Abstract

Penggunaan ilmu pengetahuan harus didukung dengan karakter yang baik karena pengetahuan tidak ubahnya pisau yang tajam, dapat digunakan untuk hal positip dan negatip. Tanggung jawab pihak sekolah tidak lagi hanya pada sisi pendidikan keilmuan, tetapi juga pendidikan karakter. Melalui pendidikan karakter, peserta didik SMP diharapkan mampu meningkatkan dan menggunakan pengetahuannya, mengkaji dan menginternalisasi serta mempersonalisasi nilai-nilai karakter dan akhlak mulia sehingga terwujud dalam perilaku sehari-hari. Penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan pekerti yang diselipkan pada setiap mata pelajaran yang ada di kurikulum SMP, terhadap peningkatan perilaku pada siswa SMP Budi Luhur kelas VIII dan IX tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner.Observasi lapangan berupa wawancara digunakan untuk memperoleh data primer sementara untuk data skunder diperoleh dari catatan-guru BP/BK tentang tingkah laku siswa SMP Budi Luhur Palangka Raya.Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah diberikan pendidikan karakter memberikan perubahan positif terhadap sikap dan perilaku, untuk kelas VIII terjadi peningkatan sebesar 75% dan untuk kelas IX sebesar 90%.

Abstract

Good motivation and study result of student is one of the purposes of courses. To increase them requires not only good facility but also the learning methods which appropriate and fun. The purpose of this research is to increase the motivation and learning achievement of the third-semester students in Study Program of Building Engineering Education who took engineering mechanics subject by using Discovery Learning Method. Descriptive analysis was used to figure out the student’s perception on the research variables. Lecture Activity Unit (SAP) and student’s work sheets, in individual or in group, were used as a research instrument. From the result analysis it is concluded that the average mark of learning achievement on the first cycle is 59.57 with the percentage of completion of 35.71%, and for incompletion percentage is 64,29%. The highest mark on first cycle is 78, meanwhile the lowest mark is 48. Furthermore, the second cycle shows that the average mark is 73 with the percentage of completion is 92,86%, on the other hand, for incomplete is 7,14%. In this cycle the highest mark is 92 and the lowest is 59. In the learning process, there is also a significant increase from 3 become 3.5, which means the learning process runs more dynamics and the learning organizations are better.

Abstract

To increase of study result and to develop character is one of the goals in the universIty. Academically, this research tells about the implementation of the use of Cooperative Learning type Teams Games Tournament intent to increase the study result and student’s character in Study Programme of Building Technical Education, FKIP, Palangka Raya University, who took Physic Course. Interview, observation and student woorksheets were used as research instruments in order to colect data. From the analysis it is concluded that before cooperative Learning methode type Teams Games Tournament was apllied the student’s study result was low, which shown 78,57 % student failed to accomplish, which the lowest score is twenty and the highest is seventy. The average score of study result in first cycle is 57,14 and the percentage of completion is 40,91% nine student, not complete 59,09%. The highest score in cycle 1 is 78 and the lowest is 43. From Cycle 2 it is concluded that the average score is 70,69 with the completion percentage is 86,36%, with the highest score is 92 and the lowest is 52.

Abstract

The reason why this research was held is because of the complexity of waste problem in big city has been spreading to Palangka Raya city. Lack of people awareness about waste and the waste management and also assuming that waste problem is just government issues, therefore waste problem become hard to be solved. This research has been conducted in primary school and junior high school. The research purposes are to find out how deep of student knowlege about waste and waste management, also to find out what impact that happen with student after 3R programs was conducted. The methodology of this research is collecting primary and secondary data, do interview, run the game about 3R and do data analysis. From data analysis it can be concluded that there is incresing value of knowledge and attitude about environment awareness and waste management arround 18 – 25%.

Abstract

The research was conducted in Grade XI Engineering Mapping Survey SMK Negeri 1 Palangkaraya which consists of one class which amounts to 28, then the class is divided into two classes, namely class experimental and control class, for the experimental class there are 15 students who are further subdivided into three teams, namely team A , B and C in each team there are 5 students and a control class numbered 13 students. The result of this research can be seen in the results of the hypothesis test where tcalc = 3.41 > 2.04 (ttable). For experimental class the highest score is 92 and the lowest is 68 with an average score of 80, while the highest score in control class is 85 and the lowest score is 46 with an average score of 65.5. It can be deduced that learning using learning model Type Quiz Team can improve student learning outcomes in subject: a horizontal position measurement of material in the XI Engineering Surveying Mapping Palangkaraya SMK Negeri 1 academic year 2014/2015 . To the teachers or instructors to choose teaching model Type Quiz Team, especially in subject a horizontal position measurement materials for learning, model Quiz mode is pretty good way in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The use Based on obsevation by doing interview with productive teacher show that learning approach which was implemented still use conventional method, that was discourse which commonly used although when completing the task discussion model was implemented among classmate only. It was because the teacher could not yet adjust himself with 2013 curriculum which just implemented of Xth grade student’s SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya. It couse learning process became monotonous and sends to be centered on the teacher only. So, by these problems, in this research cooperative learning of snowball throwing type was implemented to increase student’s learning result. The research using experiment quasi method by nonequivalent control group design research. The researchpopulation was whole the student of Teknik Gambar Bangunan grade X of SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya ini academic year 2014/2015 which amount 28 students consist of 16 students as experiment class and 12 students as control class was determined by the teacher of building contruction. The design approach that used ini this research kuantitative approach. This researc had done on November 2014. The data is taken from the data of student’s learning result. The result of the study showed that experiment group and control group work well (2,68 < 5,99) and the homogenoun (1,333 < 2,72). The average post test result of exsperiment group was 83,125 and control group was 68. The data technique analyze that used in this research was Uji-t, and based on the Uji-t calculation of the post test data showed that thitung 5,404 and ttabel 2,05 at 5% siqnifikansi level which mean thitung > ttabel (5,404 > 2,05). So H0 was refused and Ha was accepted. So, it can be concluded that the average student’s learning result on the parts of building construction material which taught by cooperative learning model of snowball throwing type was higher than the Student’s learning result which taught by discourse method. Therefore cooperative learnig model of snowball throwing type influenced the Student’s learning result on the part of building contruction material.
