Abstract

This research was conducted on March 2016 at the Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory at Fisheries and Marine Science Faculty, University of Riau. The research aim to observe the embryonic of pawas (Osteochilus hasselti C.V) with to test levels optimum of incubation temperature. The method used in this research is an experimental method and design used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications. The treatment used is P0I26 (hatching with incubation temperature 26°C), P1I28 (hatching with incubation temperature 28°C), P2I30 (hatching with incubation temperature 30°C), P3I32 (hatching with incubation temperature 32°C). The result obtained by the fasted deviding process contained in the treatments in P3I32 (hatching with incubation temperature 32°C) is 2-32 cell devision of cell is 1 hour 15 minutes, morula to gastrula is 4 hours 36 minutes and the formation of embryo until the eggs hatch shield takes 17 hours 45 minutes.Keywords : Pawas (Osteochilus hasselti C. Abstract

This research was conducted on April-May 2016 located at Jln. Kamboja No. 38, Simpang Baru, Panam, Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research to determine the population of Daphnia magna were cultured on different media and stocking density that generates the highest population. This research method used is an experimental method. The experimental design used was completely randomized design (CRD) with factorial design 2 factors which consisted of factors A: Media different that Poc Nasa 12 ml/l, Chicken Manure 12 g/l, Elephant Grass 12 g/l, Banana Stem 12 g/l and factor B: Solid different initial stocking 10 ind/l, 20 ind/l and 30 ind/l as many as 12 treatments, 3 repetitions so obtained 36 experimental units. Media and stocking density is very real (P<0,01) effect on the population Daphnia magna. The best treatment of Daphnia magna population during the 20 day study period generated by treatment of K12P30 (Chicken Manure 12g/l+ Stocking Density 30 ind/l) with an average value of 190. While the lowest for the treatment population N12P10 (Nasa 12 ml/l+Stocking Density 10 ind/l) with an overall average of 25 ind/l.Based on the analysis of the content of nutrients nitrogen (N) at the beginning and end of the study the culture medium Daphnia magna there are differences of each culture medium which is to Content Nitrogen (N) at the beginning of the study on media Chicken Manure 1,295 mg/l, Poc Nasa 0,622 mg/l, Elephant Grass 0,414 mg/l, and Banana Stem 0,518 mg/l. while the Content of Nitrogen (N) at the end of the study on Chicken Manure media 1.008 mg/l, Poc Nasa 1,915 mg/l, Elephant Grass 3,326 mg/l, and Banana Stem 0,907 mg/l. Water quality during the study showed a good range for growth of Daphnia magna is Temperatures range between 28,1 - 30,8 °C, DO ranged from 3,1 – 5,8 ppm and pH ranging from 7,1 – 8,5.Keywords : Media, Stocking density, Population, Daphnia magna

Abstract

This research was conducted in August until November 2015 in the Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, University of Riau, Pekanbaru. This research was aimed to know the triploidization effectiveness in fertilized egg of ingir-ingir larvae (Mystus nemurus) with different fertilization and heat shock. The method used in this research was the experimental method; 2 factors, 10 treatments and 3 replications. Fresh eggs and milt were fertilization, then 1, 2 and 3 minutes after fertilization zygotes were shocked by heat shock 400C for 1, 2 and 3 minutes. The treatments were, P0K0 (as control), P1K1, P1K2, P1K3, P2K1, P2K2, P2K3, P3K1, P3K2, P3K3. The result shown that the best results in treatment Fertilization Rate (P3K1=31,06%), Hatching Rate (P2K1=65,74%), Survival Rate of 4 days and Survival Rate of 21 days (P3K3=71,82% and 41,67%), the length and width of a red blood cell were (0.192 mm and 0.123 mm).Key Words: Triploidization, Mystus nemurus, Old Fertilization, Old Surprise, Heat Shock

Abstract

This research was held on March, 2016 at the Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, University of Riau Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of different incubation temperatures to the rate of yolk absorption, rate of growth in length, the efficiency of yolk utilization, survival of endogenous feeding phase and to know the right time to start feeding in the larval Catfish (Mystus nigriceps) stage. The research method used in this research was complete randomized design (CRD) with one factor, four treatment temperatures which were 260C, 280C, 300C and 320C and three replications.The results showed the highest rate of yolk-sac absorption was at temperature of 320C 20,07% (52 hours) but the maintenance medium temperatures 28°C and 30°C was the best temperatures for the rate growth in length, efficiency of yolk utilization and survival of endogenous feeding phase.Key words: Mystus nigriceps, temperature, yolk absorption

