To protect this vital sector from collapse due to the COVID-19 crisis, many governmental and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) have provided various forms of support to SMEs. Governments have adopted several policies that will mitigate the negative effects of this crisis. SMEs have received some financial support from local and international NGOs and financial institutions during the COVID-19 crisis. Additionally, SME owners have adopted a number of practices and strategies to confront the ramifications of the crisis. Innovation is the core factor behind the survival and continuity of enterprises; it supports the company’s expansion and growth and enhances the enterprise’s future success.
