Abstract

This study aimed to describe the factual management model of teacher competency improvement focusing on instructional planning, to describe the design of the management model of teacher competency improvement by utilizing online networks, and to know the validity of the management model. This research implemented a Research and Development (R & D) approach. As the focus of this study, the development of the model is in accordance with the theory of a product-oriented model. The products of this study are in accordance with the characteristics and analysis of the needs of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. The products are regulated through a needs analysis process that meets the needs of the PAI teachers. The products are lesson plans (RPP) to be shared with colleagues. The results of the needs analysis show the importance of online tools in the improvement of the RPP. The management model of teacher competency improvement utilizes online networks using feasibility analysis, guideline preparation, user manuals, and readability tests that show positive responses from experts and users for the development of this model. The development of this model is seen as valid both from the descriptive aspects of the program and the expert analysis. The design of the teacher competency improvement training is deemed feasible to be developed for the benefit of the PAI teachers.

Abstract

'Nutritional transition' usually entails a move towards a high-energy diet and lower levels of practice with detrimental effects. The pilot research examined whether parent education works at the home level in a small group of University employees to affect food adoptions and child nutrition. Three groups of people with different degrees of skills and education participated. In all homes, weighed food records were used to determine the per capita intake. Nutrient calculators were used to determining the nutrients. Children were classified into underweight, overweight, and normal weight using BMI scores. A total of 178 individuals were present in the research, which provided us with food log data. There were 67 children from 30 households (32 (47.8%) were girls and 35 (52.2%) were males). The age of children with median age is 5.52 ± 2.89 years. Research revealed that 43.3% of children were underweight and 25.4% were overweight by using their BMI scores. Energy consumption was higher in families with overweight children compared to families with underweight and normal children. Underweight kids come from impoverished families. The per capita consumption of the whole family in children was strongly linked with the BMI. Obesity has risen among families with medium incomes belonging to Class 2—probably in families that move up from poverty. The nutritional condition of children was largely linked with motherly education.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of onion peel tea supplementation on body composition, lipid profile, serum glucose concentration, blood glucose level, hypercholesterolemia-related risk factors, cardiovascular disorders in obese, and overweight females. Females attending Diabetic center National Hospital with a Basal metabolic index greater than 25 are randomly selected, assigned to the control group, aerobic training (AT), Onion Peel tea Supplementation (OPT), as well as AT and OPT groups. OPT group received 33 mg of onion peel tea supplementation after every meal a day in addition to AT for 6 months including 90 min of AT sessions that helped get 80% of the target heart rate. One week before the study and 3 days after the last AT session, all participants were subjected to take their blood samples. In comparison to control group weight, total body fat percentage including visceral fat and subcutaneous fat, body mass index (BMI), high-density lipoproteins (HDL), low-density lipoproteins, blood pressure, heart rate, and triglycerides show a significant decrease in AT and AT+OPT groups. No significant changes were obtained in HDL and waist to hip ratio. AT gave beneficial effects in improving Cardiovascular risk factors, hypertension, and LDL.Â
