Abstract

Quality, safe blood services are available on time, can be achieved if the service runs in a closed system, where the hospital no longer submits efforts to obtain transfusion blood to the patient's family, but the entire service mechanism is carried out by the officer. Researchers found that when blood was distributed, the treatment of the blood banks involved families of patients to distribute the blood.This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews and observation with a checklist sheet. This research was conducted at Dr.M. Yunus Bengkulu Hospital Blood Bank. The informants in this study were seven people, namely the Head of Hospital Blood Bank, 3 Hospital Blood Bank Staff and three patients' families.The results of this study were the request and receipt of donor blood from UTD in Hospital Blood Bank, blood and blood component storage in Hospital Blood Bank, transfusion blood preparation in Hospital Blood Bank, pre transfusion examination in Hospital Blood Bank, distribution to the treatment room in Hospital Blood Bank, tracing transfusion reactions in Hospital Blood Bank and recording and reporting in Hospital Blood Bank in accordance with Minister of Health regulations No.91 of 2015.Advice given to Hospital Blood Bank’s Officers to meet blood service standards is by distributing closed cold chain systems and in accordance with Minister of Health regulations No.91 of 2015. Keywords: System, Service, Blood, Hospital, Bank

Abstract

Desa Sri Kuncoro tepatnya di dusun 1 Kecamatan Pondok Kelapa Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah Kota  Bengkulu dari 40 KK terdapat 25 KK masyarakat yang tidak mengkomsumsi buah dan sayuran, berbagai dampak yang dapat terjadi jika kurang mengkonsumsi buah dan sayur,seperti mudah terserang penyakit, sering mengalami masalah gusi, obesitas ,kurangnya konsentrasi dan lemas. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan mulai dari tanggal 05 November-26 Desember 2019.  Kegiatan dimulai dari pengumpulan data, analisis, intervensi melalui penyuluhan dan selanjutnya dilakukan menitoring dan evaluasi. Setelah kami kkegiatan edukasi konsumsi buah dan sayuran tesebut, pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat akan pentingnya konsumsi buah dan sayuran menjadi bertambah, dan masyarakat sadar pentingnya konsumsi buah dan sayuran akan kesehataan. Hendaknya masyarakat dusun 1 desa sri kuncoro agar lebih memperhatikan dan sadar akan pentingnya konsumsi buah dan sayur agar terciptanya masyarakat yang sehat

Abstract

Background: One of the strategies to overcome adolescent problems is the formation of the Youth Care Health Service Program or Pelayanan Kesehatan Peduli Remaja (PKPR). PKPR itself is a health service program aimed at adolescents and is a forum for overcoming adolescent problems. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the PKPR program in the working area of the West Lingkar Health Center. Method:  This research was a qualitative descriptive study conducted in March-April 2021. The methods used were observation and in-depth interviews with seven informants: the person in charge of the PKPR program, health workers, peer counselors, and youth participating in PKPR. Results: The results showed that the PKPR program was aligned with the 2014 standard guidelines. This research was done inside and outside the health center by collaborating with PKPR's person in charge and the health team based on the Decree of PKPR implementation. PKPR program is held in three schools in the working area of the West Lingkar Health Center and provides services such as health checks, counseling, and education about youth health. The peer counselor training subprogram has fulfilled the standard 10% of the target schools. PKPR is fully funded by the Special Operational Assistance or Bantuan Operasional Khusus (BOK) fund. Recording and reporting were done every two to three months to the public health office. Monitoring was reported during the activities, while the evaluation report is annual. This research discovered the availability of counseling rooms and related references about communication, information, and education books on PKPR. This research had collaborated with cross-sectors such as schools and the National Antinarcotics Agency. Conclusion:  Implementation is under PKPR guidelines, but overall it was still not optimal. There was no regular socialization of PKPR, especially for youth who did not attend school.

