Abstract

Background: Mothers who undergo labor with sectio caesarea can experience anxiety because they have never experienced surgery or do not know about the actions to be taken.Objective: The study aimed to determine the maternal anxiety level of preoperative sectio caesarea in the Maternity Room of the DKT Hospital in Sidoarjo.Method: The research design used was descriptive method with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were patients who will undergo labor with sectio caesarea in the Maternity Room of the DKT Hospital in Sidoarjo. Sampling technique with accidental sampling. The instrument used was the Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety (HRS-A) which was adopted from the book Stress, Anxiety, and Depression Management (Hawari, 2004), which included 14 psychological symptoms of anxiety.Results: The results showed that the most anxiety level of preoperative sectio caesarean mothers was moderate anxiety as many as 25 people (50%).Conclusion: The anxiety level of mothers who will undergo Caesarean section surgery is moderate anxiety, so special care is needed by health workers. Handling that can be given in the form of health education about surgical procedures and post-surgical treatment. In addition, providing knowledge to the family so that they will continue to motivate mothers who will face the caesarean section surgery. Keywords: Level of anxiety, caesarean section surgery, labor.

Abstract

Menstrual Health Promotion Activities for Adolescent Women at the 2nd Junior High School of Buduran, Sidoarjo is a form of community service in the form of counseling aimed at growing and enhancing healthy behavior in adolescents, especially in recognizing the phase of menstruation in adolescent women. The implementation of these activities on December 4, 2018 took place at the 2nd Junior High School of Buduran, Sidoarjo. The target is 7th grade students of the 2nd Junior High School of Buduran, Sidoarjo. Before the activity is carried out, there is a process of compiling the activity for 3 weeks before the activity is carried out, starting from the selection of health counseling materials to the submission of licensing to the relevant parties. As an evaluation, the activity was attended by 44 students and 1 teacher, participants participated in the activity with enthusiasm and conducive, the activity can be carried out on time smoothly. Keywords: Women’s youth knowledge, health promotion, menstruation.

Abstract

First Aid Training in Accidents (P3K) in Youth Organization and Health Care Cadres in Rangkah Kidul Village is one form of community service in the form of counseling aimed at increasing the understanding and skills of the general public towards first aid in accidents. The implementation of these activities on December 7, 2019 took place at the Rangkah Kidul Village Hall, Sidoarjo District, Sidoarjo Regency. The target is Youth Organization and Health Cadre of Rangkah Kidul Village, Sidoarjo. Before the activity is carried out, there is a process of compiling the activity for approximately 2 months before the activity is carried out, starting from determining the theme of the training to applying for permission to the parties concerned. As a form of evaluation, the activity was attended by 28 participants consisting of Health Cadres, Youth Organization, Village Officials, Head of RT / RW, and LKMD representatives. Participants participated in the activity with enthusiasm and seemed very enthusiastic, the training activities could run on time and smoothly. Abstract

Health promotion activities about first aid for syncope cases of the Senior High School of Antartika, Buduran, Sidoarjo is one form of community service in the form of counseling aimed at increasing children's knowledge about how first aid in syncope besides fatigue, syncope can also be caused by overheating, being trapped in space closed to lack of oxygen, shocked or surprised. The implementation of these activities on November 20, 2019 took place at the Senior High School of Antartika, Buduran, Sidoarjo. The target is Senior High School students of Antartika, Buduran, Sidoarjo. Before the activity is carried out, there is a process of compiling the activity for approximately 2 weeks before the activity is carried out, starting from determining the theme of counseling to submitting licensing to the parties concerned. As a form of evaluation, the activity was attended by 30 class X students, participants took part in the activity happily and looked very enthusiastic, health promotion activities could run on time and smoothly. Keywords: Knowledge, syncope cases, first aid health promotion.
