Abstract

Hambatan praktikum fisika di tingkat SMA disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor.Salah satu faktor tersebut adalah masih jarangnya pelatihan penguasaan peralatan laboratorium bagi para guru.Akibatnya kreatifitas guru fisika dalam mempraktekkan konsep fisika yang diajarkan masih rendah sehingga diperlukan pelatihan perancangan alat peraga praktikum fisika.Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan perancangan alat peraga praktikum fisika yang sedang up to date yaitu alat peraga pembangkit listrik energi terbarukan. Alat peraga praktikum  pembangkit listrik energi terbarukan yang  diberikan pada kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah pembangkit listrik tenaga angin (wind turbine). Pelatihan ini dapat dibagi menjadi dua tahap. Pertama, penjelasan komponen-komponen yang diperlukan dalam merancang alat peraga pembangkit listrik energi angin. Kedua, pengujian alat hasil rancangan yaitu dengan memvariasikan kecepatan angin yang datang pada alat peraga energi angin dan mengukur daya listrik yang dihasilkan. Pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini para peserta(guru) dilatih merangkai komponen-komponen alat peraga. Namun para guru belum sempat melakukan pengambilan data dan menganalisis data hasil pengujian alat peraga secara mandiri. Namun demikian  para guru telah diperagakan cara mengambil data variasi kecepatan angin terhadap daya keluaran. Adanya pelatihan perancangan alat praktikum  fisika berupa alat peraga pembangkit listrik energi terbarukan khususnya pembangkit listrik tenaga angin bagi guru-guru fisika diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu solusi hambatan pelaksanaan praktikum  fisika di tingkat  SMA. DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v3i1.2251

Abstract

The high cases of motor vehicle theft, especially motorcycles theft became a daily problem that still need to look for solution. One of the solutions for securing a motorcycle from theft is by applying intellegent security system technology. The purpose of this research was to design motorcycle security system with fingerprint sensor and determine the percentage of sytem design success. The research methods used are designing, formulating problem and studying literature. The next step are to design the system design and assemble the design. The first was a registered the fingerprint owner motorcycle in order recorded in the data system. The second was to match the fingerprint registered. The design assembly consists of power supply, arduino UNO microcontroller module, fingerprint module, LED and relay module which would be connected with the electrical system motorcycle. Next step was to install the prototype on the motorcycle that connected the relay module with the wire between switch of side buffer and the machine of motorcycle. The result of the triasl system with Thirteen the user motorcycle his fingerprints was not registered indicates system 100% seccess. This means even though the key contact in the ON position the motorcycle could not be turned on by front starter or side starter(engkol). The only the fingerprint registered that could be turned on the machine of motorcycle.

Abstract

The case of motorbike theft is one of the common problems in the community that needs to be found a solution. One  of solutions  to  secure  motorbikes  from  potential  theft  is  to install smart vehicle technology (smart vehicl e). This paper describes  the  design  of  IoT  vehicle  safety  systems  using Arduino  Mega  microcontroller,  fingerprint  sensor, ESP8266 and  Blynk applications on smartphones. For the experiment,  this  study  uses  an  automatic  transmission motorbike that represents the public motorcycle model. For research  methods,  this  study  uses  three  stages  of  design. The  first  stage  is to  compile  the  prototype  hardware  of  a motorcycle security system using a fingerprint sensor, and a  microcontroller.  The  second  phase,  IoT  that  uses  a notification  system  on  ESP8266-based  smartphones  and Blynk  applications  are  designed.  In  the  third  stage,  the security  system  and  notification  system  sent  via  the smartphone are combined. In the results of the first phase of the trial, five people (whose fingerprints were registered and not registered) were involved to show the system was working as we expected. This means that even if the vehicle ignition  is  in  the  "ON"  position,  the  motorcycle  engine cannot be started using an electric starter method or using a  crank  start  system.  To  be  able  to  "start"  a  motorcycle engine, the user's fingerprint must be verified first. In the second  phase  of  the  trial,  notification  via  the  Blynk application  on  the  smartphone  will  show  someone's fingerprint that started the motorcycle has been verified or not  verified.  Finally  in  the  final  stage  of  the  trial, information  systems  in  the  form  of  notifications  on smartphones can be realized to inform users who are trying to  start  the  motorcycle  engine  have  been  verified  or  not verified. The  results  of  this  study  are  expected  to  become IoT  applied  references  for  motorcycle  and  other  vehicle security systems

