Abstract

ABSTRACT Digital banking and the accountability of good zakat can increase interest in paying zakat on the benchmarking of sharia. On the other hand, technological advances such as the use of artificial intelligence make the role of human resources shifted. Even though human resources (labor) are one of the potential sources of zakat revenue. Zakat literacy and interest in paying zakat are also low in Islamic banking. The researcher did not find zakat data in statistical reports on Islamic banks nationally. It seems that it was only found in the presentation of reports about the sources and uses of private Islamic bank zakat funds. This can lead to the perception that Islamic banks do not optimally manage zakat. Through literature studies, researchers provide a solution to how zakat management can be done to increase interest in paying zakat but can still maintain the use of human resources (work). The conclusion obtained is that interest in paying zakat on Islamic banks cannot be maximally realized if it is not supported by internal efforts. Efforts that can be made are transparency of zakat reports, increased literacy, acceleration and optimization of digital management of Islamic bank zakat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of digitalization zakat payments on the potential for zakat acceptance at the BAZNAS Jakarta center. The originality of this research lies in the digitalization analysis of zakat payments to increase the potential for receiving BAZNAS center based on sharia economic approaches, and digital technology theory. The research method used is associative quantitative using a simple linear regression analysis technique with a sample size of 170 respondents selected based on purposive sampling technique. From the results of data analysis using SPSS 19.0, an R-value of 74.8% was obtained, which means that the relationship between the digitalization of zakat payments and the potential for receiving zakat at the BAZNAS is strong.  The findings show that the digitalization variable of zakat payment or zakat payment (X) influences the potential for zakat receipt (Y) of 55.9%, and the remaining 40.1% is influenced by other factors not considered. Based on the results of deepening between the theory and practice of digital zakat revealed that the challenges in efforts to increase the potential for digital zakat acceptance in Indonesia are internet access which is still weak and uneven in Indonesian territory, building an 'attachment' relationship between mustahiq, muzzaki and BAZNAS, and the application of principles of sharia in the management of zakat. Therefore, the research explains the strategies that can be done to answer the challenges of digital zakat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide a literature review of the problems currently faced by Islamic Capital Markets, given that Islamic capital market products have not been used significantly as a source of financing outside of Islamic Banks. Whereas the opportunity as an alternative source of funding is quite large, especially because of the potential of the majority of Indonesian Muslims. The method used in this study is the literature method based on the most up-to-date reading sources from books and journals. Data analysis methods used are SWOT analysis so that it is expected to find the right strategic solution for using the Islamic capital market as a source of financing outside the bank. The results of the analysis indicate that the use of Islamic capital market products has a positive force by continuously maintaining its existence. Its superiority is influenced by its activities which avoid Maghrib (Maysir, haram, usury and gharar). The impact is very significant on environmental empowerment or 'green economy' because it indirectly prohibits the practice of destroying natural resources for stakeholder actors. The disadvantage is the large number of human resources in the Islamic Capital Market who are unable to use sophisticated technology appropriately and optimally. Opportunities come from technological developments and increasing public financial literacy on the Islamic capital market. The obstacle is that there is a high risk due to external factors, namely political, economic, socio-cultural changes that must be watched because there is always no certainty about it.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to propose the management of BAZNAS which could become one of the role models of digital zakat because it is quite successful in managing zakat and the use of digital technology to create the interests of the people. Literature studies are used to reveal the use of digital technology in BAZNAS and how to develop digital entrepreneurship in the future. Findings from the results of the study revealed that the BAZNAS digital zakat program can reduce poverty due to empowering mustahik through digital entrepreneurship and digital technology innovation in the form of rice atm. Other digital technology implementations are digitizing zakat payments, application-based digital information technology services for muzzaki, and blockchain (i-zakat) in managing digital zakat. For the development of digital entrepreneurship, the role of government, universities, and BAZNAS must be able to work well together. The BAZNAS Model digital zakat program can be a useful reference for global zakat managers in improving digital entrepreneurial practices and zakat distribution innovation. The implications of this research are the results of observations on the practice of using BAZNAS digital zakat technology in the management of zakat based on a theoretical basis using an Islamic economic approach.

Abstract

Zakat institutions make a variety of new innovations and accelerations in terms of management strategies to improve zakat management. Getting support from Government Regulations and DSN MUI Fatwa regarding the use of IT is certainly a motivation for zakat institutions to increasingly actively develop technology-based services. IT is one of the main focuses of the marketing strategy to increase muzaki's interest in distributing zakat through online zakat services. But in the middle of the community it seems that the presence of digital zakat services still requires a long process of obtaining 'postioning'. In addition, the use of technology must also be more careful, especially because of the negative impact it has. Sharia marketing mix offers strategy management based on sharia principles which in its development is dominated by contemporary fiqh studies. The research aims to provide a literature review on the collaboration of sharia marketing mix and digital marketing zakat. An interesting study considering there are still few studies that reveal a combination of both. Sharia marketing mix present offers management strategies that conventional marketing mix lacks. The results of the literature review state that sharia marketing mix has a special advantage in filtering the negative impact of the use of technology compared to the marketing mix which has been widely used by companies, financial institutions and non-banks.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of policies to accelerate tourism economic recovery affected by the Covid 19 pandemic after the Lombok West Nusa Tenggara Earthquake in 2018. This study finds disagreement between previous studies and a lack of empirical evidence. Studies that show critics say that the development of the government's economic recovery strategy after the natural disaster in Lombok-Sumbawa is considered not optimal. The quantitative research design focuses on two themes, namely: 1) central and local government policies; and 2) planning strategies in the context of accelerating tourism economic recovery. The first finding reveals that the government's policy through the medium-term tourism economic recovery strategy as stated in the 2019-2023 RPJMD carried out by the West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Government has not been maximized. This can be seen clearly from the high number of poor people in West Lombok at 17 percent with an unemployment rate of 3.35 percent. As a result of the implementation of social distancing in the midst of the Covid 19 Pandemic and the post-earthquake on Lombok Island, West Nusa Tenggara, since 2018 there has been a decline in tourist visits due to the earthquake and the Covid-19 pandemic. The strategy carried out is data collection and support activities through priority programs that have been divided into 4 clusters to increase 3A (attractions, accessibility, and amenities for tourist villages/new tourist villages). In addition, a Digital-Based Promotion Strategy for Unaffected Destinations which intensifies promotion with a BAS (Branding, Advertising for e-commerce, Selling) strategy. The expected implication is that this research can contribute to accelerating the recovery of the tourism economy globally which has been affected by Covid 19 and after natural disasters
