Abstract

Weave is the identity and wealth inherent in a region. In Muna district, it is also known tohave high quality weave with diverse and interesting motifs. However the fundamental problem amongweavers is the limited media or means of promotion and sale of their weaving products. The lack ofknowledge and skills in utilizing the information technology; also the fear of weavers on motifs "theft"by other weavers are two major problems the Muna's weaving was unpublished. This research wasconducted to identify the marketing mode of Muna?s weaving and the use of IT-based communicationmedia in its marketing. Using a qualitative research model, research data was collected throughinterviews and observations and then analyzed using qualitative descriptive data analysis of Miles andHuberman's interactive models. The research findings indicated that the marketing mode of weavingwas carried out by weavers through collectors or gallery owners and also directly sold to the peoplewho come to the weave. In addition, weavers also labeled each weaving motif as intellectual propertyright, and then published it through their respective online media by filling out the account with thecontent profile type or weaving motifs produced, weaving activities, and woven drawings withcaptions or messages to illustrate the images. Serious steps are needed among the government,weavers and the public for the dissemination and education of use and the need for proposing anintellectual property right (haki) for each woven work motif produced so that there is no longer asense of fear of "theft" motifs.

Abstract

In the context of an authoritarian government, social media can be a tool of protest and criticism of the government and mobilization to end all forms of violence and repression to support the democratic process. Social media encourages political participation through online interactions of information and ideas involving various civil groups and communities. Tunisia and Egypt in Arab spring phenomena were examples where social media plays a vital role in encouraging democratization and preventing prolonged conflict and violence by governments. However, on the other hand, social media can also give a threat and challenges to democratic stability because the massive dissemination of information cannot be adequately controlled and supervised by governments, where individuals or groups that are not responsible can spread hate speech, and fake news because of certain political motives. So regulation is needed as an instrument to criminalize perpetrators, as well as collaboration between civil society and the government in monitoring, civil society groups can utilize anti-hoax discussion groups to make literacy or education regarding the use of social media wisely and correctly in order community is not easily damaged understanding to maintaining democracy stability.Keywords : Challenges, Democratic Society, Social Media, Political Mobilization

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of the Hope Family Program and find out what factors influence the Effectiveness of the Hope Family Program in the Mataindaha Village, Pasikolaga District, Muna Regency.  Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation.  The data analysis technique in this study was using descriptive qualitative analysis techniques.  Informants in the study amounted to 8 (eight) people consisting Village Head, village secretary, PKH assistant and 5 (five) PKH recipient communities. The results of this study indicate that the Effectiveness of the Family Hope Program in Mataindaha Village in supporting poverty alleviation is ineffective as seen from the indicators put forward by Sutrisno namely Understanding the Program, Target, Timely, Achieving Goals and Real Change.  Because PKH management in the field only meets 2 indicators, namely on time and real change.  While understanding the program there are still PKH recipient communities who lack understanding of the objectives, benefits and allocation of PKH funds, then the accuracy of the targets is still not appropriate because there are still PKH recipient communities from families who are able, for the achievement of the objectives it cannot yet be fully effective.  While the factors that hamper the effectiveness of the PKH Program are among them the incorrect targets that are not in accordance with the requirements or criteria for PKH recipients and the lack of coordination from the village government in relation to the management of PKH target data.

Abstract

This research aims to know and describe the application of human relation leadership in PT. Persero Jasa Raharja Sultra Branch, to know and describe the quality of service at PT. Persero Jasa Raharja Sultra Branch. The research method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive, the informant in this research is head of chairman of PT. Persero Jasa Raharja Sultra Branch, Mobile Service PT. Persero Jasa Raharja Sultra Branch, 3 people as Additional informen. Primary and secondary data sources. Technical interview, observation and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used in qualitative descriptive research. The results showed that the application of human relation leadership of PT. Persero Jasa Raharja Sultra Branch is considered not good enough. The implementation of the human relation leadership concept has not been fully implemented, where the level of implementation can be seen from several dimensions, namely: (1) communication (2) motivation (3) responsibility (4) empathy. Through the implementation of human relation of leadership in PT. Persero Jasa Raharja Sultra Branch is considered not yet able to encourage in improving the quality of service to the community. The quality of service has not been carried out completely, so it is considered not good enough, where the quality of service indicators consist of: (1) effective (2) simple (3) openness (4) responsive.

Abstract

The study aims to descrie the effectiviness of public complaint services online through the LAPOR! Application. The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This study uses data sourced from primary and secondary data. The results of this study state that the effectiveness of online public complaint services through the LAPOR! It can be said to be effective based on the indicators of measuring the criteria fo effectiveness and quality of public sevices that are good, it’s just that the accuracy indicator of diskominfo as the main admin still has to desseminate information  to yhe public that there are some complaints that are not included in the realm of  LAPOR!. However, with the LAPOR! As a means of complaint it makes it easier for the public to make a complaint. It is proven that up to September 2020, there were 173 complaints in the application data.