Abstract

The simulation of two dimensional projectile motion problem with including resisting force as velocity function in MATLAB program has been done.The two dimensional projectile motion problem was formulated in second order differential equation which included resitance form as linier velocity function. The second order differential of motion then separated into two coupled first order differential equation and then numerically was soluted by Runge_Kutta4 method. The visualisation of computation values as a path of projectile motion and others physics quantities like dissipation energy were shown by MATLAB GUIDE.

Abstract

The analysis of the resistivity of a wire based on the Wheatstone bridge method and the Ohm law method in physics experiment module has been done. The analysis of the resistivity of a wire was done in a physics laboratory at UPNVJ engineering faculty. This topic was studied because there has been no experiment in the themed of electricity in the physics experiment module at the faculty of engineering UPNVJ. The most popular method applied to obtain wire resistivity value is the Ohm law method. In order to enlarge the understanding of the electricity concept, this research needed other method that can be used to find out the wire resistivity namely the Wheatstone Bridge method. This research aimed to obtain the resistivity value of Nichrome wire from two different methods. The methods were the Ohm law method and the Wheatstone bridge method. In Ohm law method, the wire length was subsequent varied. Then, the electric voltage value and an electric current were recorded. While in the Wheatstone bridge method, it was used circuit bridge. The value of the variable resistor was varied and the segment length metal plate was measured. The data were processed in order to obtain the Nichrome wire resistivity values by linear regression method. From Ohm law method and the Wheatstone bridge method were respectively obtained the value of Nichrome wire was ρ±Δρ=(2,875±0,005)x10-6 Ωm and ρ±Δρ=(5,00±0,25)x10-6 Ωm. The results of the two methods are match with the value of the standard of the Nichrome wire is ρ=1,0x10-6 Ωm. By using the two methods, it was expected that the students’ understanding of the electricity concept was increasingly widespread.

Abstract

A numerical study of the solution of boundary value problems with the tridiagonal matrix approach has been done. The case studied is computing the electrical potential expressed by 1D Poisson’s equation with boundary conditions. The 1D Poisson’s equation are then discreted with the finite different method so as to form a system of linier equations. The system of non homogeneous linear equations that can be formed is a tridiagonal matrix. Then the matrix is solved by Gaussian elimination algorithm. On this study, the algorithm is implemented on three programming languages namely, Fortran, Java and MATLAB.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe development of coastal areas is one of the efforts to build the economy for a maritimebasedcountry.Thedevelopmentofthemaritimeareabeginswithimprovingthequalityofthelocal population with knowledge and skills that are useful in developing maritimebusinesses. Abstract

Di Era Industri 4.0, salah satu bentuk solusi mengamankan sebuah rumah dari potensi kebakaran adalah dengan merancang rumah pintar (smart home). Desain smart home yang diuraikan pada paper ini adalah desain sistem monitoring rumah dari potensi kebakaran. Sistem monitoring pendeteksi dini kebakaran rumah dirancang berdasarkan konsep IoT dan dilengkapi dengan data logger. Data logger difungsikan sebagai pencatat dan perekam data dari waktu ke waktu. Rancangan sistem perangkat keras terdiri dari Arduino Mega2560, ESP8266, sensor api, sensor gas dan modul datalogger sebagai penyimpan data. Rancangan perangkat lunak yang sekaligus berfungsi sebagai display monitoring sistem adalah aplikasi Blynk di smartphone Android. Aktivitas sensor api dan sensor gas direkam pada modul data logger untuk kebutuhan rekam data. Uji coba sistem dilakukan di sekitar kompor gas di ruang dapur. Hasil rancangan sistem ditampilkan melalui aplikasi Blynk di smartphone. Tampilan monitoring sistem deteksi api berupa berubahnya Button Virtual dari warna awal menjadi warna merah. Sementara tampilan monitoring sistem deteksi gas berupa Level Virtual bergerak ketika terdeteksi kebocoran gas. Data rekaman aktifitas sensor api dari datalogger ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik hubungan tegangan kerja sensor api versus waktu. Sementara data rekaman aktifitas sensor gas dari datalogger ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik hubungan konsentrasi gas versus waktu. Seluruh hasil respon sistem serta data grafik ditampilkan secara secara realtime melalui aplikasi Blynk di smartphone. Selain itu rekam data kinerja sistem tersimpan juga di kartu micro SD untuk keperluan analisis lanjutan. Dari hasil perancangan sistem ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan pustaka teknologi monitoring rumah dari potensi kebakaran dilengkapi sistem penyimpan data.

