Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of inquiry learning models with pictorial riddle methods on students' creative thinking abilities. This research is a quasi-experimental (Quasy Experiment) with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely class X IPA 2 and class X IPA 3, each of which amounted to 30 students. The creative thinking ability test instrument consisting of 12 items and observation sheets was used to collect data in this study. The results of the study were analyzed using SPSS v-22 software for windows. The results showed that: 1) the average initial test scores of the experimental and control classes were 45.7 and 44.1 respectively; 2) the average initial test scores of the experimental and control class were 79.2 and 68.8 respectively; 3) homogeneity prerequisite tests show homogeneous data and normality tests show normally distributed data; 4) t-test results obtained Sig. (2-tailed) posttest data (0.00) is smaller than alpha testing (0.05), so the working hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Thus, the inquiry learning model with the pictorial riddle method influences students' creative thinking abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of chitosan stirring time from shrimp shells as gold absorber. Experimental research was conducted in this study, where the manufacture of chitosan from shrimp shells began with demineralization (mineral removal) using 1.5 M HCl, deproteination (protein removal) using 3.5% NaOH and deacetylation (acetyl removal) using 60% HCl. The chitosan formed was weighed 0.1 gram (as many as five samples) and then stirred in a 10 ppm Au solution, with a stirring time of 0, 10, 20, 30, and 40 minutes, and its absorption ability to gold was analyzed using AAS (Atomic Absorbsion Spectroscopy) and obtained percentage of absorption respectively 24.79%, 50.89%, 45.64%, 40.52% and 37.87%. From the results of the study, it was found that there was an effect of chitosan stirring time from shrimp shells as gold absorber and the highest absorption at 10 minute stirring was 50.89%.

Abstract

[Title: The Effect of Cooperative Learning Model Type Make A Match with One Physical Ranking Game Toward Student Motivation and Learning Outcomes]. This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning model type make a macth with ranking one physical game on student motivation and learning outcomes. This research is quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest control group design. Population in this research is all students of class VII SMPN 2 Dompu which amounted to 124 people. Research sample consists of two classes that are class VII A which amounted to 30 people as control class and class VII B totalling 30 people as experimental class taken using random sampling technique. The results showed that homogeneity test and normality of learning motivation data and student learning outcomes were normally distributed and variance of both homogeneous data. This data is then analyzed using t-test, obtained tcount for learning motivation is 2,318 and ttable 2,002 or can be written mathematically is tcount> ttabel. While the learning results obtained tcount = 4.152 and ttabel = 2.002 or can be written mathematically is tcount> ttable at 5% significant level. The results of this study indicate that there is the influence of cooperative learning model type make a macth with ranking one physical game of student motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

[Title: Test Press Concrete of Gold Processing Waste With Variation of Rice Husk Ash Composition]. Lightweight concrete has been made from waste raw materials processing of gold and ash husk of rice with cement as the supporting materials, foam, and ADT. The purposed light brick-making determined the density and compressive strength. Concrete light created by variations in waste processing of gold and ash husk of rice was respectively 10% LPE + 90% ASP, 25% + 75%, 50% + 50%, 75% + 25%, 100% + 0% (in% volume), hardening time for 11 days. Parameter test performed include density test and compressive strength test. Test results showed that the density and the compressive strength of lightweight concrete with a variation of plus gold processing waste and ash husk of rice, the amount of cement on the conditions remained and the drying time for 11 consecutive days, the density of 1.005 gr/cm3, 0.986 gr/cm3, 1.077 gr/cm3, 1.091 gr/cm3, 1.133 gr/cm3 and the compressive strength of 1.34 MPa, 1.16 MPa, 1.77 MPa, 1.03 MPa, 1.29 , The intensity of the density and the compressive strength was influenced by the amount of foam mix, rice husk ash and ADT.

Abstract

[Title: Development of Physics Student Worksheets Based on Image on Vibration and Waves Material]. Has conducted development research of media instruction in the form of Physics student worksheet (PSW) based image. This study aims to determine the eligibility of PSW based image subject matter of vibration and wave material in the class of VIII SMPN 4 Batukliang. Subjects in this study were students of class VIII SMPN 4 Batukliang the school year 2015/2016 amounting to 21 students. Methods of data collection in this study is the questionnaire. Eligibility test carried out by the validation by expert lecturers Mataram Teachers' Training College physical education and assessment by a physics teacher and students in a limited group test conducted at SMPN 4 Batukliang. The results of this development study found that the results of eligibility by expert lecturer percentage of 86.5%, then from teachers of eligibility obtained the percentage of 94%. The results based on the results of validation expert lecturers and showed a very good physics teacher. The response of the students was also very good with a percentage of 96.71% eligibility. Based on this analysis showed that the student worksheet physic-based image very decent used in the learning process.

