Abstract

The aims of this study are analyzing the influence of tourism potential on the empowerment of farmers, the effect of farmers empowerment on farmer participation, and the influence of farmers participation on improving the welfare of farmers. The study is done at farmers in Subak Padanggalak, Kertalangu Culture Village. The sample done with purposive sampling which consisted of 57 people. Technique analysis data using Partial Least Square (PLS) with Smart PLS program. The research results show that tourism potential has significant impact on farmers empowerment, and it has followed by farmers empowerment also have significant impact on the farmer participation. But, to the farmers participation have not significant on increasing the farmers welfare. This indicate that, the farmer participation have yet to opimal benefit in supporting welfare their life. Farmer have yet to look as the tourism subject. The role of farmers and subak limited to support the development tourism, which the farmers have yet involvement  directly. It suggested of effort community based tourism, the need for support private sector to develop agriculture to agrotourism. Trough the development of agrotourism a lot of commodities agriculture can be developed, and been undertaken by various manufacturing agriculture products that have value to. The government through of relevant agencies are expected to provide access capital and market acces as well as various guidance in managing agricultural products as a product tourism, so that farmer as the subject tourism having competitiveness high in increase skill and produce impact on improving well-being farmers.

Abstract

Saat ini, sering terlihat bahwa petani padi terkendala saat menjelang musim tanam. Mulai dari adanya kendala pada saat pergantian cuaca yang tidak menentu, hingga yang disebabkan oleh hama dan penyakit pada tanaman padi. Hal-hal inilah yang menyebabkan petani sering sekali mengalami kerugian di musim panen. Untuk menghindari hal tersebut, petani perlu menerapkan sistem penanggalan hari baik atau dewasa ayu sehingga kondisi alam maupun cuaca yang sedang berlangsung dapat diprediksi dengan baik. PKM Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat dalam penerapan dewasa ayu dalam memilih waktu tanam yang produktif dalam upaya peningkatan hasil produksi pertanian pada tanaman padi menurut kalender Bali, untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat melalui penentuan dewasa ayu dalam melakukan berbagai ritual kegamaan hindu agar dapat menghindarkan petani dari kerugian akibat hama dan penyakit tanaman padi menurut kalender Bali, untuk mengetahui kelayakan penerapan dewasa ayu untuk diterapkan sepanjang masa dalam pertanian di Bali. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis persepsi masyarakat tani terhadap penerapan dewasa ayu melalui  kuesioner dengan ditelusuri dari aspek yakni persepsi aspek pengetahuan, musim tanam, hama penyakit, produkstivitas, dan implementasi dewasa ayu dalam kehidupan melalui ritual upakara hindu di subak. Jawaban dari beberapa responden akan dianalisa dengan teknik scoring menggunakan skala likert pada setiap jawaban dengan sebelumnya ditentukan skor total terendah dan tertinggi. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah 75 orang petani, sampel yang dipilih berdasarkan cencus sampling adalah semua petani di Subak Umalayu sebesar 75 orang.

Abstract

The study aimed to analyze the financing and benefits of analyzing production factors for watermelon production in Subak Intaran Barat, Sanur Village, Denpasar City. The study was conducted by purposive sampling in the location of Subak Intaran Barat, South Denpasar. Determination of samples using simplerandom sampling as many as 31 people. The analytical method areused income analysis and multiple linear regression with cobbdouglass measurements. Based on the results of the analysis, the average costs incurred for an average of 101.6 total (TC) of Rp.14,795,000, and the farming benefits obtained by farmers on watermelon farming were  Rp.19,278,200 and R / C Average 2.30 so it's feasible for farming. For the average area of ??100 are, the costs incurred Rp.14,562,007, and the profit is Rp.18,937,593. The results on  factors of production decreases back to scale. The magnitude of the total coefficient value towards the regression from input is 0.921. This explains that the value of return to scale on watermelon farming in Subak Intaran Barat achieves decresing return to scale where every use is twice of organic fertilizer, insecticide, urea, and labor, then production will decrease less than twice. Production factors that can significantly increase watermelon production are seeds, functionides and ponska. This happens because the seeds used by farmers are superior seeds, besides the use of functionides is very effective in killing pests that can interfere with watermelon growth, while ponska helps in vegetative formation in watermelon because it is given at the beginning of plant growth.

Abstract

Research on the factors that influence the perception of the role of farmers certified Arabica coffee geographical indication in the village of Catur, Kintamani Distrit, Bangli Regency the efforts to increase the productivity of coffee farmers Arabica. This research aims to: (1) find out the perception of the role of Arabica coffee growers certification of geographical indications Arabica coffee in the village of Catur, Kintamani Distrit, Bangli Regency, and (2) find out the factors that influence the perception of farmers of the role of certification of geographical indications Arabica coffee. This research uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. Analysis on the analysis with qualitative methods with measurement scales use likert scale, respondents answers and analysis the second objective in the analysis with quantitative methods with measurement scale using the SPSS version 17.0. The results of this research show that the perception of the role of Arabica coffee growers certification of geographical indications was very good. It can be seen from the 4 indicators natural factors, human factors, characteristics and quality of the coffee. Of the fourth such indicators research index of perception of farmers very good is at number 86.6%. Factors that influence the perception of the role of farmers certification berpengruh geographical indications are positive and significant. The influence by 5 indicators, sale price, production, labor, and land area, capital.

