Abstract

The purpose of this study is to involve the growing sophistication of technology on education and determine the feasibility and the improvement of learning outcomes using a smartphone. This study uses a development which is the basis for developing models produced. The results of the small scale trials, improving every aspect obtained is the cognitive aspects of 59%, 49% psychomotor, and affective 0%. Gain test results criterion level of cognitive, psychomotor and the average yield was high (value ? 0.7). On the affective aspect, low level criteria (value ? 0.3). From large-scale trial found an average increase in each school obtained on the cognitive aspects of between 49% -54%, psychomotor aspects 48% -55%, affective 0%. Data validation field tests of media experts 83.33%, experts PE 85%, experts basketball 97.5% and an average of four teachers at 93.1%, as well as the responses of students amounted to 91.68%. Gain test results criterion level of cognitive, psychomotor and the average yield was high (value ? 0.7). On the affective aspect, low level criteria (value ? 0.3). Based on the above results, it can be concluded that the instructional media PE (basketball) Android-based high school students eligible for use in learning.

Abstract

The most obvious factor which really affects the capability of an athlete, especially in Semarang badminton, is psychological factors. One technique supposed to represent all the mental techniques are yoga. A total of 20 athletes (12 men & 8 women) from the badminton club in Semarang participated in this study. Quasi-experimental was used in the study. Two groups were selected according age group and class, and both are candidates of the provincial team. We measured anxiety levels with CSAI-2R and sphygmomanometer. We analyze the data using t-test and index gain. Cognitive anxiety item on the yoga group decreased (x=-2.10; -21.21%), and so did the control group (x=-0.20; -2.19%). Somatic anxiety symptoms were similar to yoga group (x=-3.50; -26.92%), but not for the control group, which increased (x=1.70; 17.71%). Whereas self-confidence has a negative correlation to other variables, the yoga group increased (x=2.00; 12.35%) but the control group decreased (x=-0.30; -1.99%).The last was badminton performance, yoga group increased (x=2.40; 14.67%) and whereas the control group decreased (x=-3.283; -17.23%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis (1) Perbedaan pengaruh latihan plyometrics Jump to box dan double tuck jump terhadap kecepatan renang gaya dada, (2) Perbedaan pengaruh tungkai panjang dan tungkai pendek terhadap kecepatan renang gaya dada, (3) Interaksi antara latihan plyometrics dan panjang tungkai terhadap kecepatan renang gaya dada. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan faktorial 2x2, populasi 30 atlet renang, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet kelompok umur 1 PRSI Sumatera Selatan yang berjumlah 20 atlet putra, teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling, instrumen tes dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Tes panjang tungkai, (2) Tes kecepatan renang gaya dada 50 meter. Teknik analisis data menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur. Hasil penelitian, Latihan plyometrics Fhitung > Ftabel 62,128 > 3,59. Panjang tungkai Fhitung > Ftabel 270 > 3,59. Interaksi plyometrics dan panjang tungkai Fhitung > Ftabel 17,005 > 3,59. Kesimpulan: (1) Ada perbedaan pengaruh latihan plyometrics jump to box dan double tuck jump terhadap kecepatan renang gaya dada. (2) Ada perbedaan pengaruh latihan plyometrics jump to box dan double tuck jump yang memiliki tungkai panjang dan tungkai pendek. (3) Ada interaksi antara latihan plyometrics dan panjang tungkai terhadap kecepatan renang gaya dada.This study aims to analyze (1) Difference Effect of Plyometrics Exercise jump to box and double tuck jump on swimming speed breastroke. (2) The difference of long and short limb effect to breaststroke swimming. (3) Interaction between plyometrics exercises and leg length of the swimming speed of 50 meter breaststroke. The type of this research is experiment with 2x2 factorial design, Population of 30 athletes, sample in this study were athletes of age group I PRSI South Sumatera totaling 20 men’s swimming athletes. Sampling technique purposive sampling, Test instrument in this research that is: (1) Test leg length, (2) Test speed 50-meter breaststroke swimming. Data analysis techniques use two-way ANAVA. Research result, plyometrics exercise Fhitung > Ftabel 62,128 > 3,59. Long legs Fhitung > Ftabel 270 > 3,59. Interaction of plyometrics and leg length Fhitung > Ftabel 17,005 > 3,59. Conclusion: (1) There are differences in the effect of plyometrics jump to box and double tuck jump exercise on the 50 meter breaststroke swimming speed of PRSI athletes South Sumatera. (2) There are differences in the effect of plyometrics jump to box and double tuck jump exercises that have long limbs and short limbs athletes swimming PRSI South Sumatera. (3) There is a difference in interaction between plyometrics and leg length exercises on the 50 meter breaststroke swimming speed athletes PRSI South Sumatera.

