Abstract

The blended learning model combines f2f (face-to-face) learning with collaborative online learning classes. Blended learning is developed using Google classroom which has many features that strongly support digital-based teaching and learning. In addition, it also provides convenience for both lectures and during teaching and learning. Lecturers and students can carry out teaching and learning in the classroom and outside the classroom, discuss and communicate while they are connected through internet network. Lecturers can provide practical learning material in the form of e-books, e-jobsheets, video tutorials, and practice questions through cloud storage which is packaged in the form of digital content that can be accessed, studied and shared via internet anytime and anywhere by students. Blended learning is applied to the Programming Algorithm Practicum course. This research used R&D as the type of research, particularly in which a development method with ADDIE approach is applied. Moreover, the true experimental true experimental design approach (posttest only control design) is used to test the effectiveness of blended learning model. The results of this study proves that the implementation of blended learning is effective and efficient for teaching and learning process, especially for generation Z in higher education. The results of media and material validation are declared valid and suitable based on percentage of 81% ≥ v ≤100% with valid criteria, then the effectiveness of this blended learning can be seen from the results of the mid test and final test of the experimental group (Experiment Group) that was better than the control group (Control Group).

The current situation in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak, Industrial Revolution Education 4.0 adapts the new curriculum. The curriculum must be able to open a window to the world through digital information, for example: utilizing a smartphone / android in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak. Educators with a lot of exploring learning techniques and lots of references will be able to implement learning activities effectively even though they are currently in the midst of Covid-19, but all of this is not free from challenges in its implementation, especially educators. Making mobile learning media applications aims to produce learning media that makes it easier for students to learn multimedia and internet courses wherever they are. The development of this application uses the Prototyping development method with Android-based Java programming with Android Studio application software (version 3.3) with Gradle 4.4. This research produces an Android-based mobile learning media application, the features in this interactive module application are RPS, learning materials, videos, and exercises that are in accordance with the Electronic Engineering curriculum learning material, Faculty of Engineering, UNP.

Abstract

The high unemployment rate is a challenge for the world of education because not all graduates succeed in entering the world of work. Higher education is one of the largest contributors to unemployment in Indonesia. Likewise with the objectives of vocational education which are expected to be able to immediately work and create jobs. The problem is that not all majors are according to personality type. Therefore, researchers will develop a system aimed at recommending majors in higher education based on personality types. The method used is the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Four D (4 D) model a. Defining stage (Define); b) Design Stage (Design); c) Development Stage (Develop); d) Stage of Spread (Disseminate). This research was only carried out to the extent of development and resulted in a valid system to be implemented based on the validator's assessment. The data collection instrument consisted of product and linguistic expert validation sheets. This study shows that the validation results have an average percentage of 92.5% with a valid category. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the system is valid to be used as a reference in selecting majors

Abstract

Absorption of vocational graduates into the world of work and industry that has not been optimal is the main focus of this research, one of the factors causing the non-optimal absorption of vocational graduates is the integration of the existing career information system with the needs of the world of work, so that the data and information obtained are not valid, practical and effective. This study aims to explain the process of designing an integrated career system that is able to recommend careers and jobs based on personality. The method used in this study is the 4D method, namely Define, Design, Development and Disseminate. The result of this study is a system application that is able to provide job recommendations based on six personality types that are useful in vocational training. The results of the model construct validation test obtained fit where, p = 0.26972 and RMSEA = 0.029, the expert validity test on aspects of Design 0.88 (Valid), Operational 0.88 (Valid), and Benefits 0.90 (Very Valid), the results practicality test 0.83 (Practical).
