Abstract

Corn chips grinding machine is a machine that is used to grind and flatten corn to become corn chips, with a rotary grinding and piping roller movement, this machine is planned to have a capacity of 100 kg / f am, this test is to determine the production capacity, quality of piping hash, productivity analysis and variation in distance when selecting corn chips from the test results there is a 24 rpm rotation with a 2 mm piping roller distance obtained a capacity of 144 kg / hour with a production power of 5.36 watts / kg, at round 24 with a 3.5 mm piping roller distance obtained a maximum capacity of 122 kg / hour with engine productivity power of 6.33 watts / kg, 24 rpm pwda piwaran with jarctlc 5 mm piping roller obtained a maximum capacity of 133 kg / hour with a 633 watt / kg engine production capacity. the capacity obtained by empingfagung grinding machine is different due to the difference in time when testing start and first 29.69 second trial seconds 29.52 seconds, and the third experiment 32.58 the quality of piping is 79.5% at the distance of the piping roller piping is 77.5% on 3.8 mm piping roller distance, 82.5% kwalitasii on 5mm piping roller distance.

Abstract

Adapun rancang bangun mesin pencuci umbi wortel,dimana drum dilapisi oleh karet dan poros penggerak dilapisi benang nilon,ada beberapa hal yang penting diperhatikan dalam rancangan ini antara lain yaitu :merancang daya motor penggerak,merencanakan komponen-komponen utama dan komponen-komponen pendukung : motor listrik,reduser,poros,pully,sabuk,bantalan,karet,brus pembersih,drum pemutar,corong masuk dan keluar,handle pembuka dan penutup,kerangka mesin,dan gambar kerja mesin.Hasil dari perancangan adalah : Drum pemutar wortel direncanakan dengan diameter 60 (cm) dan panjang 70 (cm), daya motor digunakan 1,0 (Hp), dengan tegangan 220 volt dan frekuensi 50 Hz dengan satu fhasa,dan menggunakan reduser speed dengan type 50 dan perbandingan putar 1:50.Bahan poros S35C-D dengan tegangan tarik 53 (kg/mm2),torsi yang terjadi 778,504 (kg.mm),diameter poros 20 (mm) dan panjang 1000 (mm),bantalan pendukung poros penggerak dengan No.6004VV diameter 20 (mm).dengan menggunakan 2 pully dengan ukuran 57 (inci),karet pembersih yang dipasang dibagian sisi drum 160 buah,brus pembersih dari benang nilon yang dipasang dibagian sisi poros penggerak,rangka mesin dengan panjang 150 (cm) dan tinggi 80 (cm),corong masuk panjang atas 30 (cm),tinggi bagian belakang 6 (cm),corong keluar penjang 80 (cm) tinggi bagian depan 3 (cm),handel drum 700 (mm), lebar handel pembuka 300(mm),panjang jepitan pembuka 600 (mm)

Abstract

In the process of processing cassava chips, especially chili chips made by the patumbak village community, ranging from stripping, washing, chopping, soaking and packing still use human labor and are done manually with simple tools. So that this problem can be overcome, the solution is to have designed and made cassava chopper machines. The purpose of this PKMS is to help solve the problems faced by small home industries with Appropriate Technology independently in the village patumbak, village. The implementation method begins by examining the technological and equipment deficiencies in the processing of cassava chips, especially the cassava chopper machine. During this time the process of chopping cassava before being fried into chips is done manually. The method used to achieve the PKMS goal is to make a cassava chopper machine in the village of Patumbak. The results obtained are that the PKMS activities have been completed by the team for 1 period of activity, the final result has been obtained the application of appropriate technology in the form of cassava chopper machines in partner villages and partners was greatly helped by these activities. From the activities that have been carried out the last questionnaire score that has been distributed to partner villages is the highest score influencing the results of understanding of the community or partners, where PKMS 2019 partners are satisfied and helped by the existence of the abdimas. The final result that has been obtained is the production of cassava chips increased by 50% when compared to before the team came to do PKMS activities, the condition of this improvement was seen after partners used cassava chopper machines from the PKMS team.