Abstract

Menyepak merupakan ibu dari permainan sepaktakraw, servis merupakan serangan awal yang dilakukan oleh tekong. Komponen kodisi fisik yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan servis adalah power otot tungkai karena servis membutuhkan ayunan kaki yang kuat dan cepat. Metode latihan lunge split dan step up merukan metode latihan yang dapat meningkatkan power otot tungkai. Penelitian ekperimen dirancang menggunakan group desain dengan factorial 2x2. Penelitian dilakukan di PSTI Kabupaten Demak, sampel penelitian 20 atlet usia 13-18 tahun dengan mengunakan purposive sampling. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Metode latihan step up lebih baik dari pada metode latihan lunge split untuk meningkatkan servis; (2) Panjang tungkai tinggi lebih baik dari pada panjang tungkai rendah untuk meningkatkan servis; (3) Terdapat interaksi antara metode latihan dan panjang tungkai terhadap hasil servis.Kicking is the main part of Sepaktakraw game. Servicing is an initial kicking attack carried out by main kicker (Tekong). A powerful service needs leg muscle power, which means that it needs strong and quick leg. Lunge split and step up methods can increase leg muscle power. This study was an experimental research used 2x2 factorial group design. It was conducted in PSTI Demak regency on 20 athletes aged 13-18 years as samples selected by using purposive sampling. The conclusions are: (1) step up exercise method was better than the lunge split to improve the service power; (2) leg length of higher category was better than the lower one to improve the service power; (3) There was an interaction between the exercise method and the leg length towards the service power.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) Analyze the contribution of anxiety to athlete performance, (2) Analyze the contribution of self self confidence to athlete's performance, (3) Analyze the contribution of motivation to athlete's performance, (4) Analyze the contribution of anxiety, self confidence, and motivation to athlete performance. This research uses correlation method. Population in this research is volleyball atlet of Tunas Pekalongan which amounts 42 person athletes. The sample in this research is 30 male athletes taken by purposive sampling technique (Gender, Age). Variables in this research consist of three variables: Anxiety (X1), Self Self confidence (X3), and Motivation (X3) while the dependent variable is Y Volley Ball Athlete). Instruments and techniques of data collection using tests. Data analysis technique using path analysis technique with prerequisite test that is test of normality, linearity and multicolinearity. The results showed that the performance to athlete received significant contribution from Anxiety of 45.02%, Self Self confidence of 32.15%. Motivation of 57.61%. Anxiety, Self Self confidence, and Motivation of 65.50%. The conclusion of this research is the factor of anxiety, self confidence, and motivation has contributed to the performance both alone and together.

Abstract

The study aims to produced development of Badminton Skills Test Instrumens for athletes in age groups of children, cub, teenager and youth. This study is a type of Research and Development (R & D). In this study, the steps which should be done are: (1) preliminary study, (2) planning (analysis), (3) initial draft design, (4) draft validation, (5) small-scale product test and revision, (6) big-scale product test and revision, (7) result. The product produced in this study are badminton skill test instrumens, there are: (1) short-serve, (2) long-serve, (3) forehand lob, (4) forehand smash, (5) forehand drop shot, and (6) footwork for athletes in age children, beginners, teenagers and cadets which can be equipped with the test norms. The result of validations from the expert of academic, trainers and practitioners (player) of badminton as a whole stated that ‘very good’ with average score 3,66. Conclusion in this study is that based on the result of the data and expert’s judgments, the development of badminton skill test instrumen product for children, beginners, teenagers and cadets are worthy of being used as a standard badminton test instrumens. The suggestion from the researcher is that the result of this development can be used as one of alternative test for the basic skills assessment technique of local badminton athletes.