Abstract

Kecanduan internet telah menyerang tak hanya orang dewasa, melainkan pelajar bahkan anak-anak. Hal yang sering tejadi dikalangan pelajar setelah mengenal internet dan memasuki situs pertemanan yang ada di internet seperti Facebook, twitter, instagram dan sebagainya. Internet merupakan media yang menyajikan informasi apa saja yang dapat diakses semua orang dengan cara yang cepat dan mudah. Hasil survey awal, remaja usia sekolah di wilyah pesisir Pantai Nirwana Di Kelurahan Sulaa, Kecamatan Betoambari, Kota Baubau rata-rata menggunakan smartphone yang bisa terkoneksi dengan internet. Para remaja hampir semua menggunakan twitter, instagram dan facebook sebagai sarana yang memperlihatkan eksistensi dirinya dan membangun citra diri mereka. Saat ini pihak masyarakat dikelurahan tersebut membutuhkan pelatihan atau workshop terkait pemanfaatan media internet. Hal ini perlu dilakukan guna menambah pengetahuan dan peningkatkan keterampilan remaja dalam penggunaan teknologi di bidang pariwisata. Semakin canggih teknologi saat ini tentu akan berpengaruh terhadap kemajuan pariwisata khususnya promosi bidang pariwisata. Untuk itu dibutuhkan peran masyarakat termasuk remaja usia sekolah yang memiliki kompetensi dalam bidang pariwisata. Oleh karna itu, pengabdi berinisiatif untuk melakukan kegiatan pelatihan Citizen Journalism bagi remaja usia sekolah sebagai penunjang promosi pariwisata di wilyah pesisir Pantai Nirwana Di Kelurahan Sulaa, Kecamatan Betoambari, Kota Baubaui yang bertujuan untuk (1) memberikan pemahaman kepada remaja usia sekolah tentang pemanfaatan internet sebagai media untuk mempromosikan potensi pariwisata. (2) memberikan pemahaman terkait optimalisasi media sosial dan pentingkan mempromosikan pariwisata melalui karya citizen journalism yang diunggah ke akun media online. Luaran yang diharapkan pada kegiatan Abdimas ini adalah para peserta mampu memahami Optimalisasi  Pemanfaatan Media Online, kemudian peserta juga memiliki Keterampilan komunikasi (Public Relations) dalam menunjang bidang pariwisata yang pada akhirnya para peserta dapat  memahami terkait citizen journalism sebagai penunjang dalam meningkatkan skill serta komunikasi peserta dalam promosi bidang pariwisata.Keempat, peserta akan menerima tentang pemanfaatan komunikasi Visual sebagai skill tambahan dalam kegiatan promosi partiwisata. Terakhir, peserta akan praktik membuat berita yang kemudian diunggah di akun sosial media peserta masing-masing.

Abstract

Aktivitas pertambangan yang ada dalam suatu wilayah merupakan salah satu sumber terbesar bagi pemasukan suatu daerah, namun selain dampak positif, disatu sisi adanya aktivitas pertambangan tersebut juga menimbulkan berbagai berbagai permasalahan baru bagi masyarakat yang tinggal disekitar daerah pertambangan, baik masalah lingkungan, sosial, maupun ekonomi. Untuk itu diperlukan sebuah upaya nyata bagi masyarakat yang tinggal disekitar daerah pertambangan untuk meminimalisir dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan dari aktivitas pertambangan tersebut melalui peran serta aktif masyarakat yang dapat dilakukan melalui komunikasi pertambangan. Mitra dari Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah Kelompok masyarakat Desa Laronanga, Kecamatan Andowia, Kabupaten Konawe Utara. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat terkait tanggungjawab pihak-pihak yang terkait dengan aktivitas pertambangan didaerah mereka serta kurangnya pengetahuan serta kemampuan dalam menggunakan media komunikasi pertambangan untuk meminimalisir maupun mencegah dampak negatif dari pertambangan. Salah satu strategi solusi yang ditawarkan tim adalah memberikan penyuluhan terkait dampak pertambangan serta memberikan pelatihan terkait pemanfaatan media komunikasi pertambangan. Target luaran dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan  Desa Laronanga, Kecamatan Andowia, Kabupaten Konawe Utara terkait dampak pertambangan serta kemampuan dalam memanfaatkan media komunikasi pertambangan.Metode yang akan digunakan dalam pengabdian ini ceramah, role play, refleksi diri, dan praktek mennggunakan media komunikasi pertambangan.

Abstract

Selama masa Pandemi Covid-19 hampir sebagian besar pelaku usaha mengalami penurunan omset penjualan termasuk pelaku bisnis kuliner di Kota Kendari. Salah satu penyebab penurunan omset tersebut adalah kurangnya pengetahuan pelaku usaha kuliner terkait penerapan adaptasi/kebiasaan baru dalam menjalankan usahanya. Melalui penerapan adaptasi baru dalam menjalankan usaha kuliner maka akan meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen dari kekwatiran terhadap penyebaran virus Covid-19 pada lingkungan usaha kuliner di Kota Kendari. Minimya pengetahuan pelaku usaha kuiner terkait adaptasi kebiasaan baru mnegakibatkan masih kurang produktifnya usaha kuliner di Kota Kendari. melalui program Pengabdian masyarakat dosen yang terintegrasi Kuliah Kerja Nyata mahasiswa Universitas Halu Oleo, menjadi solusi dalam membantu pelaku usaha kuliner menjadi lebih produktif sehingga adaptasi kebiasaan baru menuju masyarakat produktif dimasa pandemi Covid-19 bagi pelaku bisnis kuliner di Kota Kendari dapat tercapai.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the coordination between the BNN and the Police in Preventing the Illicit Trafficking of Narcotics and the Factors Affecting the Coordination of the National Narcotics Agency with the Resort Police in Preventing the Illicit Trafficking of Narcotics in Kendari City. This type of research is qualitative descriptive with 7 people selected according to purposive sampling. Sources of data in this research are primary and secondary data, which were collected through observation, interviews and documentation.The results of this research indicate that the Internal Coordination Form, BNN and Polres in preventing illicit narcotics trafficking in Kendari City are said to have carried out their obligations as responsible officers by providing data and information to each institution. The form of External Coordination between BNN and Polres is communication and providing information between each other so that in the division of tasks it is considered that there are no obstacles but there are several factors that affect BNN coordination with the Resort Police, including unity of action, communication, division of labor, and discipline due to lack of awareness apparatus in their duties and responsibilities so that there is still overlap between the BNN and the Polres.