Abstract

The scrape concept of world tourism towards an ecotourism model is due to the saturation of tourists to visit artificial tourism objects. The principle of ecotourism has an inseparable part by minimizing the negative impact of the surrounding environment through conservation efforts by maintaining the quality of the environment and local culture, as well as being able to empower the economy of the surrounding community. Subak in Bali have a role  multifunctional and strategic role as a food producer and preservation of natural and cultural resources needed by the tourism industry. The involvement of local communities is the main key in tourism development, so the concept of empowerment arises as an effort to provide local communities to be free from voicelessness and powerlessness. In an effort to empower and preserve urban agriculture, the ecotourism development strategy model includes: (1) S-O strategy, to increasing agricultural productivity, tourist attractions, preserving the environment, and improving the economy of the community with tourism activities carried out. (2) S-T Strategy, to active participation of farmers in tourism management in Kertalangu Cultural Village, so as to increase income. (3) W-O strategy, to educate and counseling through Denpasar City government agencies to farmers related to tourism programs that are run and increasing varieties and agricultural productivity, so that marketing of agricultural products in tourism areas is more effective and profitable (4) W-T strategy, to establish cooperation with the government, other private parties to enhance tourism promotion and develop agricultural and cultural attractions in the future program sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims: (1) To preserve the environment by utilizing banana peels waste into masks and knowing how to make them; (2) For people to switch from chemicals to natural materials such as banana peel waste; (3) In order to find out the marketing strategy of face masks from waste. The method of implementation uses descriptive methods. Data collected through observation. The results showed that the process of making a banana skin mask using 100 kg of banana skin waste produced 65 products of Nuri Glow Face Mask at a price per product of 45,000, banana peel waste containing zerotin which serves to improve mood, reduce pain on the face because it contains a number of vegetable oils, banana peels contain anti-fungal substances that can prevent bacteria from multiplying and acidic properties and also sepah which serves to reduce excess oil on the face, accelerate the fading of scars, because basically banana peels contain a number of vitamin C. Nuri Glow Face Products Mask addressed to high school teenagers and students. The marketing area of this banana skin mask is only marketed in the Denpasar area.

Abstract

Eco-Agro-tourism in Subak Sembung is one of Subak's cultural landscapes in the middle of Denpasar and which has unique characteristics with an environmentally friendly system and a rice mina system as well as security, beauty so that it can be made one of the identities of the city of Denpasar. the purpose of this research is to find out: 1) The extent of farmers' participation in the development of Eco-Agro Tourism and to find out 2). What factors are related to Participation This study was conducted for 3 months from October to December 2019. This location was chosen deliberately (purposive sampling). The data used are qualitative and quantitative data. The population is 132 farmers. By using Slovin and a sample of 57 people. Participatory data analysis methods with a Likert scale. To find out the factors, a Chi-square analysis was performed. The area of arable land and the factor of the number of family members have a significant relationship to the participation of farmers. The degree of relationship measured by the correlation coefficient of each of the arable land area factors is equal to Ï’ = + 0.422 and the factor of the number of family members is equal to Ï’ = + 0.402. This means that the direction of the relationship is positive and strong enough.

Abstract

This study discusses the level of farmer adoption in corn development in Subak Padanggalak, Kesiman Kertalangu village, East Denpasar District, Denpasar City Regency. This study aims to: (1) determine the the level of farmer adoption in corn development (2) determine the factors that affect the level of farmer adoption in corn development. Respondents used 25 saturated sampling methods. The first objectiveanalysis used the secod objective analysis used regression test (t) and test (f) methods. The results of this study indicate that the level of farmers has a positive effect. The factors that influence the level of farmer adoption, namely age, eduction, land area, land status, farming experience, and number of family members have a positive effect on the level of farmer adoption for corn development

Abstract

This research aims to determine how the income level of Arabica coffee is, as well as to find out what factors affect the income of Arabica coffee farmers in Tambakan Village, Kubutambahan District, Buleleng Regency. The location of this study was determined intentionally or purposively. The method used in this research is a survey method with a sample of the whole population so that it uses the census method. The results of the study showed that the income of Arabica coffee farming in Tambakan Village, Kubutambahan District, Buleleng Regency was IDR 52,420,096 with a total income of IDR 62,760,000 and a total production cost of IDR 10,339,905. and income factors that have a significant effect, namely significantly influence the increase or decrease in its use, are production factors, selling price factors, and production cost factors, while the land area and production capital factors do not have a significant effect on Arabica coffee farming in Tambakan Village, Kubutambahan District. , Buleleng Regency.

Abstract

The objectives of the study were: to analyze the feasibility of cayenne pepper farming in Subak Kacang Dawa, Gelgel Village, Klungkung District, Klungkung Regency, the research was conducted through a survey of 30 farmers determined through a Population Data,The results of this study indicate that cayenne pepper farmers get a more decent income. According to information from the Central Statistics Agency no. 54/08th.xvi, August 1, 2013, the production of cayenne pepper in Indonesia in 2011 was 594.22 thousand tons and in 2012 it was 702.25 thousand tons, an increase of 108.03 thousand tons (18.18 percent). This increase was caused by an increase in productivity of 0.74 tons per hectare (14.77 percent) and an increase in harvested area of ​​3.38 thousand hectares (2.85 percent). however, for the province of Bali, there has been a decline in the productivity of cayenne pepper. In 2011, the production of cayenne pepper in the province of Bali was 17.055 tons and in 2012 it was 16,041 tons, decreased by 1,014 tons. This is due to the reduced area of ​​​​farmers' land due to the conversion of land for chili cultivation and pest attacks and contracting diseases that have not been overcome by farmers