Abstract

Background: The implementation of Integrated Health Post or Pos Binaan Terpadu (Posbindu) Program for Non-Communicable Diseases is an effective and efficient strategy to control risk factor. The low interest in visiting Posbindu was shown from the number of visits that decreased in 2017 (75.4%) and 2018 (64.4%). This study aims to analyze the Integrated Health Post for Non-Communicable Diseases or Pos Binaan Terpadu Penyakit Tidak Menular (Posbindu PTM) program at Beringin Raya Community Health Center in Bengkulu. Method: This study used qualitative and descriptive approach, and was conducted in March-August 2020 using in-depth interview techniques. Results: The implementation of the Posbindu program was in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Funding for this program came from the Health Operational Assistance. However, it was not sufficient. Posbindu activities were held once a month and used 5 steps system (registration, health interviews, health checks, referrals, and health education). The examination results was only recorded on the visiting book, and they did not have specific monitoring tools. The supervision of the implementation and the evaluation were discussed in the monthly mini workshop. In addition, the facilities and infrastructure were still inadequate. There was a shortage medicine supplies, and the community participation in Posbindu PTM was still low. Conclusion: Posbindu PTM has been implemented according to the SOP, but the overall implementation such as funding, drug procurement, infrastructure, and the number of Posbindu visits is still insufficient.

Abstract

Kasus cedera pada anak usia sekolah dan remaja semakin meningkat. Masih kurangnya informasi mengenai kesehatan terutama untuk remaja. Perlu adanya pengetahuan dan pemahaman pada remaja terutama tentang berperilaku. Untuk itu, pendidikan kesehatan tentang kesehatan remaja menjadi langkah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman remaja tentang kesehatan remaja, terutama pada anak-anak sekolah. Sebab anak-anak merupakan kelompok rentan dan kecenderungan berperilaku berisiko mengalami permasalahan kesehatan. Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang akan dilaksanakan di Panti Asuhan Bintang Terampil menggunakan metode observasi, pendidikan kesehatan berupa penyuluhan. Observasi dilakukan untuk menentukan permasalahan apa yang dihadapi anak-anak, dilanjutkan kegiatan edukasi kesehatan remaja yang akhirnya akan berguna untuk menghadapi permasalahan kesehatannya. Dari observasi awal melalui wawancara terhadap 4 orang anak panti dengan beberapa pertanyaan mengenai pengetahuan tentang kesehatan remaja diketahui bahwa anak-anak belum mengetahui apa saja tentang kesehatan remaja. Hasil Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat setelah melakukan edukasi kesehatan remaja. Remaja mengetahui seputar kesehatan remaja, hal yang harus dihindari dan cara mengatasi masalah remaja. Kesimpulan dari hasil pengabdian ini kegiatan berjalan cukup baik, remaja telah mengetahui kesehatan remaja dan remaja antusias dalam mengikuti penjelasan yang diberikan.

Abstract

Ibu pekerja mempunyai tantangan tersediri untuk terus memberikan ASI Eksklusif kepada bayinya. Sebagian besar ibu pekerja di UM Bengkulu tidak memberikan ASI eksklusif disebabkan harus masuk kerja kembali setelah masa cuti habis. Penelitian ini betujuan mengetahui faktor pendorong pemberian ASI Eksklusif pada ibu pekerja di Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. Penelitian ini berjenis kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian diambil dari total populasi yang berjumlah 33 orang ibu. Data yang sudah terkumpul di analisis secara univariat dan bivariate (chi square). Hasil penelitian menemukan 60,6% tidak memberikan ASI eksklusif, suami kurang mendukung (51,5%), tempat kerja kurang mendukung (54,5%). Tidak terdapat hubungan dukungan suami (p vaule = 0,888 dan dukungan tempat kerja (p value = 0,255) dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi tentang ASI Eksklusif di masa pandemi Covid-19 Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Lingkar Timur Kota Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian quassy experimental dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Lingkar Timur. Populasi penelitian yaitu semua Ibu menyusui yang memiliki bayi usia 0 – 6 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Lingkar Timur Kota Bengkulu berjumlah sebanyak 59 orang, selanjutnya sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis, univariat dan bivariat (paired sample t test). Hasil analisis univariat menunjukan bahwa rata-rata skor pengetahuan sebelum edukasi sebesar 11,76 dan sesudah edukasi sebesar 15,69, sedangkan rata-rata skor sikap sebelum edukasi sebesar 78,93 dan sesudah edukasi sebesar 98,80. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan pengetahuan (P value = 0.000) dan sikap (P Value = 0.000) sebelum diberikan edukasi dan sesudah diberikan edukasi ASI Eksklusif. Edukasi sebaiknya terus dilakukan terutama selama masa pandemic, sehingga ibu tetap semangat terus memberikan ASI eksklusif