Abstract

[Title: Porosity Test and Compressive Strength of Lightweight Brick Based on Gold Processing Waste (LPE) with Banana Tree Filler (FPP)]. Lightweight concrete bricks are made from gold processing waste (LPE) and banana tree filler (FPP) with cement, foam, and clear water. The purpose of making light brick to know the value of porosity and value of compressive strength. Lightweight brick is made with gold processing waste (LPE) and banana tree filler (FPP) consecutively is 250 ml of LPE + 1 layer of FPP, 250 ml of LPE + 2 layers of FPP, 250 ml of LPE + 3 layers of FPP, 250 ml of LPE + 4 layers of FPP . Hardening time is carried out for 22 days in sunlight unspoiled. Tests performed include: density test, porosity test, and compressive strength test. From the test results showed that the porosity value and compressive strength of lightweight concrete bricks with gold processing waste plus the filler of banana trees with the amount of cement in the fixed condition and drying time for 22 consecutive days, the density value 1349, 09 kg / m3, 1290 kg / m3, 1121.6 kg / m3, 1168.3 kg / m3, 1254 kg / m3 and compressive strength value of 2.43 MPa, 1.25 MPa, 1.68 MPa, 2.13 MPa, 1.32 MPa. The high value of porosity and compressive strength value is influenced by the amount of mixture of foam, banana tree filler (FPP) and stirring method

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil pengujian di laboratorium penguji Balai Pengkajin Teknologi Pertanian (BPTP) NTB bahwa batuan tambang yang ada di daerah Sekotong tidak hanya mengandung emas tetapi terdapat beberapa kandungan mineral lainnya seperti P, Zn, Fe, Cu, Al, dan S, metode yang digunakan dengan AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry). Logam berat Fe merupakan logam berat essensial yang keberadaannya dalam jumlah tertentu sangat dibutuhkan oleh organisme hidup, namun dalam jumlah yang berlebih dapat menimbulkan efek racun. Untuk mengatasi masalah maka melakukan dua kegiatan yakni: a) penyuluhan tentang pentingnya kebersihan terhadap lingkungan. b) pembuatan saluran limbah agar tidak mencemari lingkungan yakni pembuatan kolam pengendapan (settling pond). Selain itu dari kolam pengendapan (settling pond) didapat lumpur dari sisa pengolahan atau penggelondongan emas, lumpur tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi barang bernilai ekonomi dan memiliki harga jual seperti bata tanpa bakar. Hasil dari kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu pengetahuan masyarakat penambang tentang pentingnya lingkungan yang bersih dan kolam pengendapan (settling pond) dan kemampuan masyarakat tambang dalam mengolah limbah menjadi barang bernilai jual yaitu dengan membuat bata tanpa bakar. Keberhasilan dari kegiatan ini terlihat dari banyaknya masyarakat yang hadir dan antusiasnya mereka dalam mendukung kegiatan ini yakni dengan terjun langung membantu.Counseling and Making Settling Pond in an Effort to Reduce Mine Waste PollutionAbstractBased on the test results at the NTB Agricultural Technology Center (BPTP) examiner laboratory that mining rocks in the Sekotong area not only contain gold but there are several other mineral contents such as P, Zn, Fe, Cu, Al, and S, the method used with AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry). Heavy metal Fe is an essential heavy metal whose existence in a certain amount is needed by living organisms, but in excessive amounts can cause toxic effects. To overcome the problem, two activities are carried out, namely: a) counseling about the importance of cleanliness to the environment. b) making sewage lines so as not to pollute the environment, namely the creation of settling ponds. Besides that, from settling ponds, sludge is obtained from the processing waste or gold rolling, the sludge can be utilized as economic value goods and has a selling price such as brick without burning. The results of the activities carried out are the knowledge of the mining community about the importance of a clean environment and settling ponds and the ability of the mining community to process waste into valuable goods, by making bricks without burning. The success of this activity can be seen from the large number of people present and their enthusiasm in supporting this activity by jumping in to help.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk pelatihan, transfer teknologi, dan penyuluhan tentang pembuatan batako ringan dari limbah pengolahan emas kepada mitra. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di MA Al-Intishor Tanjung Karang, Mataram. Dalam pengabdian ini siswa dan guru akan: 1) dijelaskan tentang bahaya limbah pengolahan emas serta bagaimana proses penanganannya sehingga menjadi ramah lingkungan; 2) dilatih/praktik bagaimana proses pembuatan batako ringan dari limbah pengolahan emas, sehingga menghasilkan batako ringan; 3) dilatih memvariasikan filler/penguat pada batako ringan dengan menggunakan bahan/material yang selama ini kurang dimanfaatkan sehingga batoko menjadi semakin kuat dan ringan. Luaran dari pengabdian ini yaitu bertambahnya ilmu siswa dan guru tentang pengelolaan limbah dan batako ringan hasil buatan sisw adan guru.Training of Making Lightweight Brick from Traditional Gold Processing Waste in Students of MA Intishor Tanjung KarangAbstractThe purpose of this service is to training, transfer technology, and knowledge about making lightweight brick from gold processing waste to partners. In this service students and teachers will: 1) learn about the dangers of gold processing and how the handling process becomes a friendly environment; 2) lightweight concrete building / processing process from gold processing waste, producing light brick; 3) Frying varies the filler / reinforcement on lightweight brick by using materials that have been underutilized so the brick becomes stronger and lighter. The output of this service is the increasing knowledge of students and teachers about the management of waste and light brick made by students and teachers.