Abstract

The Simpangan Village, especially RT 02/RW014 is located on Jl. Ciherang I Block C, North Cikarang, Bekasi; in early 2021 experienced a fairly large flood disaster. One of the reasons for this flood was the ineffectiveness of the household sewerage system and waste management in the area. Garbage is one of the important problems faced by every household, especially in densely populated areas such as residents of RT 02/RW014 Simpangan Village. Garbage originating from household activities that are not managed properly can have a bad impact such as the flood. One solution for handling garbage is to provide counseling and assistance on the importance of managing waste for the community. This paper aims to describe the results of community service activities, namely fostering housewives in RT 02/RW014 Simpangan Village, North Cikarang, Bekasi; related to the management of household waste into liquid organic fertilizer. The method of implementing the activity is in the form of online counseling and assistance in managing household organic garbage into liquid fertilizer. Liquid fertilizer processed by household organic waste is used directly for the gardening sector in the area. In addition, the management of liquid organic fertilizer has the opportunity to become a product that can be sold to help housewives get additional family income. Based on the results of the questionnaire, residents' responses to the implementation of this activity obtained an average score of almost 95% of the residents were satisfied. Globally, the results of this activity can help educate the public on the importance of a sustainable ecosystem.ABSTRAK:Desa Simpangan khususnya RT 02/RW014 terletak di Jl. Ciherang  I Blok C, Kec. Cikarang Utara, Bekasi, pada awal tahun 2021 mengalami musibah banjir kiriman yang cukup besar. Banjir tersebut disebabkan salah satunya karena sistem saluran air limbah rumah tangga dan pengelolaan sampah di wilayah tersebut masih kurang efektif. Sampah merupakan salah satu masalah penting yang dihadapi oleh setiap rumah tangga khususnya daerah padat penduduk seperti warga RT 02/RW014 Desa Simpangan.  Sampah yang berasal dari kegiatan rumah tangga yang tidak dikelola dengan baik dapat membawa dampak buruk seperti banjir tersebut. Salah satu solusi penanganan sampah adalah melakukan penyuluhan dan pendampingan pentingnya mengelola sampah bagi para warga masyarakat. Makalah ini bertujuan memaparkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu pembinaan para ibu Rumah Tangga di RT 02/RW014 Desa Simpangan Kec. Cikarang Utara, Bekasi terkait pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga menjadi pupuk organik cair. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan berupa penyuluhan secara online dan pendampingan pengeloaan sampah organik rumah tangga menjadi pupuk cair. Pupuk cair hasil olahan sampah organik rumah tangga dimanfaatkan langsung untuk sektor tamanisasi di wilayah tersebut. Selain itu pengelolaan pupuk organik cair berpeluang menjadi produk yang dapat dijual untuk membantu para ibu rumah tangga mendapatkan tambahan penghasilan keluarga. Berdasarkan hasil kisioner, tanggapan warga terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan ini diperoleh nilai rata-rata hampir 100 % warga puas. Secara global hasil kegiatan ini dapat membantu memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat akan pentingnya ekosistem berkelanjutan (sustainable ecosystem)