Abstract

Data patient visits in 2017 were 17,704 patients, then decreased in 2018 to 3,910 patients. The decrease in the number of community visits public health centre can be caused by community dissatisfaction with public health centre services, so it is very important to be researched. When the community or patients come public health centre, there are patient expectations of the quality of health services and patient satisfaction with service providers. This study aims to look at service quality by assessing the gap between perceived service and expected service based on the five servqual dimensions. This research is quantitative with analytic observational design cross sectional approach. Sample 135 patients. The service quality analysis was performed using the servqual method, calculating the gap score for the difference in the total value of perceived service minus the total value of expected service. The results show that the highest expectation value is the dimension assurance (4.43), then the dimensions of empaty (4.42), reliability (4.40), tangible (4.39), and responsiveness (4.34), respectively. The results of the calculation of the highest value of reality are empathy and tangible dimensions, namely 4.05, then the dimensions of reliability (4.04), assurance (3.26), and responsiveness (3.24), respectively. The results calculation service quality gap at Betungan public health center, Bengkulu City in terms of reliability, obtained gap value of -0.36, responsiveness obtained gap value of -1.11, assurance obtained gap value of -0, 19, empathy obtained gap value of 0.37, tangible obtained gap value of 0.35. The overall quality of service is negative so it can be concluded that the level of service quality at Puskesmas Betungan Bengkulu is still not good. The dimension with the largest negative servqual value is the assurance dimension, so it needs to be prioritized by the Betungan Community Health Center in order to improve service quality in terms of medical knowledge and skills so that patients feel safe.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pelayanan hemodialisa merupakan pengalihan darah pasien dari tubuh melalui dialiser secara difusi dan ultrafiltrasi.Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, jumlah pasien yang berobat di ruangan hemodialisa dari bulan Mei – Desember 2018 sebanyak 39 pasien. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis pelayanan hemodialisa di rumah sakit umum daerah harapan dan doa kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan di RSUD HD Kota Bengkulu pada bulan juni 2019. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara terhadap kepala unit hemodialisa, penanggung jawab promosi pelayanan hemodialisa, 2 perawatan hemodialisa, dan 3 orang keluarga pasien serta  menggunakan  observasi  dan  dokumentasi.  Analisis  data  dengan menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sarana dan prasarana pelayanan hemodialisa terdiri dari  ruangan  yang nyaman, memiliki  ruang sterilisasi,  ruangan  dengan kapasitas 10 mesin dialisis.Persyaratan peralatan terdiri dari 10 mesin dialisis, kurangnya alat-alat yang digunakan dalam promosi, fasilitas AC, TV, dan Wifi, pemberian erythropoietin.Persyaratan ketenagaan terdiri dari kurangnya tenaga medis yang bersertifikat hemodialisa.  Disimpulkan  bahwa  pelayanan hemodialisa di RSUD HD Kota Bengkulu berjalan sesuai dengan kebijakan yang ada, hanya saja kurangnya tenaga medis yang bersertifikat pelatihan hemodialisa.Perlunya keikutsertaan tenaga medis dalam pelatihan hemodialisa, sarana dan prasaran pelayanan hemodialisa dan peralatan hemodialisa.