Abstract

Optimasi Pembuatan Briket Bioarang Dari Bahan Cangkang Kemiri Dan Sekam Padi Terhadap Nilai Kalor Dan Laju Pembakaran Penggunaan bahan bakar saat ini masih bersumber dari bahan bakar fosil yaitu bahan bakar minyak, batu bara dan gas. Briket adalah sumber energi yang berasal dari biomassa yang digunakan sebagai minyak bumi dan energi dari fosil. Briket yang paling umum digunakan adalah briket batu bara, briket arang, briket gambut, dan briket biomassa. Briket dapat dibuat dari bahan baku yang banyak kita temukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, lain batok kelapa, jamplung, eceng gondok, tongkol jagung, kulit kacang tanah, cangkang kemiri dan sekam padi.dan lain sebagainya. Pembuatan briket arang cangkang kemiri dan sekam padi dilakukan dengan proses karbonisasi, Pembuatan briket dengan persentase 90%-0%, 75%15%, 60%-30%, 45%-45%, 30%-60%, 15%-75%, 0%-90% (ACK dan ASP) perekat menggunakan tepung kanji (tepung tapioka) dengan menggunakan 10% perekat. Selanjutnya briket cangkang kemiri dan sekam padi diuji kadar air, densitas, nilai kalor dan laju pembakaran. Hasil pengujian briket cangkang kemiri dan sekam padi menghasilakan kadar air 5,12%, densitan 0,61 m3, nialai kalor tertinggi 5019 (kalor) dan laju pembakaran 0,33 gram/menit. Briket cangkang kemiri dan sekam padi dapat dijadikan bahan bakar alternatif karena memiliki nilai kalor yang cukup tinggi yaitu 5019 kal. Briket cangkang kemiri dan sekam padi pada dasarnya telah memenuhi Standar Nasional Indonesia SNI 01-6235-2000 yaitu nilai kalor minimal 5000 kal/g. Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the composition of biobriquettes made from peanut shells and wood dust on the calorific value and combustion rate. This research is experimental research carried out in three stages, namely material preparation, making biobriquettes, and testing biobriquettes. The manufacturing process uses a simple briquette press. For the composition, Peanut Shell Charcoal (AKKT) + Wood Powder Charcoal (ASK) with an adhesive percentage of 10%, namely 0%+90%; 15%+75%; 30%+60%; 45%+45%; 60%+30%; 75%+15%; 90%+0%. The research results show that the calorific value ranges from 7387-1806 calories and the combustion rate ranges from 3.81-1.51 grams/minute. Based on the research results, it was found that the greater the AKKT composition, the higher the calorific value, while the resulting combustion rate was lower. So in the future, this research can be developed to make it better and better for making briquettes. Keywords: biobriquettes, peanut shells, wood dust.