Abstract

This research was conducted for five months from 20 May – 20 October 2013, releasing % of brood fish was done in the soil pond and ovulation was carried out in the Hatchery Laboratory and fish breeding, University of Riau. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the best dose of vitamin E added to fish pellets for egg quality of kelabau fish (Osteochilus kelabau). Applied doses of Vitamin E were 0, 100, 150, 200 mg/kg pellets. Parameters measured were the duration for gonadal maturation achievement, ovi somatic index, latency time, number of eggs ovulated, egg diameter at the end of experiment. The results showed that the maturation % gonad took place in 3 month in brood fish feed wisth vitamin E 200 mg/kg pellet. Which was shorter than that with out added with vitamin E. Latency time was 13.5 hours and the average number of ovulated eggs were 4. 807. The ovi somatic index was 0.82 % and the average diameter of eggs after treatments was 1,4 mm. Whereas the control treatment without giving Vitamin E mature gonads during maintenance 5 months in rainfed pond. water quality obtained during the study available temperature about 26 – 37 0C, pH 5 – 6, Dissolved Oxygen 1,42 – 2,20 ppm, water level 32 – 37 cm and ammonia 0,18 – 0,30 ppm.Key words: Vitamin E, Eggs quality, Osteochilus kelabau.

Abstract

This research was conducted from February-June 2014 in Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, University of Riau. The objective of this research was to evaluate the intergeneric hybridization between gold fish (Carassius auratus auratus) with silver sherkminow fish (Osteochillus hasselti) by comparing the fertilization rate, hatching rate, survival rate in four days (SR-4), survival rate for 30 days (SR-30), extra weight and value heterosis ( hybrid vigor ) between fish larvae results hybridization with fish control. The method is applicable in the experimental methods, where spawning artificial was conducted by the use of eggs and fish sperm of a comet (Carassius auratus auratus) and fish nilem (Osteochillus hasselti) that has been injected using ovaprim with a dose of 0,5ml / kg.The highest percentage of fertilization is marriage ♂ K x ♀ K (75.04%), follow by ♀ K x ♂ N (70.87%), ♀ N x ♂ N (31.3%) ♀ N x ♂ K 30.14%. Persenatage the highest hatching is a control that is ♂ K x ♀ K (91.50%), which followed ♀ N x ♂ K (88.37%), ♀ N x ♂ N (87.44%) and ♀ K x ♂ N (68.67%). The highest percentage of survival rate 30 days in sequence is ♀ K x ♂ K (69.08%), ♀ N x ♂ N (60.17%) and ♀ K x ♂ N (2.06%). As for hybrid ♀ N x ♂ K died at the age of 4 and 5 days. The highest weight added sequentially is the larvae of spawning results ♀ K x ♂ N (0,23 g), ♀ K x ♂ K (0,21 g) dan ♀ N x ♂ N (0,19 g). All values of heterosis is negative except at the FR (33.29 %) and extra weight (15.25 %) from ♀ K x ♂ N.Key words : hibrydization, gold fish, nilem

Abstract

Abstract: The problem underlying this study is the low learning results can be seen in the learning process, teachers do apperception, but not as much as possible, teachers convey meteri only with the lecture method alone causing boredom in students, less teachers guide students in doing the exercises. Noting the above conditions, the researchers apply to the type of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT). NHT type cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes Elementary School class VB 116 Pekanbaru. Subjects in this study were students Elementary School VB 116 Pekanbaru academic year 2014/2015 the number of students 38 people. This study design using Action Research (PTK) done in two cycles, each cycle is done twice a meeting with one final replay. This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of mathematics in primary school students of class VB 116 Pekanbaru with the implementation of cooperative learning model with NHT. The results showed that the application of cooperative learning model NHT can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes Elementary School class VB 116 Pekanbaru. At the beginning of the data base score 60.26 (not completed) then the first cycle increased to 68.82 (not finished) and the second cycle increased to 90.00 (complete). Increased mastery learning hail from a base score to uh I adalah14,21% and an increase of the base score to UH II become 49.35%. The activities of teachers and students at the first meeting was 46.87% and 43.75% (or less), the second meeting increased to 59.38% and 56.25% (enough), the third meeting increased to 78.13% and 75.00 % (good) and the fourth meeting increased to 96.88% and 93.75% (very good). Based on the explanation of the above it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model NHT can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes Elementary School class VB 116 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Cooperative Learning NHT type, Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The study was conducted to evaluate the best effect of Human ChorionicGonadotropin Hormon (hCG) doses (800, 1000, and 1200 IU/Kg body weight offemale on breeding performance of selais fish (O. hypopthalmus) under alaboratory condition. The breeding performance was judged on the base of thetotal weight of stripped eggs, fertilization rate, hatching and survival of 6 days oldfry were considered.The results indicated that the total weight of stripped eggs were the highestwhen females were injected with 1200 IU/Kg body weight (45 eggs/g of female)compared to those injected with 1000 IU/Kg and 800 IU/Kg of body weight.Percentages of total fertilized eggs and hatching were 41,58% and 31,94%respectively, which were the highest among treatments. The highest net survivalof 6 days old fry was found to be 97,24% at 800 IU/ Kg weight of female.
