Abstract

Based on the existing guidelines in the 2013 revised curriculum, Creative Products and Entrepreneurship (PKWU) subjects have changed for the number of hours of lessons, namely currently there are six lesson hours for one week, while for adaptive and normative subjects the number of lessons has decreased. However, the teachers at SMK YPI generally do not have dual competencies that can support skills in teaching PKWU subjects. Therefore, training and mentoring are needed as provisions for teachers in teaching PKWU subjects so that the competence and skills of teachers who teach adaptive and normative subjects can increase. The main problem with partners is that the craft program has not been implemented because there is still a need for skills material to be given to students related to entrepreneurship. This service activity is carried out by providing training to normative and adaptive teachers to teach PKWU with materials, namely graphic design and making Bluetooth Mini Amplifier. From the results of the activities carried out, an evaluation was obtained, namely that for an understanding of the PKWU subject, 100% of his knowledge increased. For the use of graphic design applications and their application after training activities, it shows that 85.71% of normative and adaptive teachers know how to use graphic design applications and 14.29% really know and understand the use of graphic design applications. As for the knowledge about making bluetooth mini amplifiers a number of 14.29% of normative and adaptive teachers know enough and 85.71% of normative and adaptive teachers know how to make bluetooth mini amplifiers.

Abstract

Mushroom Kumbung is a house to take care of mushroom baglog and grow mushrooms, made from bamboo or wood. This Kumbung must have the ability to maintain the temperature and humidity of the mushroom so that it grows optimally. Control of the condition of mushroom kumbung is usually done manually, by spraying water on the mushroom baglog. This is less effective when a farmer has many kumbung, especially if far from his home. This requires a technology that can control and monitor the temperature and humidity of the kumbung. This research designs Internet of Things (IoT) technology for smart kumbung systems to condition their temperature and humidity. This research method is experimental with a quantitative approach. This study tried Thingspeak as an IoT platform with NodeMCU as its microcontroller. The sensor used for sensing humidity and temperature is DHT22 with an actuator is a sprayer, a blower and a lamp. Realtime temperature and humidity monitoring data can be accessed through an internet browser. The system works functionally according to the desired work design. Error value from the reading of the DHT22 sensor with a Digital Thermometer Hygrometer measuring instrument is still in the working area of DHT22.

Abstract

The continuous development of the internet has led to changes in routing complexity. In the context of a wide area network (WAN), network flow optimization becomes a major issue in the selection of the fastest route, which involves routing protocols. Algorithms in routing protocols are designed to determine the shortest path. Therefore, studies are needed regarding how to build a routing algorithm that can be used to get the shortest path in each process. This study aims to reduce network workload and compare the computation involved in determining the shortest path using the Greedy algorithm and the A* algorithm. The simulation results show that the A* algorithm is superior to greedy. The measurement results show that the final cost of the Greedy algorithm is 44 and the A* algorithm is 38. Taking into account the heuristic value for each node, the A* algorithm is superior to the Greedy algorithm in determining the shortest path.