Abstract

The research objectives are to evaluate and to analyze: (1) the antecedent covering background and objective of coaching program at Indonesian Swimming Association or PRSI (Persatuan Renang Seluruh Indonesia) in South Sumatera; (2) the transaction including athletes and trainers recruitment, implementation of training programs, facilities and infrastructures, consumption, coordination, transportation, welfare of trainers and athletes, funding sources of coaching programs of PRSI in South Sumatera; (3) the outcome encompassing the success of swimming program of PRSI in South Sumatera. Then, this research used qualitative research by applying evaluation of Countenance (Stake). From this research, it can be concluded that; (1) the antecedent of both the background and the purpose of coaching program are clear, (2) the transaction of the recruitment system of both trainers and athletes and the implementation of the training have done well, the national and international standard facilities and infrastructures have been proper maintained, the availability of consumption of athletes is in poor conditions, the transportation used by athletes and coaches is quite good, the coordination and the funding obtained are run well; (3) the outcome of coaching program at PRSI of South Sumatera has decreased.

Abstract

This study aims to: evaluate the antecedent, PPLP NTT taekwondo sporting achievement program which includes athletes and coaches, financing, facilities and infrastructure, evaluating transactions, controlling training and learning processes, calmness, training planning programs, consumption, promotion and degradation, transportation and coordination, evaluating outcomes, namely achievements in sports and academic fields. This study is a program evaluation research, with qualitative research methods, the model of the approach used is the evaluation of model maintenance, the source of the research data is the management, trainers and athletes. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation and data circulation. The results of this study are: antecedent, including the selection of athletes and coaches going well because they are selected based on the terms and conditions that apply, poor infrastructure and facilities due to unavailability of buildings and mattresses for training, good sources of funds because the source of funds comes from Kemenpora and APBD , transaction, covering the control of the learning exercise process in accordance with what was determined, the calm has been going well because in the dormitory there are those who control, the implementation of the training program is very good because there is an exercise program, funding/funding is good enough, consumption and transportation are good, coordination has gone well, the outcome, the achievements of athletes in the field of sports have decreased performance and are not stable because they have not reached the expected target, achievement in the academic field is good enough. The conclusion is that: Antecedents, selection of athletes and coaches that are feasible because they are selected through a selection process in accordance with the appropriate provisions, facilities and infrastructure are still not fully fulfilled, for funding has gone well, funds come from Kemenpora and supported by NTT provincial APBD funds. Transaction control of the training and learning process has been going well, the trainer is always required by the board to take part in trainings, the administrators always provide counseling related to nutrition and psychology to athletes, calmness is running well because there is control, the implementation of the training program has been running according to what has been determined by the trainer, consumption, promotion and degradation is already underway with what is stipulated by PPLP NTT, transportation is quite good, coordination has gone well without any significant obstacles. Outcome, achievement in the field of sports has decreased, for achievement in the academic field is quite good because there has been no degradation through academic achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Performance, Commitment, and Self-concept of Physical Education Teachers in Tanjung Pura-Langkat District. This research method uses qualitative methods with ethnographic design. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The research subjects were 12 physical education teachers, consisting of 7 teachers who were not physically educated, and five teachers with a physical education background in Public Elementary School Tanjung Pura-Langkat District; secondary data are principals and coworkers. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results showed that the performance of physical education teachers in Public Elementary School Kecamatan Tanjung Pura-Langkat had not shown satisfactory results, motivated by factors educational backgrounds that are not in accordance with their fields that automatically hinder the performance of the teacher, the limitation of physical education teaching staff, which requires the school to take steps to use the services of a teacher with a background not physical education. Conclusion: research, performance, and self-concept of physical education teachers who have physical education background are better than physical education teachers who are not physically educated.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse and examine the correlation between arm muscle strength, grip strength, and body flexibility to the results of long distance shots on woodball. This research applied a correlational design with variables of arm muscle strength, grip strength, and body flexibility to the results of long distance shots on woodball. The samples of this research were 25 Central Java woodball athletes using a pull and push instrument dynamometer, handgrip dynamometer, sit and reach dynamometer and long distance shots test. The results of this research are the arm muscle strength gave an effect to the results of long distance shots by 13.18%. The grip strength gave an effect to the results of long distance shots by 9.42%. The body flexibility had an effect to the results of long distance shots by 7.78%. The arm muscle strength and the grip strength together had an effect to the results of long-distance shots by 24.50%. The arm muscle strength and the flexibility together gave an effect to the results of long-distance shots by 17.14%. The grip strength and the body flexibility together had an effect to the result of long distance shots by 13.63%. The arm muscle strength, the grip strength, and the togok flexibility together gave an effect to the results of long distance shots by 27.60%.
